running really low on food today so had to make do with what I had! It was tough lol..Going grocery shopping this weekend though the ice is melting! went out for dinner.. weekends are always hard. I would have been ok if i stuck with water but sweet tea is my favorite so I indulged :(

Oooooh :drool5: Mac and Cheese!!! I picked up my little brother today and he is here with me, and he had asked for Mac and cheese when we went to the market! Luckily I talked him into my points allowed Chesadilla ! I thought I would have been too tempted since it's a childhood favorite of my brother and I would cook it for him all the time! I could eat a whole box!! :beating:!

Good for you on controlling those portions! You are doing SO AMAZING, I wouldn't doubt that you hit 158 by the time Monday comes around! :iagree:! ...and Oh yes.. :blush5: you are snowed in!! hahah! Forgot, snatch!! :reddevil:!!

Not by Monday! that would be nuts.. but hopefully 158 by my birthday NEXT monday :) Id be happy with that.. what a nice present.. 150's!!!

Veggie challenge is on starting Tuesday! Still working on water and crunches now.. im sucking at the water one.. ive done the crunches everyday though :)
 
DAY 12

I BLEW IT TODAY!!! It was supposed to be my recovery day because I had been working out so hard. I was going to still eat the same or better but with no or a light workout. Not so much how it turned out..

I didn't get a workout in and I was out of the house during the day causing me to eat out and we had bar food for dinner since we were hosting friends for the big Falcons game.. which we ALSO BLEW really badly.. we looked like the bad news bears it was unbelievable!

I feel so guilty and mad at myself. I had been doing so well! I weighed today and it said 162.. same as last Monday.. it had been down to 160 the other day so I am disappointed.. I have 2 more days until weigh in so I am going to work hard to eat right and exercise hard. I would love to be 160 again like I thought I was going to! Damn fried food..

Its not even that i went over the calories that bad its the type of food i ate.. carbs, cheese, fried food, soda.. doing nothing for me..i actually felt so tired all day like i used to and now i know it was the food!

Today we are having a potluck kind of dinner with some friends.. but i am just going to eat what i make since I will know whats in it.. no offense to my friends! Ive got to get back on track.. I have eaten out 4 times in the last 3 days which is going to really haunt me at my weigh in! boooo

You have been doing SO GOOD!! Look at the positives of what you have done! The reality is that the foods you consumed are most likely not only filled with oil, but SALT. Salt is a huge water retainer. Just drink a lot of hot tea and tons of water and eat healthy and exercise! There has to be a balance or you won't stick to this your entire life. If you have friends over on the weekend, then PLAN to splurge that day... What's the problem with that?! ...Shit. You can even make your own HEALTHY bar food! Your own chicken wings, your own chesadilla, your own baked fries.. :)

I'm realizing now how good it feels to PLAN for a splurge. I've been waiting all week for this Sunday morning champagne brunch to happen!! It's TODAY! I sure as fuck have enough points for it though!! :reddevil: !!

You are FINEEEEE there with the one less healthy meal. Just work out, call it a splurge and focus on letting go of the salt and sugar accumulation from that and back DOWN on the scale you go!! I did my p90x yesterday LATE ass hell too! I almost didn't and then asked myself.."How important is this to you?" ....The answer: VERY! So pushing play it was...PRIORITY!!!

I think that's a great idea to not eat the other people's food other than what you make because that just shows your FOCUS!!! :smash: You are NOT PLAYING around this 2011!! If you were, you wouldn't be so upset about your mishap with the fries there! LOL!! Just WORK FOR IT!!!

That's a cool idea, keeping track of and motivating yourself with Biggest Loser. I know food is delicious and it is so hard to not just eat whatever you want D: Makes me wish I was 6 again, when calories didn't matter...

No need to feel guilty christen, we all have days that we don't do so good. I think just a week or two ago I ate a SUB yum!! This week I had no pork!! But sure do love them pork.....chops. If you goof up just pick yourself up continue to move forward.

Put on some music and do the "Zumba"!!!!

yeah i know a few bad days isnt the end of the world but I'm just mad because this is what happens every time I try to lose weight.. right when i see a little success i stop trying as hard and i dont want to give up again... soo back on the game tomorrow.. Monday is the start of a new week!
 
DAY 13

ok.. sunday..never good. this last week has been so crazy, like being on vacation. I am ready to get back into my routine to see what its really going to be like trying to lose weight. I am going to have to start preparing my meals and snacks ahead of time since I will be going back to work and also school this week after a few semesters off. Hopefully i can figure out a good plan for success.

