ummm, can you do situps? pushups? those doesn't require any walking or carrying. you can also just lie in bed and clench all the muscles in your body, hold for a time, release, repeat. i'm pretty sure that would help a little bit. i hope the leg is ok soon. take care and good luck
 
hey girl =) I hope that you really do post everything that you are eating... and you NEVER have to worry about "pleasing" us - this is totally for you and I think that you will find it is very helpful. I'll check in and see if you are really posting it all - we love you no matter what you eat! and only want to help you do what you think is best for you =) I also think that just being honest about the food will help you get underneath the food to the emotional issues, like you are starting to do in your other blog.

When I started with my journal, I was so grateful for the opportunity to post everything, b/c it allowed others to comment and set me on the right path - even while I thought I was eating well, I wasn't eating the right kinds of things... being totally honest on this forum has kept me accountable =)

I wish I had some advice for you as far as keeping in shape while you are still injured... maybe you could ask your doctor? or find out if there is a physical therapist you could talk to (check and see if there is a trainer at your high school - they probably have a ton of advice - when my brother broke his leg, the trainer showed him weight exercises he could do)
 
Hey sweetie.......I was wondering are making sure you get all your dairy needs in?...I saw yougart..and cheese. They say 3 serving of dairy a day helps in the aid of weight loss PLUS builds strong bones and teeth!

Alright, so overall today... I had all I planned plus some more fruit (150 calories more) and a handful of pretzels and pumpkin seeds.

So I'd say I ended up around 1400 calories

Thanks ladies, believe me, all the encouragement is the best thing you guys could do for me.

So I ate well today, but I didn't quite stick to the plan up there because I completely forgot about our band concert tonight. Plus, right when I got home from school, I fell asleep (Well I ate the 3 pm meal first) Then I didn't have time to make dinner before I had to go to the concert so I just had some yogurt.. oh well, it was a pretty good day but I can't seem to find time to drink the water... I always forget about it.

The only way I can suggest of getting water is to drink in the morning before school......during lunch.....then after school....and once you get home......is there away you can take a slim water bottle to school?....How bad is the drinking fountain water?....If it taste good maybe you can just fill it up from there. Are you allowed to drink water in class?
