Soooo weekend may have been a little iffy. Saturday I did really well, until I saw that Bevmo was having their wine sale where you buy one, get the second bottle for 5 cents, and found myself with two very nice bottles of riesling to accompany me home. I tried to go easy on the wine, but when I found myself dancing around the living room singing random motown songs at the top of my lungs, I thought to myself hmmm maybe I overdid it on the wine a touch.
Today, went a little worse. My boyfriend and I had a seriously massive fight over absolutely nothing that turned into a huge something. It was emotional and exhausting and long story short, pizza was consumed. Everything's fine now, it was just a dumb stress-induced fight, and the pizza was manageable enough that I can work it off today. So Insanity cardio and a C25K run is on my calendar for the day.
For now I'm off to the craft store as we are only 32 hours and counting until Valentine's day. Usually I bake my bf something, last year it was personalized fortune cookies dipped in chocolate, the year before that a brown sugar hazelnut cake with blackberry filling and blackberry buttercream... uh yeah... can't be pulling that again this year so I'm gonna get all zero-calorie crafty. Have you ever seen floating lanterns? They work like little hot air balloons, think Thailand or the movie Tangled:
I think these are sooo cool and you can make them pretty easily (out of biodegradable materials!). When you release them you are supposed to make a wish because the sight of the lanterns signifies new beginnings and good luck, so I think I am going to make 6 of them - one for every Valentine's Day we've had together - and we can send them off together from the back yard. I think it'll be really pretty and fun. I hope 1. that it works and 2. that my bf thinks it's as cool as I do.
Sorry if this post is a little... meh. That dumb fight kinda took it out of me today.
Day 22 - Quick! What are the 5 things you like best about yourself?
1. My hair, lol I think I have good hair
2. I'm usually pretty good at making others laugh.
3. I stay calm in a crisis or emotionally tense situations.
uhhh, ummm, hmmm...
4. I think I'm pretty empathetic and able to be considerate of others.
5. I can kick anyone's butt from here to Tuesday in any word game on the planet
Munch: Haha, I know exactly what you mean. I moved out to go to school when I was 17, so I have not lived at home for a long time, but whenever I go back, it only take about 4 or 5 days before I am climbing the walls! Love, love my mother to death.. but, jeez the woman can drive me nuts!!

Oh especially with the wedding, well at least she is hands on and wants to help
Hope you got that run in, feel better Munch!
Irish: Thanks Irish!! Small weekend setbacks, but no big, still feeling like I'm back!
Kate: I've still got the excitement even with the wine and the ahem (cough) pizza (cough)... moving on.... it won't hold me back!! hehehe laughed so hard at your "biscuit" explanation!!!
Size32: Hey!

Thanks! And thanks for stopping by! Wow our weights are really close and we have almost the same goal weight! I'll have to be swinging by your thread to check up on ya!
Crym! or I guess, Sarah!! So glad you are back, I was worried you were gone!! I'll give some thought to modeling it, we'll seeeee, maybe I will just because I don't own anything cashmere and I wanna show it off!!
I know what you mean about the mom situation, my mom and I live on totally opposite coasts of the US, so I don't get to see her except maybe once or twice a year. So good when I do though!! Glad to see you're still around!!
