Diary - Part 2

She would prepare meals like a shepards pie with vegeie in it and freeze portions so that if she needed to eat in a hurry she had healthy homemade meals that just need to be zapped in the microwave.
Just finding the one time in the week to prepar all this but then was set for the rest of the week.

I remember doing this after my second was born. Can't believe i forgot. Had the same issue then with food. I shall attempt doing this soon one day when hubby's at home. Thank you :)

I have replaced mayo with mustard on my sandwiches and such. I miss it a bit but I got this spicy mustard that's pretty good.

Yesterday
Calories: 1450 /1650
Water: 3 litres
Exercise: rest day

Aim for today is to buy a replacement treadmill power cord so I can start C25k.

:grouphug: Thank you all for the advice.

Just did day 8 of the shred. Used 2.3kg(5lb) weights for circuit 2(dumbbell rows and bicep curls). Still using 1.1kg(2lb) for the rest. Progress :). 2 more days left on this level. I do feel i am ready to move on to the next workout now. Watched it through once. Think i can manage it... i hope :p

Have a fabulous friday!

Also had a bit of the hubby's protein shake. 34g to 150cals. Never been great with getting enough protein in my diet so hope this helps. Taste is not brilliant but something i can get used to. This one is vanilla. Think i would prefer chocolate :p. Or i will have to make protein bars out of it.

It's so great advancing to another level isn't it. Hope you get the power cord soon. Have a great weekend!

Day 8, nice, my DVD arrived and can't wait to start it in a month or two.
Two more then level two. Let me know what that is like.

I've never tried protein shakes, but chocolate does sound better than vanilla :p

Oeh nice work with the 5 lbs dumbbells.
Getting ready to move on with level 2 myself. level 1 just once more.
Kind of curious to see what level 2 is gonna be like.

Just realised today marks 2 months on this weight loss.

Month 1 loss = 13lbs
Month 2 loss = 13lbs
Total loss = 26lbs

Now only if i can keep that up for the next 2 months :p

Breastfeeding helps a ton! You burn like 500 calories a day if you are breastfeeding a lot (and I am)... so yay!!!

Nostalgic - The first bit of breastfeeding is the hard part. Once you get past that it's so great. It's a great time with the baby and it's sooooo easy! It's always there, always ready and it's free! Plus it helps you burn great calories. For me, the first month is the hardest. With my second baby, I had a huge crack in the left nipple from a bad latch, so that took 3 months for it to stop being super painful. But the right side was fine after 3.5 weeks. Now the baby is 8 months and I'm so glad I didn't quit. So just give it your best :) Oh and in the beginning babies tend to cluster feed or feed A LOT and people think they don't have enough milk, but the baby is doing that to help up the supply. So just make sure you eat enough calories and drink enough water :) You can totally do it!

I wish I drank as much water as you! I'm lucky if I remember to drink more than a few glasses!

It does help, hoping this time round I will manage for more than a week.

Aww good luck. I found the first 6 weeks tough each time, but like risty said it does get easier the more you do it. Helps if you have a lot of support. I found some days i didn't get away from baby all day.

I got into the habit many years ago. Started with 2 litres. Now it's easy. Getting into the habit is tough especially if you don't drink any like i used to. But with breastfeeding it is a lot easier. I am thirsty all the time!
