Ok, so gluten isn't too bad.If you're avoiding wheat in the name of health make sure you aren't assuming that a gluten free alternative is going to necessarily be good for you. The whole gluten free thing is really for people who can't tolerate it, whole grains are ok for those of us without sensitivities. Just make sure you're checking labels and doing a little internet research!
As far as exceptions go: for me a small exception now will prevent a major exception later. I really do believe in "everything in moderation", and "progress not perfection."
I don't have coeliac disease, I was avoid everything I possibly could. I pretty much started this diet before I knew much about dieting.with all the above. If you have clinically confirmed coeliac disease (which I assumed) every exception will further damage your gut. If not you´re making your life unnecessarily hard by avoiding all traces of gluten.
It sounds like you were mixing up gluten and carbohydrates. Low carb is what people often aim for when trying to lose weight. But a gluten free pizza still has lots of carbs. As does fruit.... Not all carbs are created equal.

Thanks! I completely agree.Proper rest is important! You'll never keep up a lifestyle that leaves you constantly sore, so it's great that you're listening to your body.
Yeah, I know that every body is different so you have to be able to make your own choices. What Oaks said. The most important thing you can do for your health and fitness is finding balance. Between training and rest, between social expectations and your body´s needs and of course between nourishment and a healthy calorie deficit. You seem to be learning fast!
Oh yeah, true. I've been forgetting to do stretches... Thanks for reminding me. lol*Waving* Hi ya!
Stretching will help work out the soreness.. If you do not know them by memory, you can find plenty of on-line videos to follow.
I had a pinched nerve in back 2 weeks ago and was a complete mess and could not exercise. The stretches truly helped work out the kinks and kept me from tears!
Stretching is so important. I do them "before" exercise and after as well.
Have A Great Weekend!![]()
