First of May – My New Way

Just came home from my 5 km walk, 59 minutes, if I remember correct that same route took my 70-75 minutes in May at 149 kg and my fastest time is around 57 minutes, so can't be anything but satisfied after a 3 month pause.

Yesterday was the big family get together and after six days in a row exercising my body felt like needing a break, so no exercise and I ate 700 cals of chips, cookies and wine gums besides my diet...
Today I did grocery shopping and found myself starring at wine gums, turned the ship around and got myself a coke zero and did my 5 km walking.
Later on dinner will be lemon chicken, boiled potatoes and boiled Brussel sprouts. The end. Back at good habits before the gummy bears get to me!

Hey Clarissa!! I love your diary! Could only read a few pages as it is SOOOO long!!:) ill catch up when I have more time! Like the others have mentioned above, I am so sorry to hear of your losses. Thank god you are a fighter and were able to pull through from it.

I can totally relate to the gain. I lost 3 stone in the last year and a half! I have gained a stone of that back and I just seem to be maintaining the weight I'm currently at! It's so hard to diet and exercise approaching Christmas isn't it?!

Well done on all that exercise!!! That's amazing stuff right there! Can't wait to see your progression in the next few months!! Best of luck girly xxx

Hi Irish! Maintaining is a good effort too, I am sure body adapts to the "new" plateau and that makes it easier to restart weight loss when ready again.
*
The daycare called me at 10am, the youngest had 38.9 in fever, a couple of hours later 40.5. Off to the doc then, who suspects influenza. So day cancelled, had planned for the kids to go to their father so I could work late and then cut my mother's dog's hair (3 hour job) and then do my 5 km. None of that happened, but diet was fine at least.
Plan to go swimming tomorrow evening.

Most likely going to skip swimming, my daughter have had a turn for the worse and I am starting to feel a little worn, long eventful day at school too.
However I have been watching both my parents pig out big time with christmas candy, but I stuck to my diet plan and had an orange and a hardboiled egg. Good for me.

Well.. Today I attacked a bag of chips and ate it all, I skipped lunch and afternoon tea, but that's still bad choice.
This evening I'm making knob selleri puré with garden cress and garlic and minced low fat beef with chili. Hoping to get an hour of walking in, miss it and am loosing my mind washing all these clothes and pillow cases from urine and vomit or keep making porigde the girl dosen't eat anyway all day. Sorry I'm complaining.

Sorry to hear about your daughter, hope she feels better soon! It's no fun being sick, nor is it fun taking care of someone who is sick. Hope you get that walk in today and catch up with the not so fun laundry you must do. Hope you eat better as well and stay away from the chips. I've done it before too, open it and eat a few and all of a sudden there's nothing left in the bag...whoops! But you can't change the past, so drink a bunch of water and make better choices the rest of the day - it's all you can do.

Thanks for stopping by :)
it helps to get things in writing, I'm mostly annoyed because my mother keeps avoiding her chores and I'm also cooking for her, think I sounded like a narrowminded parent there.
I have a lot of papers to read before tomorrow too and it's already 7pm here. But I have decided to do my walk, it is first priority now otherwise I will lose my mind a little.

That really sucks. Hopefully the walk helps clear your head and you can get through those papers in record time :)

Got my 5 km walk, in the dark forest in the full moon with loud loud Rammstein in my ears, really intense feeling. Also did all my paperwork. Which means I am tired with a head ache today.
Have been at a christmas reception, only had a cup of black coffee and my daughter is currently free of fever. Lovely.
Later I will go that new forest route again. Staying on the strait and narrow, diner will be quinoa, vegestables and olives - and peanuts as my fat source.

Good job on the walking! Sucks about going a little over on the peanuts though, but still all in all pretty good :) Glad to hear your daughter is doing better as well!

Oh my feet, have been christmas shopping 7 hours today and just did 5 km walking and 325 meters of running.
Had a wholegrain millet/buckwheat bun with paté and a cup of tea this morning (a total of 280 cals) at a restaurant I had a ceasar salad without bread or croutons, but with a handfull of French fries + water and a double espresso - cals? no idea!
Dinner will be 200 cals of salmon and some leftover salad. It's Friday and I have some low fat popped millet and oranges for later. Have a great weekend ppl :D

It's not possible to have anyone watch the kids today, so no exercise, miss my alone time already :(. It's 4.30pm and so far I've had 800 cals, haven't been hungry.
My scale is a little bit broken, the numbers haven't wanted to decide my weight all week, it keeps changing up and down untill it displays E(rror). Will try to look at it later.

Sucks you won't get a workout in today. As for your scale, perhaps batteries need to be changed or some connection is loose and it needs repairs or to be replaced? Hope you get it figured out.

Yes it's a shame, I'm so motivated and addicted to running right now.
I found it! It was a small rubber disc which had fallen off, weight settled at 136, it's evening, TOM-time and I was wearing clothes. Think I am doing pretty well :)
Will try to remember to weigh in at 29th of dec. 'cause I restarted my diet 29th of November at 140,6 kg

Good morning! It's 6am, two days to christmas and I just had my lowest weight and measurements 133,9kg/295.2lbs.
My father is coming over at dinner time so I can get out there and burn some fat.

Wauw must have been flying today, knocked FIVE minutes of my record on my regular 5 km route. 52 minutes took it, almost cannot believe it :)

Just came home from a nature path, wow there were lots of slopes, stairs and sand, did certainly raise the heart rate, 60 minutes.
