Five things you may not know about me....

1. I collect garden gnomes but I hoard them and put them on shelves. I can't put them outside because someone will steal them since I live in Baltimore.
2. I really, really truly love washing dishes.
3. I can't stand 99% of the people I meet in person. Oh wait, I alluded to this in a post I made today.
4. I freak out in my head when I'm late or if I'm almost late. When I'm late or just on time my whole day feels ruined. (WTF! This seems like some sort of psychosis.)
5. When I was little my neighbor and love interest (we were five, I think) broke my face (and my child heart) with a wooden baseball bat. I'll never forget his name and I google him occasionally just out of curiosity. I have never been able to find him for certain.

Has there been a rampage of gnome thefts in Baltimore! LOL. I can just picture it:

Burglar #1: Hey, look a huge flat screen TV.

Burglar #2: No man, put it back we've hit the mother load. Look at all the gnomes.

Burglar #1: Woo hoo! We've finally hit the big time!

I love that you collect gnomes AND admit it. That must be one heck of a collection!

Well I have only been on here for like 2 weeks so I guess anything would qualify but here goes.
1. I have a home based business making homemade soap and other bath and body products.

2. My wife and I had mutual crushes on each other from the age of 13 but every time one of us was available the other wasn't. We started dating @ 21 and were married 5 months later.

3. I was an avid atheist until I was 24 and am now a devout Christian.

4. When I was 16 I shot a boy with a compound bow. He was standing in front of my target teasing me and I meant to shoot at the ground in front of him. It hit him in his thigh. I could have killed him and it still bothers me a little.

5. My 11 year old son is actually my step-son but since we moved here after he was born and I don't call him my step son virtually no one knows it. Not a secret or anything I just don't think of him that way and it seldom comes up.

-I play guitar
-I love country music
-I enjoy drawing
-I'm very self conscious
-I like being alone more than being with others

1. I hate 99% of people in my age group, and make it a point to be anti-social...
2. I love New Wave, New romanticism, Jazz, Progressive Rock, and many other unclassifiable genres
3. One of my best talents is buildign and designing websites... But I hate doing it!
4. I was born and raised in Nashville, moved to Erie when I was 12 (Gained all my weight) moved back to Nashville when I was 14, moved to Minnesota last January, and I'm moving back to Nashville in June.
5. I have seen and heard ghosts, but my mother has seen and heard many many more than I...

Ha. Ha. Ha. Baltimore is plagued by violent crime and nuisance crime. I just feel like if I put them out front they'll disappear. I live in a decent neighborhood, but there really aren't any truly safe neighborhoods in the city since all the nice areas are flanked by impoverished shitholes.

But I'm glad you find my gnome collection and admission to doing so amusing. :) If you knew me in person, you'd never guess I collect them. They're soooo grandma-ish. I got my first one in Switzerland and I've been all over 'em ever since.

Maybe I'll take some pictures and post them on here over the weekend. Maybe I'll just take a picture of my favorite. I really like the ones that are cradling or caressing animals (lambs and bunnies, especially). Okay, now I'm starting to sound creepy.

Tamara

Also, I don't have a flatscreen. I don't even have cable. :(

Ooh this is fun!!

1. I don't have a TV, and I haven't had one in over 2 years. I don't watch it, and I don't see a point in buying one.

2. I look very professional in my day job, but I'm really an aspiring tattoo artist.

3. I sculpt, paint and airbrush.

4. I have 13 tattoos and plan on getting more!

5. I would love to get breast implants once I get to my goal weight and maintain it, or lose more.

I think mine will be a little different

1) I'm a professor of entomology at a major university
2) I used to ride bulls and saddle bronc in high school, college and professionally but prefer backpacking now
3) I served as a US Army Ranger
4) I've been shot once and have had numerous broken bones (see #2)
5) I like both kinds of music, country and western

1. I also don't own a TV (it's only been a year though)
2. I've always wanted to play a musical instrument, but have never taken the time to learn how
3. I totally enjoy doing martial arts
4. I love the taste of spinach
5. I think I've figured out the secret of happiness (now if I can just figure out how to apply it to my life...)

-Scott

P.S. I ordered a nice pan flute, and it should arrive next week.

I think your user name gave it away. Haha. I've never had an bug phobia, but mass quantities of aphids so make my skin crawl. A couple of summers ago we had such an infestation of winged aphids in my city that you couldn't walk outside without inhaling or swallowing them. Unfortunately I worked outside during the evenings. Eeeewwww.

I'm new here, but here are my 5 facts

1. I legally changed my name just because I wanted to.
2. I have bees, chickens, and a blacksmith shop and live in suburbia.
3. My children have the same birthday, but born two years apart.
4. I make my own beer and mead (a wine made from honey)
5. I've been through the Suez and Panama Canals.

My dad and uncle had the same bday but 8 yrs apart! My dad has passed away that's why I said "had".

~I have a mixed heritage . . . Cherokee and Irish. And yes, I do have an Irish temper. On occasion.
~I have 4 tattoos and 6 piercings.
~I'm bored with my current profession so I am seeking a second degree in a totally different field.
~I grew up on a farm and I know way more about agriculture and farm animals than I really care to know.
~I was pulled over in January for speeding (just a little). The irony of this is, the Trooper that pulled me over is the very same Trooper that was a witness in the trial I was speeding to get to. :svengo: Go figure.

What's your current profession?

What would you like a new degree in?

Was it your trial? Or were you on the Jury?

Currently I am a litigation paralegal. I am working towards a computer programming degree with an emphasis in web development and design.

Oh, I'll let you build a website for free for me.

:p

lol, no not my trial. I was there to assist my attorneys. :D

Ok good, I didn't know if I had to worry about you hunting me down after our spat in the other thread.
