Cate's Diary

Enjoy the roadtrip, Cate.

Keep at the diet and exercise and the scale should eventually co-operate. If not, I've found dynamite and a timer also works on un-cooperative scales.

Hopefully fighting dream zombies burns extra calories. I'm guessing you'd burn more calories fighting quicker creatures like werewolves or chupacabras or something, but i suppose it helps to start slow.

Always loved watching Aussie-rules football. The big cities here even have small leagues. None here in AZ I don't think. For those who haven't seen the game, here's an example of some strategic play:

Maybe the zombie woman that you were hitting to keep her from getting you was a symbol of you beating off your craving for wine? :)

I hope you have a lovely trip, it sounds like it will be a good time!

they get where's waldo socks in aussie football? SWEET!! Have a fun road trip, and take your hockey stick just in case of zombies!

Hi Vee, I had a really good week-end- ate GF fish'n chips, GF pizza, drank lots of wine & lost 1.5kg!!! WEIRD! That Aussie Rules football "player" is "Bustling" Barry Hall & used to play in our team (St Kilda or Saints). He loved a bit of biffo! He was also a very good player. I love footy & even though we were easily beaten in the end it was fun.
I'm back to sleeping well again & have not been chased by anything scary lately!

JadeLynne-I don't think I ever want to analyse my dreams. It would be very scary!

Kate! Buddy!- You had better not hang your head in shame! That's enough of that young lady. Love catching up with you on FB xoxo

KP- Where's Wally/Waldo socks- that's funny! They always pull their socks up before kicking for goal. It looks funny. I had a great w/e thanks & avoided all zombies (but not bar bores) xo

Mystic- Hi to you. It sounds like you had a full-on w/e! The weight will come off sweets. I always gain if I have had a lot of exercise. Good luck with the apartment showing- fingers & toes crossed! xo

OK. Where do I start?
In a nutshell I ate gluten-free battered fish'n chips (BECAUSE I COULD!) for lunch before the footy & had 1 bubbly during the match, a couple of bubblies before dinner & then GF pizza for dinner, with 1/3 of a bottle of red wine & got shouted an Amaretto by the restaurant owner. Sunday we ate very healthy & had a big walk, but drank copious quantities of good quality red & white wine after lunch & after dinner. Yesterday ate healthy, no wine.
This morning 1.5kg lighter than Sat morning.
GO FIGURE! No logic there, but I'll take it.
So, today I went to see the doctor & asked for a referral to a Nutritionist. I now have an appointment on the 31st of this month.
I also have a referral to the Podiatrist about my toe & she thinks my sore hip & knee should improve with stretching & maybe a good massage. Hmm. Not too sure about this doctor, but I'll stick with her for a while. I'm having trouble relating to her.

Anyhow. At long last I have lost some weight. I'm back to not drinking for now. Day 2 :D
Love to all, xoxo Cate.

Sounds like a great weekend! I give up on your scale though, it must have been hacked by evil people. Did the doc say what kind of stretches would be helpfull? It sounds a bit generic to me, but I hope it´ll help!

She stood up & did a knee to the opposite side stretchy thing-hip flex? I'll look it up maybe tomorrow night or Thursday morning. I am REALLY going to try to go to golf tomorrow. The women are having a meeting afterwards[emoji15]
My scales are nuts!

Ahh, that booze is a crazy thing... Maybe your body was just sad without it? Whatever the reason, I'm glad to see a drop, you deserve it!

Thanks guys. I didn't dare hop on the scales this morning! Off to golf shortly. Time for a quick look around diaries xoCate

:) I don´t want to see the number either, not before all the water weight is gone again. I´ll weigh in on friday though, before I leave for the airport. Have fun with your golfing ladies!

I'll weigh in Friday too. I played golf with 2 women I like & the meeting went as well as it could. It is the AGM next month & a couple of them are trying, in vain, to get me to be President. Representing the women is not on my agenda. It was a long day!

Yay! Glad the school has decided to start agreeing with you!
Glad you had a good trip!

School? I wasn't sure what you meant then. I had a lovely trip to see our son. I think he is coming right. He has started a new job & so far likes it, which will help. He can slowly extricate himself from the old job, by reducing the hours he works there, as the other one grows hopefully.

I'm feeling good but am sure I need a good deep massage. I'll ring today to make an appointment. I'm not sure if I said I have booked in to see a nutritionist to reassess what I'm doing. I have an ap't on the 31st. I'll go have a look soon at stretches etc.
Lots of love xoxo Cate

Ooh, a massage, that sounds great! For you, anyway, I had a facial once and freaked out when they asked if I wanted a hand or foot massage (I wanted neither, and why did I need to be in a robe?). But you will enjoy it and you certainly deserve it!

Hi JadeLynn & Oaks. I had better call & book myself in. A really good, hard massage should help. The woman I go to I'm comfortable with. Can't wait as I am def. in pain! xoC

Haha, I don't even think I was on the phone so can't even blame it on autocorrect!
SCALE haha Scale is what I meant to say!

I've only had 2 deep tissue massages, and they suck haha. Specially when they hit a nerve!
