First of May – My New Way

Thanks LaMa. I didn't know about the massages until now, went there for a spinning session once before signing up, and never took the time to look around.
 
I am so sick sick sick sick sick of being fat and letting myself gain again and again. Sigh. My brother's girlfriend got her baby the following day, 5 lbs, little but healthy. (my Brother is not the father). My mother is still having different testings done and waiting for a date for her pacemaker.

I ate three quarters of a gallon tofu ice cream in a week. Yeah that bad. My exam is a 24 hour exam NeXT week. The feeling of not being ready for it overshadows all my motivation and commitment to diet and execise. Today I have, so far, eaten 1170 cals and it's 7pm. Plan on having a banana-peanut butter shake later on.

-plain soy yoghurt with Chia seeds and unsweetened cocoa, soy latte 250
-apple 50, soy latte 25
-cole slaw and falafels 350
-Brown rice with turkey, red onions and tomato-garlic sauce 495

I made double of everything and will eat exactly the same tomorrow, aim at 1600-2000 cals depending on hunger.

I will make a new and fresh diary after my exam, when I have more mental energy to define how I want 2015 to be.
 
God I hate sugar, it messes with my life and health. Had blood work done last week, still has normal (in the low end) blood sugar levels, but another couple of years eating like this will probably be an invite for uncle Diabetes..

ate 1970 cals yesterday, fatty meats made cals high, had no sugar. Today:

Morning: fibre flakes with soy milk, pecans and raisins, soy latte, grated Jerusalem artichokes with lemon juice 360.
Snack: soy latte 25.
Lunch: Mexican soup 475.
Snack: fibre flakes with raisins and soy milk 250.
Dinner: rice noodles, banana and wholegrain crackers 510.
Total: 1620.
 
Morning: fibre flakes with pecans, clementine and soy milk, soy latte 350.
Snack: soy latte 25.
Lunch: ham sandwich and cole slaw 350, clementine 75.
Snack: wholegrain crackers 150, fibre flakes with raisins and soy milk 250.
Dinner: rice noodles and chili chicken 450.
Total: 1650.
 
Hi Quercus. The gym is great, haven't popped in yet for real, after my exam Wednesday I will hit it hard. I have the kids all weekend and we are going to soccer practice Saturday and perhaps Ice skating too so I will get a Little exercise in.

It’s been a hectic day, had a couple of hours of group session at school, and then I was called to the boy’s school because he couldn’t handle more school today and he has had a bad week. He refused to go shopping so we had to bike straight home. We were completely out of all dairy and soymilk. Had no time for lunch either, grabbed a piece of chicken and had to bike back to the school to pick up the girl and to the kindergarten afterwards and hurry straight home because I have ordered a new bike for a child and it might show up. Was on the phone a lot with an educational worker who deals with troubled kids too. Told her a lot of Things, we had planned a meeting this Monday with another person who deals with kids and families, the children's father didn't care for getting out of bed that day or fixing lunch boxes, and he had the children that day, who have compulsory attendance in their primary schools of course, but he chose to keep them home and then he showed up to the meeting with three kids. He hadn't even bothered to comb their hair and snarled at the social worker and me. Well just the perfect example to show he isn't adequate and probably is the root to the boy's behaviour problems.

My mother got a pacemaker today, it went well and she will return to our island’s hospital tomorrow. She has two Heart conditions, the pacemaker will solve one of them, and hopefully medication will control the other.

At the end of the afternoon I called my father to 'sit and to have dinner with the children so I could go shopping for our much-needed foods. He told me to buy a shitload of candy at the store for the children. The kind you mix yourself. My absolute biggest weakness. First I refused too, but then; I have no say in how much candy he wishes to give them (I do have a say in how much they can eat and how often) so I mixed candy for all the money …FOUR pounds of candy. OM G never bought that much candy in one go, not even half that. I mixed the candy wisely, played the gluten card and only picked the pieces that contain gluten and/or dairy so I cannot cave into it and swallow a pound of it tonight. Now they have Friday candy for ages and ages and I am still a bit baffled that I tricked myself LOL.

Fifth day in a row eating well and I am 2,8 kg above my lowest weight.
 
Good job on selecting candy you´re not inclined to eat. The rest... well, let´s just say "good luck" on that, I hope things get better.
 
I did it because I just know I am not in a place where I am able to resist gluten free candy in my home.
Have had an upset stomach today and it made me thirsty and when I was freezing at the ice skating track I drank a liter of soy cocoa very fast and very unwisely from a cal counting perspective. Still doing great with diet though, will do a week average tomorrow.
Morning: wholegrain crackers with ham and mayo, half a green peber bell, grated Jerusalem artichokes with lemon juice, soy latte 330.
Snack:
Lunch: a litre of vegan hot chocolate 750.
Snack: wholegrain crackers with ham, green peber bells and gherkins, soy latte 200.
Dinner: medister, cauliflower stew and boiled potatoes 850.
Total: 2130.
 
Morning: buckwheat bun with ham and mayo, cucumber and soy latte 300.
Snack: soy latte 25.
Lunch: potatoes, cauliflower stew and wholegrain crackers 375.
Snack: jr banana and clementine 105, sharon fruit and apple 140.
Dinner: tuna sandwiches 850, orange 90.
Total: 1885.
