Couch POTATO to "MARATHON" HONEY! :)

...going to do SOME tourist stuff, getting to know more, and then yesssss, drinking....my HUMPS I hope you ladies can come.....CALL ME K! ;)

I'm definitely coming up tonight one way or another. My "engine coolant" warning light came on today on the way to work so I am trying to get ahold of the VW Dealership to see if its anything to worry about or if I can drive to SF anyway. I have a service appointment on Monday but need to make sure I don't blow up my engine if I chance driving it to SF tonight. LOL

The car only 1 year and 4 mos old and I had a 20,000 mile service not too long ago...so I am surprised this warning light came on. I read my user manual and it said it is one of two things. 1) my coolant fluid levels are low or 2) my engine is too hot and I need to stop the car, turn the engine off, and let it cool down.

I think I will know when I get back in if it is fluid level related. Cuz if the light comes on right away clearly the engine isn't hot. Dunno about this car business...i thought newer cars should have such issues!!
 
Wow, so you guys are meeting up in San Fran?! How far is that from you LLH? OMG I am so jealous, your description of SF really reminds me of my visit there when I was 10 years old (30 years ago now). I remember it so vividly. An absolutely beautiful unique place. Where are you staying? Can't wait to hear more!
 
My boyfriend and I just planned a trip last night that includes San Francisco. We'll only be there a day, but I figure thats enough time to see this sights. I'll be there in early September. What are the things we should definitely see and do?

Ohhhh WOW....You should definitely ask MISS JELLY BELLY...she used to live there for years, but there is the PIER 39, Alcatraz, some Awesome view points, Haight town, where you can bar hop and shop, and there are OTHER things too....but MISS JELLY belly knows better than I DO!! :)

...but it is AMAZING there and the hills and the VIEWS, and how each and every single home is SO UNIQUE, is PERPLEXING!!! IN La, everything looks boring NO real hills all over, and everything looks boring and the same, and BLAH!!! BUT......all the studios are out here, which is WHY IT IS SO BIG around here....the HOPE of getting ON TV.....LOL!!!

I'm in SF a few days a week, I love the cool weather and the fog. It's such a nice relief from the heat.

I love pier 39 and Fishermans Warf, for walking/people watching/shopping/dining/and attractions.

Alcatraz is fun too, but takes a few hours, not sure how much time you have. It's a nice walk around the premises and the jail is old and creepy.

Chinatown is also very interesting and unique to visit and shop in.

Golden Gate Bridge has some nice views, but its extremely windy and often really cold when you cross it. I tried once to cross it, turned back 1/4 of the way in.

I found a few links with some of the best spots for you to look over. Depending on when you are coming, there are often festivals going on in the summer too that are really fun.

LOL! One of my friends moved to LA to make it, they are still bar tending waiting to be discovered.

So funny how this person lies about their age too, so they won't get discriminated against in the world of film, youth, and beauty. I swear this person has been 29 for 6 years now. lol

I'm glad you got to run around the streets of SF. There is so much to look at, and so many slopes. Good for you!!!

OKAY......SO RECAP:

...I was HORRIBLE this past weekend, TONS of DRINKING, tons of HAPPY hours, Tons of chocolate M&Msss...LOL....salty foods, and BLAH...oh WELL! I had FUN!

San Francisco was GREAT, and the TWINS, were MORE BEAUTIFUL & STUPENDOUS in REAL life than I COULD ever EXPLAIN!!! BUT all in all....they are HILARIOUS, BEAUTIFUL, SWEET, OUTGOING, and EVERYTHING you could IMAGINE.......:iagree: I only WISH I had more time to spend with them.....

...I'm GLAD that VEGAS will be A LOT of time with everyone, and SOLO too....as I did notice how my bf did get uncomfortable with the FACT that HIS SISTER is a LESBIAN (which doesn't bother me one bit) BUT it does HIM......:angelsad2:...probably one of the REASONS she lives in SAN FRANCISCO....too...because she can BE FREE out there...I think he was JUST HOPING to NOT SEE such displays of AFFECTION though...BUT HEY...."LIVE WITH IT":coolgleamA:

BUT all in all....OUR TRIP was AMAZING, and on SAT...we drove along the COAST and had many stops, and FOUND him to be acting himself again.....hahha.....BUT the TRIP was amazing, and I LOVE the DRIVE:auto:...so RELAXING...!!!

