Cate's Diary

Thank you LaMa & Han :grouphug:
I was SOOO tired. I played in the big tournament in Launceston on Monday & had to get up at 6 am as we hit off at 8.30. I got home at 5 pm. I slept most of the evening & all night. I think it was all the nerves as well. I actually had a really good time- woeful golf again, but a lovely time.
Yesterday I had a 500 cal fast day & was really tired still.
Today I feel pretty good & am off to the women's regular golf day.

:) No wonder you´re tired, with all you do. On the other hand: the things you mention up there all sound like fun (ok, except for the fasting, but that wasn´t meant to be fun) so that sounds like process!

I don't do much really. I don't do paid work anymore like you do.

Another good day today. We got rained out after nine holes but sat around talking for hours. It was fun.

Hope you had fun...... Or at least it was drama free.

I am a bit late to the party on the car conversation, but I am a fan of Audis! Toying with the idea of getting an A1. You do so well getting so much done on fast days!

Hi, Emily, Rebel & DA 101. I feel very rested & relaxed today, after a good night's sleep. I was happier with my golf yesterday & feel that I'm getting it back a bit. It has been a difficult year at the club. It did me good to play elsewhere I think. I hope we manage to get our greens repaired.
I'm not sure what we'll do today. We'll maybe try to get some more compost etc into our beds. It's hard work! We'll see.

Very amusing LaMa :D
Almost filled one garden bed & planted out the Queensland Blue pumpkin seedlings & a mixed Zucchini punnet. I just tried adding a pic from my phone, but it's too big. Will show you soon xo

Tonight we start Daylight Savings & will be going into the second month of Spring & ...........it's snowing!!!
I fasted yesterday & found it really hard. It doesn't seem to be working anyway.
I have a new plan for October-

October plan-
1400 calories a day.
At least 6,000 steps a day.
Golf at least once a week.
Wine-
Sunday- no wine (we have Sun night "treats"),
Mon- 2 glasses max,
Tue- no wine,
Wed- 3 glasses max (women's golf day- possibly 2 after golf & 1 at G's 8-ball),
Thu- no wine,
Fri- 2 glasses max,
Sat- 2 glasses max.
I love wine, but I know it is sabotaging my weight-loss. Wine is to me what chocolate or soda is to some people.

Ah yes, October. I'm also going to make out some sort of plan. After last night, I'm thinking no wine! Good luck with it Cate.

Thanks, Emily & Annika. I need some extra energy. Where's that sunshine?

Well....not having any wine on Sundays didn't last long! We had the littlies from 8 am to 5 pm & we both felt like a wine!
It was still a good day. I know I have to keep an eye on my wine consumption, mainly because of the calories & will endeavour to do so. I do find it hard though. Having a wine at the end of the day is the norm for us.
Tonight G is playing in a grand final of 8-ball & I will drive. I may have one glass, I may not. 1 glass max, to make up for yesterday.
