First of May – My New Way

Sounds like you gave yourself a good workout doing Yoga. Maybe it's better to have started out with the shorter program just so you can ease yourself into it. I hope the full program works out just as well. :)

Found out the beginner full is not on the disc.. Well I did the beginner short again this morning and some of the exercises from routine programme. 40 min total and a good experience.
Just came home from my 4 km route (2 km beach, 2 km forest incl. one steep slope and one staircase) pressed myself this morning finished 6 min early and ran 100 meters.
Summer has come 26 celsius yesterday and today.
Did stupid thing, got on scale and discovered 1 kg gain since Wednesday... Hmm, however I have lost 2 inches upper thigh and noticed lot of new muscle on lower thigh since May 1th.
70% of the 2 km on the beach today felt so easy, almost like flying. Cannot be gaining FAT!!!?

Have been exercising a lot this week and exept from the 400 cal f¤ck up with the almonds and grapes I have not crossed the 1500 cal a day/week average at any point. Can by the way still make up for that; I go Wednesday to Wednesday.

2 km swimming
7 km biking
better write it down, plan to do a count on weekly exercise at some time

So, just came home and will make a day's total.
40 min yoga
4 km walk
2 km swim
11 km bike
Drove pass the supermarket an picked up a fresh pile of fruits and vegestables - and some cans of easy meals like chickpeas, tuna, asparges ..and the zeeeroo. Also arranged for a nanny so I can go swimming again on Thursday. Kids will be here all next week and Sunday and Monday are holidays /swimbath closed

Guess that I had a little fit yesterday about gaining 1 kg ..today that kilo is still there..
I went to the closet and had another fit, but a GOOD fit, three pants I couldn't fit last summer at 137 kg are fitting me now at 143 kg.

Muscle weighs more than fat so it's possible that you're losing fat, but gaining muscle at the same time which causes the little spike in weight. I'm glad you're measuring yourself too because I've found the scale to be very unreliable. I'm also steadily losing inches, but the scale is being very mean to me. Either my weight stalls or it goes up/down slightly. I'm happy though. My body is shrinking. I'm fitting into smaller clothes and I feel a lot better. Those factors make up for the tricks that the scale enjoys playing on me. :)

Keep up the good work. Sooner or later the scale will catch up for you, and me!

I hope it is muscle, measures haven't gone up and I just cannot gain fat on a 1500 cal diet? Anyway am really considering bying a puls watch and that I perhaps should hit the gym, it will be easier to burn calories there than in the forest, and I can avoid getting grilled in the sun.
20 min yoga and 1500 calories.

Trust me, I did mega searches online about losing inches and not losing weight and they all say it's very possible. The more you exercise, the more your muscles are going to develop and the more fat is going to be lost. In the process your weight may have some small fluctuations. It's normal. Just keep going as you're going and you'll be just fine. :)

I have lost inches and clothing is getting bigger. I have gained weight BUT also power, walking in sand and on stairs are much easier. All over I just feel stronger and more flexible. That certainly counts too.
Weigh in is tomorrow and I am fine with it now, thank you for helping Mandy.

I'm not surprised you've lost inches love. You are never still with all this exercising! WELL DONE YOU! You are an inspiration to everyone.
Ps: Forgot to say: Don't get despondent if the weight loss slows up. It isn't at all. As you are exercising, your muscles are getting bigger and stronger and consequently will weigh a bit more. Go by your waistband and inches off. Also, if we lost weight week after week without our skin having time to catch up, we'd have to gather up the slack skin and tie it in a knot on top of our heads wouldn't we!

I think these things count tremendously! Great job. Keep up your efforts, as it is obviously paying dividends.

Thank you Dumpy, I get funny images on the retina regarding a bun loose skin; ha-ha

Don, it is so nice noticing the improvement day by day, I hardly get out of breath on the stairs anymore and if I do then I catch the breath back in no time. A month ago I would wait outside the door for a minute because I was to embarrased to let them see my poor physical condition.

Just been trying on the pants from Sunday and they are slightly looser today :willy_nilly:

Exercise of today: 11 km biking and I will get on the floor and do my 20 min yoga as soon as I finish this post. That's not good enough, but these days are full of children and a nasty deadline. 1500 Calories, just ate my last 250 ones as a delicious fruit salad :hurray:

Weigh in is in the morning, whatever the verdict, pants overrule.

Well, weight says 142,4 exactly the same as last Wednesday. It got as high as 143,7 Saturday and I never thought it could get down to that again, quite happy.

Great job on your weight! Keep up the good work. You'll be seeing and feeling many more improvements over time! :)

Thanks blues and Mandy.
10 km biking today, I really miss my "real" exercise. At least I am going swimming tomorrow. My bathing suit is actually starting to get too big, the shoulder strop can't stay up. Have two more in the next two sizes, looking forward to fit into them.

Oh, you just reminded me that I should get a new bathing suit for myself. I haven't tried on the one I have, but I know it'll be way to big now. Isn't that such an awesome feeling? :)

Thanks blues and Mandy.

I'm jealous. I have a bikini I still can't fit in! Keep at it with the exercise and before you know it you will be fitting into the new bikini. :D
