From alpha testing to the QUERCUS 200

Sometimes the weight can be a little sticky, and then when it starts to drop it can often just keep dropping. If the food is right and you keep exercising as vigorously as you have, the weight will come.

As long as I keep overeating at dinner I can't moan too much. I need to get that in check so I can really get some world class bitching going. :cuss:

Thanks Pap and Cate!
Nothing to bitch about today.
253.4 and 26% BF following a perfect food day, 1mile run, 1 mile bike ride, and cutting firewood.

I've signed up for a ridiculous running challenge this month. I'm on the hook for 93.3 miles for the month of October. It's from challengeville.net if you're interested. I did the timefighter challenge in the past which was under 50 miles. So 5K a day average here I come.

Good luck on the running challenge. 5k/day avg is a good challenge to shoot for.

I may join you in a couple more months

I bet you will K&D! You're progressing well.

Triumph my advice is run very little and very slow so it isn't miserable. Then you can increase gradually and you'll come to love it instead of hate it. Running was always used as punishment and I always hated it. I literally started running a few seconds at a time and worked my way up to a slow half hour over months. Now I've run at least a mile every day for 308 days and I'm upping it to 3.1 miles a day. I can't imagine not running. Feel free to ask questions if you want to give it a go.

Ambitious stuff. Good work on the dropped poundage, Q.

And I'm afraid you need work to get to world class on the bitching scale. The good news is that, for guys, it's the sort of talent that increases exponentially as we age.

Thanks Vee! I think I can do it.
28:21 5K for day 1 and day 309
I ended up making popcorn late so not perfect. 255 and 26% this morning.

The one good thing about losing weight is you don´t have to be perfect - just on this side of maintenance. But I´m pretty sure you´re heading in the direction of dietary perfection again anyway :)

Nice a cold last night. It was in the high forties so I went out and enjoyed some reading by headlamp in my hammock.

252.8 and 27% BF this morning. That's the lowest since trying to get back on track. I wasn't great with food last night, but the +3 mile runs are making me hungry. Wood splitting, kale planting, small fence build, and a 5K are the plans for the day.

Great job. Wow. I must say, I'm not a runner at all, however, I can get cardio when I'm involved in a competition such as tennis. My old competitive juices help me forget that I'm running around....keep up the great work........Mark

Thanks Mark! As long as you're getting the old ticker going it really doesn't matter how.

So a slow 3.1 miles after mowing, tilling, and planting 48 kale plants. If half of them make we will have kale coming out of our ears.

The added mileage has made for sore knees. I'm taking the pacing slow and hoping I adapt. Now for a shower and an evening in town.

I like kale a lot, but only after a good frost. Stuff´s sort of boring and tough before that. Take care of your knees!

That's why I waited so late to plant them LaMa. We can't buy Dino Kale locally so hopefully it will grow well.

Yesterday was a quicker 5K after several hour of wood splitting and hauling. I'm running out of room for firewood with another tree that has to come down. An oak died that could fall on the carport or us in the yard. I'm going to have to make some firewood racks I think.

I'm sore from head to toe and I have not weighed today or yesterday.

Congrats on quite a few days of 5k in a row and the ever increasing wood piles. Sounds like a great cardio/strength building combo.

Hope the knees are feeling better today
