DAY 7 & SECOND BIGGEST LOSER WEIGH IN

SNOW DAY.. unfortunately I was super lazy yesterday and had cabin fever bad. there was a huge snow storm here.. no work or school for a few days and it doesn't appear to be melting anytime soon.. it does not snow often here so we dont have the equipment like they do up north. I am hoping to even be able to leave the house by the end of the week. There is ice on the roads an inch thick in some spots! So i did a lot of laying around doing nothing but I did at least stick to my diet calorie wise coming in at 1400 out of 1500.. I did not meet my water or crunches challenge though :(

As for TODAY.
. Back on track.. this snow wont keep me down! Its disappointing
that i cant go to the gym because I work out much better there but i will find something to do here..

Today was the big weigh in to see how week one went! And although I didn't lose 41 lbs like the biggest loser guy (LOL-- still dont believe that) I did manage to lose 3 lbs!!!! I am now 162 instead of 165.. I also took measurements and lost an inch around my waist and my lower stomach area! So far so good :) Ready for Biggest Loser tonight and to bust ass week two! I hope to lose 2 lbs and get down to 160 by next week.

My partner in crime is sick so I hope she gets better soon so we can smash these pounds together! Get Well Alta!!
 
Thanks Girl!!! Great Job!!!! You did amazing!!! -3 lbs!!!! I'm thinking I am still -2lbs! I am not home and my scale is... LOL!! Let's just call it that! I had weighed in yesterday and it said the same thing. So I'm gonna call me weight -2lbs!!

I have a client tonight at 8pm, so I won't get to see Biggest Loser until tomorrow night. :( I'm gonna have to watch it on hulu tomorrow.

I hope to smash 3lbs next week!!! I am really gonna crack down and DOOOO IT harder! I didn't work out yesterday either! My cough is still bad...ugh. :( Better, but bad. I am feeling smaller naked though. ;)
 
Yay! - 2 is good!! proud of you :) Weather is sooo bad here. it looks like I will be stuck in my house for a week..I guess I will really lose weight if I run out of food lol! I am glad you are feeling a little bit better. Keep drinking water and resting when you can and you will be up and running in no time..

I am missing my gym classes but did manage to FINISH an Insanity workout just now. First time I have ever finished one! Heart rate monitor said I burned 550 calories in 35 minutes..I feel like death now and I am already sore.. not a good sign!! buttt... I FINISHED!

Lets bust butt this week! Day one again :) one week at a time :driving:

I'm really happy for you!!! I have been hiding at my bf's place from CLEANING my place! Ugghhh! It's such a mess and thirty million dishes to be washed. Really just wanted to relax the entire day and move my client until tomorrow, BUT I really shouldn't!! I'm pingponging the thought though... Hmmm. I have an apt tonight at 8pm.

That's SOOSOOO crazy that you are snowed in! Somehow I wish I could be snowed in too! LOL!! Stop eating the food and pretend you are on a FAMINE!! LMAO!! LOL!!

..See what you are really made of!! ;) hahahah! Just kidding!! You are the SHIT for finishing Insanity! INSANE woman here!!! That's a lot of calories to burn in 30 mins. I love it! I've been living off chicken soup over here! ..and slivers of tuxedo cake. LMAO!

Sick. No workout. Bad. Water, yes. Exercise no. Sleep, yes. Slivers of cake, yes. Tons of hot tea, yes. Runs, two days prior, yes. LOL!!
 
DAY 8 WEEK 2

Overall a great day.. I ate a little more than I wanted but still not too much..

Even though I have been snowed in I have not accomplished anything around the house.. there are tons of laundry and dishes and I still haven't managed to take down the Christmas decorations yet!! Looks like ill still be snowed in tomorrow so hopefully I can get some things done around here. I need to stop making excuses! Im treating taking care of my house how I used to treat working out.. I'll do it tomorrow.. but now the dishes and clothes are piling up just like my pounds! i need to take action before its too much :)

Still snowed in and school and work is canceled again tomorrow.. I haven' been able to leave the house for 3 days now.. tomorrow will make 4.. its amazing how I was happy laying around the house all the time until I was forced to do it and now I CANT WAIT to get out and do something..ANYTHING! lol.. cabin fever is soo bad right now and I really just want to go to the gym .. working out at home is ok but I much rather be in the gym because I seem to work much harder there!

Today I couldn't get motivated for an intense workout so i just did Insanity Cardio Abs (15 min of abs) I am sore and workn out from working out so I think I needed today to rest. Back on it tomorrow!

It's crazy to be snowed in isn't it?! Did you get around to cleaning your house?! ....As I look around, that's exactly what I need to do tonight. CLEANNNN like crazy! I can't even think straight in here because of all the mess!! Remind me next time I want to throw a get together or party to say...No!! No one helps. Everyone enjoys, and I get the short end of the stick at the end. LOL!... Not to discourage you and your party ideas for your birthday at the end of the month! My party was fun.. lol!! :D!

It's so crazy, that you have been snowed in, and all I have been wanting to do is hibernate my ass inside! It's insane, that when I don't feel in control of my weight or my working out, that I don't feel competent as a Hypnotherapist to even go out and market myself. It's HORRIBLE because I should be doing a LOT of things right now!! Sending mass emails, going to different businesses, calling past clients, sending them emails, being organized, making fliers, ordering business cards, going to mixers meeting people...etc. THE WORKS, bitch!....And when I feel out of control, I don't do it! I do the bare minimum and then FEAR comes in because I didnt' work.. Uggggghh.

