Still feels pathetic, but I couldn't have done more safely. Being excessively careful and playing each session by ear. Deadlifts will be horrible for a while but that's the cost of stupidity.
I did the bar alone and it felt like I could go more. I was going to try 30kg, but thought I would see how 40 felt on my shoulders and attempt it if OK. Obviously it was OK.
Today's run will be lousy too, I can feel I have gone to my limits so will be slow. A few steps in and this will be forgotten of course