Today we had some friends over for dinner which was nice.. I was still off my normal schedule so my food was weird.. none the less a new week is here! Ready to bring the workouts back tomorrow!

My weekends are never great either but I usually know this is going to be the case and workout harder during the week and on the weekend to combat it. Also lots of water Monday is a must! Maybe you should change your weigh-in date to Fridays? I'm hoping it works for me.

DAY 14

Thanks for all the support guys! It is really helping me stick to this knowing that I have your messages to look forward to when I get home! When I am feeling lazy and least expect it, I'll get a little push from one of my forum buddies!

This week will be a reality check.. I am going back to work and school this week and this has always been really hard for me. I always gain weight when I go back to school because I'm so tired I dont want to work out and also I will be gone for a majority of my days so I will have to take food with me so I dont go eat fast food on campus..I wish I had a fridge in my car! lol its going to be hard to pack breakfast, lunch and multiple snacks 4 days a week.. any suggestions on how to do this?

As for today.. i did ok..I went out for a late lunch so it filled me up for dinner too and i did manage to get a workout in although i wasnt impressed with the class I went to! I had to make it my own :)

Tomorrow is my personal weigh in.. the one I deem most important! my friend Alta and I have challenged each other to Biggest Loser type competition so we weigh in Tuesdays with the show..Wish me luck! As of this morning I had only lost 1 lbs since last week.. but thats pretty good given the week 2 curse!

I hear you!! It's going to be a challenge, but YOU CAN DO IT!! :cheers2:!! Pre package and find a way to make it work! Even posting might become a challenge, I know it does for me when I get swamped, but LETS make the effort!

Tomorrow is weigh in day! It's gonna be an interesting week for me, with all these changes in my body, but YOU WILL DO FANTASTIC!! Your eating was good, and at very least you DID get a workout! Something in the right direction!.....Keeeeep it up!! ;)
 
DAY 15-WEIGH IN DAY

weighed in at 161 which was a one lb loss.. not much but its one step closer! Although I didn't blow it totally last week I could have done much better with both my food and exercise.

I was my first day back to school and I am exhausted from the long day. No energy for a workout so I'm going to have to adjust quickly before I have another bad week!

soooo tired and adjusting still.. last night i was pooped after a long day back to work and school.. i came home and laid down and slept in until 1130 this morning.. i haven't slept that long in ages!!!! I don't have to work today, only school so gonna go to class then try to go straight to the gym for a class before I come home. I have to get back on track for weight loss! Diet alone doesn't help me lose weight :(

Diet alone doesn't help me lose weight

No it doesn't for me either! Because I sit all day and almost all evening I need to get to the gym to see any change on the scale. You got lots of sleep last night so you should make it there today. Have a good one!

YUP!...You have to do it!!!!!!! PERIOD! I was reading an article in which Jennifer Lopez was quoted and she said this, "There is no way around it. You have to diet and exercise. That's it. You just have to."

Regardless of how much money, time, freedom, chefs, personal trainers the rich have, it's still OUR CHOICE. NO ONE MAKES US! WE MAKE THE TIME!

A child plays everyday. A child does his hobbies everyday. Playing through exercise with your inner child is what's going to be the KEY TO THE YOUTH of our souls! The key to our HAPPINESS! The key to a LONG life! To health! The key to stress relief! The key to SHOWING YOURSELF THAT YOU ARE CAPABLE OF ANYTHING!

Discipline, BIATCH! Just do it! I don't want to hear about this "Can't Balance SHIT! FUCK THAT! Balance is made in the mind! Your body moves because your MIND tells it to! Even when you are tired physically, who the hell says you have to be tired mentally!? JUST DO IT! CONTROL YOUR MIND, CONTROL YOUR THOUGHTS, and PUSH THROUGH THIS!

Anything is better than nothing. But really, you and I BOTH are better than this. We do have the mental power. Small tasks practiced daily = SUCCESS! You can do that. YOU ARE WORTH THAT! ....I'm starting to realize with YOUR HELP, that I am worth that too. I am worth the fight, whether it be 11 pm for my workout or not! I AM, and YOU ARE TOO!...so JUST DO IT!! "

DAY 17

Thursday.. one of my longer days.. good news though, class was canceled! I was exhausted after work so i came home and took a nap.. my stomach was hurting really bad and felt a little bloated but i thought going to zumba might make me feel better.. turns out it didnt :( i left half way through class. came home and my stomach was even more bloated! 2 days ago i weighed 161 and my waist was 31 inches.. tonight i am 165 and 35 inches! that shows how bloated i am.. the only thing i can think of is that i had too much sodium today and not enough water.. drinking a bottle now before bed and hope this bloat is gone by the morning!!!