So all in all, I've been hibernating myself and working out and focusing so that I could feel IN CONTROL of this area of my life, and have it click...generally takes a few days to convince myself, and prove to myself that I AM doing this, and thennnnn I feel like WORKING in my business as well. Lately, all I have wanted to do is exercise and make ear rings. UGHHH. Ear rings are NOT going to pay my bills!!

Thank you BIATCH for snapping me back into my place and for holding me accountable! You are not only helping me save my health, but my business and my opportunity right now to do this! I was starring at the award I won for "Remarkable Performance and Acheivement during Professional Training" and above that my Marathon metal and it's almost UNREAL that I did those things. When I'm not in "action" I go into fear mode. When I am in action, I am unconquerable! Step by step I will YANK myself out of this UNREAL HORRIBLE hibernation and lack of work! Exericise and eating right...step one. :iagree: Cleaning step two, marketing step three, and ACTION behind all steps. Woooh. Rant. Sorry. LOL!!!! hahah!
 
Oh...and don't worry about the ice cream. You know, if you really wanted, all it takes is 30 mins of some exercise today to make today a BALANCe day instead of gain.

Just do it!! :D! You can. JUST DO IT! ...Be in the moment, and the next thing you know it's done, and you are PROUD of today.

Thanks guys!.. You are really pushing me whether you know it or not! It is 11 pm here and after reading Alta's post I got my butt out of bed in my PJ"S and did 30 minutes of p90x! I burnt 375 calories and made up for my ice cream cone. I even came in with a small calorie burn for the day! now im back in bed sweaty and gross but at least i can sleep with a clear head :)

so my new DAY 9 total is 1815/ 1500 eaten -425 burned

110 calorie deficit
.. not much but hey a loss is a loss!

they say its the workouts you don't want to do that mean the most so we will see!!

Hope you get to leave your house today! I'm with Alta though - I would love to be snowed in for a couple days! It only happened here once though in 1995 where we got so much snow we couldn't open our doors because the snow was to the roof of the house!

Thanks girl! It was tough to get out of bed but Alta talked me into it.. lol. It is good to have people there to push you when you otherwise would make excuses! I am the excuse queen but i'm trying to break that.

As for the snow.. it never snows here.. maybe one day a year and when it does snow its less than an inch.. everything shuts down lol.. This time it snowed 8 inches but it has been below freezing for 5 days now. All of the snow on the roads turned to thick ice so although i can physically leave my house I can't drive anywhere..it stinks! Bound to my house but I guess it doesnt matter because everything in the whole city is closed anyways for almost a week now! Almost out of food but they say it should melt by Saturday. Fingers Crossed!

Today I am finally LEAVING my house, and gonna do something!! I have one client (weight loss one at that), gonna work off some clinic hourse towards my lease, then go to a mixer and come home and CLEAN and finally at night exercise and then maybe make more jewlery!

I found online a company in which I can find earring cards that hold them and they look really cute! Tell me what you think...



I like that they say "handmade with love" but I wish that these ones were black velvet. I still don't know what to do with all the earrings. But I figure that if I have a good set up, and that maybe I tag them really nice, ...or place them on this...



I can sell them all at wholesale to a boutique and then they can re sell them at a higher price. I walked into a boutique the other day and saw they had jewlery for $44 dollars that would take me less than 3 minutes to do. Not sure about the quality, but still..presentation is key! LOL!! ;)

Thanks! I couldn't do it without knowing you are there to support me everyday.. you are the only one I really talk to about my weight and i am so glad to have you here to push me!

As for the jewelery.. I love your determination to sell it! My advise on that is to use quality stuff.. People will pay to have sterling silver bases as opposed to cheap because they will last much longer. Glass beads and silver/gold/ chain accents can really add a lot to your jewelery over just plastic beads so experiment with different options and use high quality supplies.. thats my advise! Make sure you have perfected closing off the earrings too so they dont fall apart like the necklace I gave you! You want it to look professional and not like it is handmade.. Once you get that down just browse online for ideas! $$$$$!!!

Yeah its all about the intensity that you put into it I realized.. im jumping around like a nut the whole time I am in there and my heart rate was between 80-90% the whole hour.. 170+ Your local class might not have a great teacher but its still a fun way to lose weight if you like that kind of thing! Just go in there and whatever the teacher is doing do it 3 times harder! I can barely keep up with my teacher though.. shes insane!

Damn fries! LOL!! It's all good! Your ZUMBA class is crazy!! That's a crap load of calories to be burning in one hour! VERY motivating!1

I asked my brother today about his old heart rate monitor and he said he would check it today to see what type of new battery it needs and I might be able to have it! How cool would that be! He said it's not that simple that it's kinda expensive or something and doesn't change just like that. Who knows. But he did sound optomistic and said he would check for me! :D!

Then we can all battle our heart rates!! hahahah!! ;)

Exciting about the heart rate monitor! You need one :)

As for the fruits and veggies.. remember that I have been snowed in for a week and out of foods I would normally eat! I did the best I could with what I have here!! Going grocery shopping tomorrow so hopefully next week will be even better :) Even when I do go shopping though, no problem with fruits I love them but I am not good on getting veggies in because I only like 3 or 4 veggies! It sucks..but Im going to try to eat at least 2 veggies a day as a challenge.. thats a good one!
