Performance -Not Enough!

gotta get back in the endurance zone today. Planning on a long ride and a long run. who knows what can happen thoough,,,, but i will work out big today. Reporting later.

time to get back in the saddle. otherewise I will probably shoot right back up to 200 lbs, put those 3 inches right back on, get a fatty brain, turn slothful, have a minor heartattack, eventual stroke and die with my skin absorbing ointo the couch..... oh goodlord save me.

Whatcha got planned for November 18 (sunday)? That is the date of the Horrible Hundred, a 100mile bikle ride that includes Sugarloaf mountain. I am going to register this week for it.

And, I am going to register this week for the Race Across Florida on April 29, 2008.

I am taking swimming lessons starting Monday to learn to swim better for a triathlon next year. I am going to work on that as that is by far my weakest leg of a triathlon.

Well,
i feel much better-
Ride: 25 miles about 2 hours, took my son with me. it is amazing how good of shape he is in for a 12 yr old kid.
Run: 9 miles 1:18:04 and did it ever feel good.

Also took update photos as you requested Sparrow. they are going into the FF headed to Iron right now.

then i went and did my max(?) 255 deadlift- but was able to bang out 8 reps. my grip is the weak link in this lift. my comfort was much greater thsi second time.

15 minutes stationary bike.

good grief Renae! that is one heck of a workout. made me feel all puffed up like a body builder! you are the gal!
 
Ran 3.5 miles last night after playing Mr. Mom for the entire evening. It was actually kind of nice going out to run at 9:pm. Made for hell trying to go to sleep.

took my youngest to auditions for a christmas play, and my sone to a mini TKD tourny, and listened to my 15 year olds drama for hours on end....

tonight I get to spin and swim!!

AFTER I ATTEMPT TO GET 500 pushups in one day.

1.2 mile swim 40:58 - that is one half of the Ironman length. There is some reality about Ironman-- the swim portion alone is well over an hour and half... oh my.. kind of like doing pushups on a calculator-- it aint real until you get in the water and start trying to swim 2.4 miles that it gets real.... forget about the 6-7 hour bike ride, that should set a guy up real nice for a FF'in marathon!!!!! AM I INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg!!! Spaaaaarrrrrroooowwwww!!!! I am gunna get you!

then i got beat in rummy by a 12 yer old boy 3 times. my 15 yr old daughter called me old, and my youngest lil hunk of love didn't even stick up for me :(

We talk a lot on these forums about what foods are good to eat and what foods are bad to eat. One thing we don't talk about is crack. So my advice to you FF... LAY OFF THE CRACK!!! You have been so insane latley :yelrotflmao:

I just went thru a business failure, my wife has not been home at noght for 6 weeks now, I just started a new job, did a half Ironman last week, doing a 102 mile bike race in a couple of weeks, then a full ironman in 08, I have two new sponsors to deal with, and my finger nails need cut-- but at least my feet are almost healed up!

thank for the condolences but - I am a spoiled rotten little brat. all is well. the business thing hurt like hell, but I had trainign to focus on, and lots of really great friends.

Score! Night turned out awesome. i got to hit the gym and then meet up with my kids. the neighbor lady watched them and got them started.

OK OK- i ate 'a few' lil candy bars,, but only the chocolate ones- ie": Milky ways, snickers and Kit Kats. OK and i didn't count ;)

it wasn't my calves that ended up hurting it was my quads and gluts,, squats!! i was feeling those babies.

Yeah, you're pretty crazy to do the ironman. Theres no question there, and for the record, I had NOTHING to do with that. I think when you caught me we were talking about SPRINT races. Yeah? lol. Talk about being an over achiever.

Don't get so busy you forget to talk to the little people ;) Sounds like the Mr. Mom thing is going pretty well :D

Rode 15 mi to office,,, a little over an hour.

trying 60 minutes of plank today, and riding home to play with kids.

one more week and mommma is HOME!! GOD is GOOD

It felt good to write that piece in Chillens log. It made me look inside to what i have been learning.. AND i realize experience can not always be told, it has to be experienced...

Ride- 15 miles to work, 15 miles home = total of abotu 3 hours on Mountain bike

Plank position ab work = 40 minutes.

Threw away all the halloween candy.

Got asked some fitness questions at the office today. One girl saw me ride up and complimented my body,,, if felt really good, probably because of what she said "you look great, O'll bet that takes alot of work."

SPENT WAY TOO MUCH TIME ON THIS BOARD TODAY!! but there sure are some good peeps here.

I totally forgot!! this morning before I swam i did my deadlift "goal"

300 Beeeeeyatch!! and what was totally cool.... is that I noticed the bar starts to bend at that weight. I wanna bench it.

but to cool my jets some,, let's realize it is only the 3 time i have tried to do deadlift,, so 300 was not a worthy goal. Let's go 350. that may take some work to get to.
 
Tried my best to get into the Ironman Florida Event today and didn't get a slot. It is amazing to me that we have go thru so much adversity trying to get a slot in one of these races. dissappointed.. SO- I registered for the Orlando 70.3 M-dot Ironman event. I can possibly win the opportunity to purchase an IM 08 slot. AMAZING!!! and stupid-- I will not vent anymore....sorry.

Run: 45 minutes outside-- about 5 miles aroun the church grounds waiting for my kid to get out of the Christmas play rehearsal.
