Down another pound
So today the scale said
150.5! Yesterday it was
151.5; and the 19th it was
153.5! On January 10th is was
156.5!
That's what I like about raw food, the effectiveness of weight loss is astounding! Defying the laws of thermodynamics! Now, many of you might think

and we'll see, you all might have theories as to how this happened. I'll listen, because I'm not certain myself, but I've lost a half an inch to an inch on every large part of my body from the last time I measured and I think I was about
156 or so. But honestly, in late December and the first 2 weeks of January I was a stable 156-157 lbs (although maybe more bloated during Party Times, Excellent) so it's not like I was 153 and shot up temporarily than am dehydrated.....at least I don't think so, but we'll see. Either way, I'll tell you what: I'll keep it up. If I keep losing and the downward trend continues, I'll show you my deficits and compare them to the pounds lost and we can see for ourselves.
I'm still using Excel to track my calories, exercise, weight, and Cycle. I have a file marked by the month, with 5 tabs; 4 of which say "week 1" or "week 2" and such, and one tab that says "exercise". I've been diligently tracking since January 5th (I wanted to start December 26th like last year but failed over and over again until January 5th I finally managed a deficit. And from there I tracked everything.
My skin and hair look kind of glowy, the fat from my face is disintegrating, my teeth are whiter without brushing more, and strangers have been complimenting me, saying I look good. I FEEL good and I feel like I look good, too. The fat from my body is disappearing quickly and I can see more lean muscle definition. I'm still able to maintain my workouts; granted, the first 3 days I was raw I was more tired. The strength training is keeping me firm and the cardio is, of course, always good.
Raw food is about abundance, about eating as much as you want. But what you can eat is limited. Still, there are plenty of options. Here's what I ate yesterday:
Yesterday's Food:
FOOD: CALS
raw cereal & agave 370
1 oz raw cheddar 110
chocolate 110
apple & raw almond 260
butter
Guava Kombucha 80
2 oz raw cheese 220
3 raw crackers 150
½ avocado 140
1 mango 90
1 banana 100
Raspberry Kombucha 70
2 oz raw cheese 200
4 oz red wine 120
4 oz mixed wine 120
bite non-raw cheese 30
Actual Cumulative Calories:
2170
Exercise: 1 hour strength training
(-300 calories)
Net calories:
1870
So it's not like it was a particularly low calorie day (I had actually kind of skipped dinner because I wasn't really hungry, and my friend and I went to a wine bar--even though I had a large chunk of raw ahi at my disposal). By the way, WINE IS RAW. Never gets above 118 degrees; hell, not even really 110 degrees.
