First of May – My New Way

Not sore at all today, guess I have to add more weight on them machines.
Had to cancel today's swimming, the charming fella aka the kids' father has once again broken our aggreement and brought them to the doorstep hours early just to avoid making them lunch and rub them in sun lotion! - Yes he is that lazy...
Today our 2 week vacation starts and that will make it a little harder getting exercise done 'cause I have to have a sitter every day when working out. Vacation is nice too, relaxing without much commitment. Cannot wait going to the beach!

We have popular cake here called dream cake, could have been nice eating hearts and that cake for cardio and sweet dreams afterwards. Would have me fit and healthy in no time LOL

Hey read through some of your diary. How old are your children? I've got 3 under 3. Hard work finding time to exercise!!
You have done well. Congrats

They are 3, 4 and 5 now, and I can tell you that it gets a lot easier when the youngest quits the lunch nap and you don't feel as limited.
My youngest has a condition with her joints and she was 2 before she could walk and didn't need her daily massages and workouts anymore, she LIVED on my arm.
Small children are a lot of work, I admire you are doing a weight loss!

Good luck with the hubby and kids, it sounds rough and it's sad that your hub didn't step-up to let you do what you needed to do. :(

Thanks for stopping by Fox, my X-husband is all about himself and acts like he has saved the world, doing the smallest favour so I would never ask him anything.

I went missing for a couple of days, things have been hectic. My father got very ill and we thought he was on the way to kidney failure, have been sick from worry for days and not managed to do either exercise or caloriecounting (or had the possibility to get a 'sitter). At the same time I had to throw the boy a birthday party (cried all morning when making the cakes and draging the chairs up the appartment and when people left I tucked the kids in and ate most the leftovers, just great Clarissa..) Well yesterday morning the doc said that he believed it was a bad infection and not lifethreathening, and that my father was recovering (he is still to weak to get out of bed though) but the message made me snap out of the cloudyness and I got back to my diet (1500 vegan cals, 3,5 litres of water and 30 min bikeride + lots of cleaning from the past days and the party). Weight this morning said 137,7 (303 lbs blaah)

Well spent the past two hours at the gym and gave it all (saved a little energy for gardening later ;))

Today at gym:
30 min treadmill 5% gradient 4,8 km/h
3x8 adductor 35 kg
3x8 abductor 45 kg
3x8 pull down 40 kg
3x8 low row 30 kg
3x8 chest press 20 kg
3x5 shoulder press 5 kg
3x8 leg extention had to pass on it, couldn't make it work today
3x8 leg press 70 kg
3x8 total abdominal 25 kg
3x8 lower back 55 kg
5x10 sit ups
30 min treadmill 5% gradient 4,5 km/h

Thanks for checking in on me the past days :grouphug:

Yep.
Today I am a little sore in most of the muscles I used yesterday and I can feel in my hip area that I walked with a 5% gradient and not a flat one - or just outdoor.
Funny thing, this morning I noticed that walking that treadmill did not create a rub burn on my foot as outdoor walking is prone to do - and walking the same 5 km in gym ( 5% gradient ..) feels like 2-3 times the workout as my normal 5 km route. It's a timesaver with lots of other benefits.
Now off to my 5 km outdoor's route, while the washer is doing my clothing and a stop at the supermarket on the way home.
/Clarissa back in the mojo

I shortened the walk a little, with 1 km, my inner thighs ache a little and make me feel like an elderly LOL.
Oh well, a little fruit and off to the swim bath.

Just had a great 2 km swim! Today I did 58 lanes in one hour, when I started swimming two months ago I did 45. Stamina increased a lot too.
Starting to feel my vacation, nice being able to focus on my lifechange and shut down the work related stuff in my brain.

Morning: a wholegrain bun with low fat turkey salami, a tomato, radishes and cucumber, a vegan café au lait 250.
Snack: banana and avocado 150.
Lunch: vegan protein shake 200, hummus, radishes and avocado 200.
Snack: peanutbutter, crackers and strawberries 350.
Dinner: chicken 150, veggies 100, hummus 100 - and a handful of French fries oops
Total: around 1600
Fluids: 1,2 l water, 0,75 l coke zero.
One of the girls keeps puking and I keep cleaning after it, ordered some French fries along with an other delivery. I cooked chicken breast and made a plate of raw veggies to go with the fries - and had a handful of them myself, they were too hard to resist *embarrassed*

God! I haven't lost any weight in three days despite the fact that I have been sticking to my diet, drinking loads of water and been working out more and more vigously than ever.
However I have lost a little more than half an inch on both thigh and hip and now I'm not bloathed anymore from the birthday eatings I am down to my lowest meassurement again around the waist.
Just carry on weight must drop below 135,6/299 one of these days! :)
Have a good day ppl, I will hit the gym and do my 2 hour program from Tuesday in a couple of hours when the childrens' father picks them up.
