First of May – My New Way

Oh, fell in last night and ate what was left of my vegan cream cheese. lots of cals, probably 500...

was walking 30 min this morning in the open park and beach area trying to make up for it a little. It was beautiful, frozen dew covered everything and the big stones in the wter were so white that they were almost gloving in the dark:blush5:
 
I just wanted to pop in and say, though I haven't gone through you whole diary I love that you are eating a proper calorie amount! So many girls (and guys) go to lose weight and eat 1000 cals a day, and not only is it bad for them, but I feel so sorry for them! Living your life on celery and half a boiled chicken breast is no way to live!

I try to think of it as I'm not just eliminating fat from my body, but removing unhealthy habits from my life. And I am affraid of causing illnesses that occur because a lack in fats, proteins, minerals or vitamins. Especially because I can't eat dairy and therefore already am a little challenged in getting calcium, D vitamin and iodine enough.
One have to eat enough, and healthy, to cover body's longterm needs. Besides I do not combine being hungry 16 hours a day with life quality. Eating 1500/1600 cals a day effectively keeps my hunger away 95% of time.

yesterday got cancelled and I went to a café with some other students and had fries with loads of chilimayo..
 
You have such a great attitude about losing weight. It really is about making a lifestyle change. Too many people just want the change to happen now and don’t realize they’re doing themselves no favors by losing to fast unhealthily.

Easing back into the game, second day with cal control. Very busy week with almost non existing exercise possibilities.

Morning: blueberry soy yoghurt with quinoa and a soy latte 320.
Snack: 2 carrots 40.
Lunch: quinoa with rucola, almonds, onion, cucumber, romaine, chili, semi dried tomatoes and mustard vinegar dressing 400, a pear 45, a banana 60.
Snack: peanuts and black grapes 200.
Dinner: chicken/rice curry 600.
Total: 1665
 
Morning: blueberry soy yoghurt with quinoa and soy latte 350.
Snack: soy latte 30.
Lunch: buckwheat bread with shrimps and mayo 400.
Snack: 2 apples 100, blueberry soy yoghurt 150, peanuts 150.
Dinner: vegan curry 350, fried spring onions 150.
Total: 1680
 
Haven't lost any this week. Haven't gained either at least. Busy week with no time for exercise and no time to stop and get my mind together either. Have had so many appointments, work and children stuff to do that there have been very little time to sleep. Awful stress head ache all week, TOM is killing me too and I have done laundry half the night. Hopefully next week will be better.
Have changed fitness center, to a FC that cost 20% of my current one and it has showers! It is connected to my school and work area. Just waiting for my access card to arrive in a week or two.
 
Spent this week with sore throat and feeling awfully tired. Today I've had an nasty migraine which lasted until dinner time, now I cannot sleep due to a fever. Have been eating bad for two days, but hardly been able to eat anything today. Baah.
 
Still around, have had diarreah for three days now, but there are signs of improvement now.. Cannot wait to stop feeling tired, dizzy and stagnated!
 
Yes I lost weight, and keeping a fever up is calorie consuming. I had a blast getting lighter. Or not. Today is first day of feeling better for real. Stomach is still a bit down, it takes a while to recover when having gluten allergy - and not being able to eat the dairy things that improve the digestion either. Eating vegan and some soy yoghurt which has a little bit of those bacterias for the stomach.
 
Hi Clarissa! I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. I'm vegan too and I found that there are vegan probiotics in capsules that work pretty well. You actually get a lot more active culture than through yoghurt. I'm not sure about Denmark, but in the US we have PB8 which has 8 different strains of gut friendly bacteria that I like.
 
This is embarassing so I just jump in to posting again.
Trying to get back to a healthy way of living. Have gained 4 pounds in those about 6 weeks I've been missing.
Just had a 2 week exam at school, horrible eating and exercise has become a stranger. :(
Started yesterday, went surprisingly well - untill I decided to eat two pints of sorbet at night time..
Today a 1600 cal diet.
Morning: gram flour bread with cold potato slices and mayo, a wholegrain cracker with mackerel + soy latte 300
Snack: %
Lunch: cauliflower soup with gram flour bread 400
Snack: candy and grapes 250
Dinner: 2 chicken legs with rice, iceberg salad, red onions, carrot sticks and radishes 630
Total: 1580.

For some odd reason I have lost one inch hip area and one inch waist but gained 4.5 pounds and 1+ inch on thighs...

Have had THE WORST HEAD ACHE all day, probably detoxing from all the sugar I've been eating.
Easter holiday, have been biking 7 km with the kids. Exercise was not possible.

Lunch: aspargus soup and gram flour bread 300

Went to the hospital and tried on my uniform today, haven't worn it since late January and feared it would be way to tight - it wasn't, it was slightly bigger than I remember!?!
Am so relieved, I need it for the next ten weeks. Walking/working around at the hospital all day for ten weeks will hopefully help me burn some calories.
 
Yesterday was a fantastic day, spent it with the boy at a geological center with work shops, last we where there in October they had crocodile eggs hatching, yesterday we saw the baby crocs and it was possible to make a foam baby croc to bring home and to see 15 different kinds of eggs and guess which animal who had laid them. Very funny for the boy. Took a few pics that I will post.