.....I CAN NOT TELL you all WHAT "SEEING" the TWINS in the "FLESH" did for my MOTIVATION..!!!! :iagree: I feel the SUCCESS coming ALREADY, and I SOOOOO DON"T want to LET them DOWN now, as THEY HAVE seen me in THE WORKS as I am NOW ;)........sooooo I AM now....MORE AWARE than EVER....that WE ARE "REALLLLLL"...as funny as THAT SOUNDS....but IT IS TRUE....I AM MOTIVATED.....and WILL ARRIVE TO MY GOAL of SMASHING these POUNDS....and I WILL tell YOU all HOW MUCH I realized that I LOVE running and I MISSED IT....I'm BACK on the RUNNING train, and I WANT it more than EVER NOW....there is a 1/2 marathon coming in FEBRUARY, but HONESTLY I want a SOONER one, so GOOGLE again it is.....:sifone:

....I have NOW decided to GO EASIER on myself, yet HARDER at the same time,.....meaning MORE WORKOUT.....daily HOPEFULLY, yet LESS expectations, and MORE HAPPINESS.....I am sick of setting myself UP for failure, with expecting too much, so IF 1lb a week COMES off BY VEGAS that will be 14lbs more.......:party:.......

What ELSE is LIFE about if it isn't ABOUT taking STEPS towards YOUR GOAL!!!?!?!?

Soooo I am FINALLY "REALLY" ready to take the STEPS to get to the PLACE I want to be....I really HAD a lot of time to think these COUPLE days, and GAVE it a GOLD HEART THOUGHT to WHYYYYY I haven't FINISHED a lot of the THINGS I set out to do........and I REALIZED..........that basically, I ALWAYS want the END RESULT of ACCOMPLISHMENT without the HARD WORKING STEPS to get THERE......:ack2:............:iamwithstupid:

....but I have HAD some ENLIGHTENING conversations this PAST WEEKEND....which HAS made me REALIZE a lot about myself that I WASN"T aware of.....which HAS made me FEEL more GROUNDED in THE REALIZATION that things do NOT come WITHOUT the STEPS, WITHOUT the WORK, and WITHOUT putting in the TIME......

...I noticed that ONE of the MAIN reasons I give UP soon, or sooner than I would like, is BECAUSE I put TIME restrictions on MYSELF. THEN, when these GOALS that WERE SUPPOSED to have been ACCOMPLISHED by that time, aren't or aren't even CLOSE, I feel DISAPPOINTED and STOP ALL steps in the RIGHT DIRECTION, the DIRECTION closer to my GOAL.......

..I noticed that ANOTHER REASON as to WHY I give up SOONER than wanted as WELL, is BECAUSE I don't LOVE myself and CONGRATULATE myself for the LITTLE baby ACCOMPLISHMENTS, whether it be: RUN for 15 seconds more than b4, understand ONE more Paragraph from these LAW courses that I am taking for my Paralegal studies, whether it be GETTING up ON TIME, whether it BE DRINKING my VITAMINS on TIME.......BASICALLY......every LITTLE STEP!

....I asked MYSELF....why is it that I EXPECT so much in SO LITTLE time..? WHO CARES if I DON"T DO it in the ALLOTED time I placed for MYSELF, who is JUDGING me OTHER than ME, WHAT else DO I HAVE TO DO, why am I JUST going to LAY ON THE FLOOR HELPLESS when I FALL,.....:iamwithstupid:!!!!!

....the SOLUTION.....STOP putting TIME restrictions ON MYSELF, and CONTINUE EACH and EVERY STEP and CONGRATULATE myself, because EACH STEP no matter HOW MUCH time is TAKEN on EACH step, is A STEP "CLOSER" to my "DESTINATION, my GOAL",and I WILL make it AS LONG as I KEEP GETTING UP WHEN I FALL, KEEP reading WHEN I DON'T understand, KEEP MOVING, when I DO NOT WANT to, and LOVE ME for WHO I AM TODAY, NOW!!!!!!!........:beating:

...THIS morning I WOKE up EARLY by MISTAKE....and TOOK advantage......

EXERCISE this MORNING: 30 min. INTERVAL weights @ GYM
15 min. INTERVAL abs workouts-I am SORE already-@ GYM
30 min-SAUNA-YOGA moves in there/ab REPS ;)-@ GYM
15 min. STRETCHING-@ GYM

FOOD TODAY: Shakes, TEA, Boiled Egg Whites, Water, Vitamins, Chicken Tenders with Lemon,....no SALT, no SUGARs today.....OBVIOUSLY some food had SODIUM no matter what YOU do.....adding about 3 shakes, egg whites, and the chicken tenders....I am at about 850-870mg of sodium for the day, no sugar....

3 shakes @ 240gm of sodium=720 grms
3 tenders @ 55grm x 2= 110 grms
4 egg whites-10gms each@ assuming around 10grms=40grms
-----870 around there----

You went hardcore!! last night and this morning :) I am so proud!

That means I have to go! Today I want to do 1 hour step aerobics class stretch in between and then go to the 1 hour body works weight class.

I have only done this once before and nearly died so we will see how it goes!
