Cate's Diary

*TeeHee* ;) I'm not either! lol

Thanks so much!

Best wishes for a great cut! I'm thinking of gettin' my crazy curls straitened at salon.. I'm so tired of my crazy natural curls..and bein' asked what kind of perm I have.... lol!
So bizarre that my curls began my last month of pregnancy and became worse after I gave birth?? Hormones are just crazy...

Before, my hair type was strait... ???

My haircut is just ok.
Hello hunibun. Thanks for the love. I need it atm. I hope I do too!
I have been running around like a chook with it's head cut off . Just looking at the willy nilly smilie makes my head spin, so I deleted it.
I was awake half the night thinking of all the things I have to do between now & next Monday week, when we have our BIG Vet's annual 2 day tournament. I really should not have suggested the next week as an alternative for my sister to come....really.....shouldn't....but I did.
I haven't even made her bed up yet!
Better scoot!
Love to all, xoxo Cate

What Jen said. And if you don´t have those two minutes, that´s when you need to grab them and not let go.

Thanks gals. I feel better organised this morning & have had 2 good nights' sleep in a row. Much better! I'm heading off soon to help G for a few hours for a big golf day & then going to pick my sis up at the airport at 1pm.
I don't have time to catch up on diaries today I'm sorry, xoxo Cate

Thanks LaMa, Emily & LJ. Family time is lovely. I really love my sister but we usually take a day or 2 to settle down. We talked & talked & drank champagne & I had one very cranky husband when he got home as I hadn't given dinner any consideration whatsoever. I am so used to him having meals organised that I assumed we had cooked vegies in the fridge to go with the peppered hare he had cooked on Friday. He was very crabby & it was very embarrassing. He's over it now. I threw together a salad to go with a cooked free-range chook I had bought on the way back from the airport yesterday. We'll have the peppered hare tonight when he gets home. When I said I would cook some veg today to go with it he insisted he would when he gets back home from golf today. I had better remember to pay him more attention while H is here!

H is still in bed so I thought I would quickly type in here. It is almost impossible to concentrate on anything when she's around. She lives alone. I just heard her door, so will skedaddle, xoxo Cate

Enjoy your sis Cate! :hug2:Enjoy family time! ;)

Sleeping well makes such a HUGE difference, right?

I have to get better about wind down time and coloring so I can get to bed earlier!

I will Stacy. We had a good day yesterday & are again today. It's very smoky again in Tassie though & even Mum was suffering a little this morning & managed to convey she had a head-ache. There are still about 80 fires still going!
I am very tired today but feeling ok. Much love everyone xo

Bloody smoke... but it reminds me of how very valuable communication is. Despite all the med-cocktails elderly people tend to get they are still the most under-drugged group (along with infants) when pain is involved.

Don't worry so much about us while your sister is here... but keep that hubby fed and happy, haha! But seriously, have a great time with the family! Oh, and I feel you about the haircut being just ok. I'm dealing with a less than stellar hair situation as well, so I'm excited for it to grow out a bit.

I can't imagine coming home and being cranky, it never happens when I get home. Except yesterday.

I had to look up "chook", and now that I know what it is, I'm going to use it all the time in conversation.

Thanks LaMa, Stacy, Oaks & LJ. I feel crazily busy, but am being a tour guide as well as helping G with organising the Vets tournament. I'm enjoying having my sister here though. 8-ball grand final tonight! I'm getting a sore throat though :(
