First of May – My New Way

Hi Nostalgic, thanks!
Weigh in just happened, and I am 136,6/301,2
which means that I lost 1,1 kg in 6 days.
An important and very motivating minigoal to me is dropping exactly 1 kg which will get me out of the 300's, which besides the 200's will be the only two times I will look at the pound scale.
Will post my minigoals here soon.

Hope to crush those 300's one of these days - and never see them again.
Today: 2 km swimming, 10 km outdoor biking
*
Morning: millet porridge with apple, banana and cinnamon, café au lait 322.
Snack: an apple 60, protein shake 150.
Lunch: hummus and radishes 100, cauliflower soup and corn cakes 300.
Snack: corn cakes 280.
Dinner: watermelon 120, gluten free bran flakes with raisins and soy milk 300.
Total: 1622.
Fluids: 2,3 l water

Push on through those 300s....then knock off a couple more quickly if you can to avoid the dreaded water weight bounce back.

Going to make a morning post about nothing, yesterday I had a hard time staying away from eating stuff I shouldn't eat. I stayed at home, but all I wanted was to go to a store and pick up bad food choices. It happens if my blood sugar level gets too low. If my exercise get pushed too far away from main meal, as it did yesterday, it happens.
I ended up eating 4 apples and going to bed early. No harm done and measurements are terrific today.
But still. Thinking about cutting down on fruits and see if it can make my blood sugar more stabile.
Task: Maximum two fruits/200 cals a day rest of this week.

Do you have general problems with blood sugar levels?
Did you eat badly or the 4 apples were bad?

Sorry there are so many pages in your diary I think I've missed a few things.

Yes, it has been low since I was around 19y and a side effect to having gluten allergy is also the risk of getting low blood sugar.
However slow carbs and cardio help keeping it where it should be, it was me making a bad decision yesterday about just having a shake and not some wholegrain or beans before going swimming.
Had a motivational boost this morning from not giving in to eating!

Just came home from the gym, best workout so far, each time everything gets a little easier and I have added a disc to most machines and I've started a little interval training of a couple of minutes with higher speed on the treadmill.
Today I got my puls measured.
Resting puls: 64
avr puls at 4,5 km/h with 5% incline: 144
avr. Puls at 4,8 km/h with 5% incline: 165
not quite sure what it means.

Your doing well to manage your goals with watching your blood sugar as well.
4 apples over your calorie limit is better than a pack of crisps over :)
You're doing great and adding a disc to each machine is a positive. :)

Think posting nothing in one's diary also helps on the slimming journey.
It was a physical crave and not a mental one that made it much easier. But honestly I suprised myself a bit, also turned down wine gums today at my mother's.
I asked myself, yesterday, :do you want to work off a lump of your own fat (and get smaller) or work off the steak and ice cream you could go buy, tomorrow on the threadmill.
*
Morning: a wholegrain bun with liver paté and honey, cucumber and watermelon + vegan café au lait 360.
Snack: vegan protein shake 140.
Lunch: a wholegrain bun with hummus and pumpkin seeds, a tomato and 2 carrots 300.
Snack: crackers with vegan cream cheese 200, watermelon 50.
Dinner: a nice pot of hearts of chicken, leek, mushroom mix and green pepper bells in a can of cherry tomatoes + boiled potatoes and garden salad 500.
Total: 1550
Fluids: 2,5 l water, 0,5 l pepsi max, 0,25 club soda
-Misted my fruit task by 50 cals, visited my mother to give her dog a trim/hair cut and she served me some watermelon (had three small wedges).

Thanks Mr. V, I'll be there tomorrow or Friday. Today weight says 136,2 which according to my converter is 300.27 lbs.

Just wanted to say hi and good luck getting under 300!

asked myself, yesterday, :do you want to work off a lump of your own fat (and get smaller) or work off the steak and ice cream you could go buy, tomorrow on the threadmill.

I love that! I need to think of that myself when I get like that too!

Soo close yes, I have been swimming 2 km, biking 10 km and doing my stretching in a sauna.
I have also picked up two new workout DVDs at the library that I probably will do a couple of bits from later - and I WILL eat a maximum of 1500 cals today and soak myself in water on the inside.
The rest will be up to body, ha-ha.
