Diary - Part 2

Did day 9 of shred on saturday. Nothing on sun and today. Have to exercise rest of the week now to catch up.
Lost 2.25lbs this week. Total lost since started 30ds = 5.25lbs.
 
Just read all of your posts in this thread. First of all, happy belated birthday! Sorry I hadn't read sooner to wish you one on your birthday! Secondly, I really admire your dedication. It has to be challenging to get your exercise in along with proper nutrition when you're taking care of 3 young ones! You're a very strong and determined lady! Last of all, if you make those protein bars, please let me know how they come and which recipe you use. Been thinking of trying to make my own. The store bought ones just haven't been doing it for me.

I have ordered the ingredients for the bars. Should come today. So excited. :). Will try to make them tomorrow. Hope they're nice.
 
Haven't been posting my intake recently. Have been staying under or meeting my limit. So nothing to note yet.
Exercise today = last day of level 1 of 30ds with 5lb/2.3kg dumbbells (progress :))
 
Started c25k today. I managed to misread the program so instead of 90sec walk 60sec run i did the opposite which meant by the end of the 25mins i had ran 12mins instead of 8.
Treadmill read: 240cals burnt(estimate i'm sure) 2 miles ran/walked.

Tomorrow is day 1 lvl 2 shred. On Friday i will do the program for week 2 of c25k as i didn't find running for 90secs a problem which is needed for week2 but don't think i could do 3mins as needed in week3.
 
Stats after finishing 10days of level 1 of shred

Days = 15 (5rest)
Weight = 162.5 (-5.75)
Chest = 39 (-1)
Waist = 31.5 (-2)
Hips = 41.5 (-1)

Haha Benny . That is an old picture from 2007. It was my aim then. Could still be my aim but i'm more into fitness this time round than size. Of course being smaller is a bonus :)
 
It's great you could start on week 2! I don't think I could run for 90 seconds right now, haha.
 
Sounds like you're making some fantastic progress! You're way of thinking is similar to mine. I really don't care what size I am, I just want to be at a healthy way and I want to feel healthy. The being smaller *is* just an added bonus. :)

Thank you. I think that way of thinking is most likely to keep me exercising for many years to come. I don't want to stop once i hit a number on the scale.
 
Did day 1 of level 2 of 30ds with 2.3kg dumbbells. Not a good idea. The workout is already tougher than level 1 so i found i was really slow trying to concentrate on keeping my form right. I need to get used to the moves first and then opt for the heavier weights. Tomorrow is c25k day. So Saturday i will use the 1.1 kg weights and keep to that for a few days.
 
I always find it better to go lighter and slower the first time or few that you do a new dvd/exercise just to make sure you don't injure yourself!! If you injure yourself, then you're really hooped! I did that when I was doing P90X in the past. Tried pushing too hard and I hurt my shoulder.... do you know how much upper body stuff there is in there? Yeah, I learned from that mistake for sure!
