Hi, Amy. He is such an adorable hound & was quite determined to get onto my lap. He sat on my legs (ouch) & kept trying to get around each side of the laptop & then he went over to G's lap & kept trying to jump over our coffee cups onto mine. G was trying to read his book & drink coffee while holding him back from jumping over. It was so funny. I gave up & took both dogs for a walk (separately). They are both very strong, but the Dalmation is super strong. It was so good that R & K were able to visit with both dogs & that the dogs behaved. It means they can do more things together. G & I are very hopeful for their relationship.
Hi, Jack. Doing 5:2 does get easier after a while, but I wouldn't tackle anything much on the 500 cal days. I made sure that I ate enough yesterday (1700 cals) & woke up not hungry at all. I don't do well with skipping breakfast and lunch so this suits me better. I had 120g low-fat yoghurt with 1 teaspoon of almond meal for breakfast & felt full. It's week 3.
I have been getting my steps in most days & went & did some raking in the bush yesterday for exercise. We are going to do lots of little burns when it's safe enough to do so. That will be some time yet. Raking is hard work when it has never been done before.
Day at home today. G & I will get some wood, but I won't push myself too much.
