I put my hands above my head and pretend that my boobs really are right up high and not sagging towards my waistline
This made me laugh out loud!...well after having a daughter I do something similar and think back to the pert days of my 20s!!! And I'm only in my early 30s so what will it be like in 10 years time....I dread to think!!
Just got back from a 5km run - in the scorching heat! I did it in 44.5mins which is 2.5mins faster than before so pleased with that - I really did push in the last 5 mins and darn near sprinted up the hill to my house...if only to get it over and done with asap!

Hmm what else? Email exchanges with a certain Mr X means we have a date set for lunch - 2nd week of July so I only have under 3 weeks to decide what to wear - ONOZ! - how am I going to decide in such a short amount of time!! hehehe. From his email, I think like me, he has left the afternoon free so he won't be pushed for time to get back for anythign in particular - so we should have a good chat over some great food

My aim for end of this month - to be under 189lbs, and then to be 185lbs by the 2nd week of July. This would make me 10lbs lighter AND more toned than when we last met.
This will definitely spur me on with the running!! I'm now up to 5km 2-3 times a week with a longer run at the weekend.
I had to pin my waistband of my trousers tighter this morning when I arrived at work because they were too baggy and kept on falling down onto my hips like a pair of low slung hipsters! LOL! I can't wait until the Next sale starts in mid-July - going to stock up on the next size down! Until then I'm putting stuff in hot washes and tumble drying clothes that say do not tumble dry to make em shrink a bit!!!
This is my "turn around" day of the month - where I start feeling better and lighter and the spots hopefully clear up.. I think the running is also flushing a load of toxins out of my skin - just through all the sweating...I know its probably a good thing in the long run but its rotten to be going through right now!
Oh, the other thing I wanted to say to all the newbie members of the Officially Runny Club...is...I was in Sports Direct the other (a discount sports store here in the UK) and just on a whim I picked up some Karrimor running socks - they weren't that expensive, around £4 for 2 pairs but have padded heels and balls of the foot, and a tab aroudn the ankle so they don't sink into your trainer as you run...and the rest of the sock is kind of breathable - and oh my goodness, they make a difference. The combination of running in these and my proper running shoes is heavenly!! I would thoroughly recommend investing (not very much money!) in a pair or two. I'm sure a lot of other brands are similar - but specialised running socks rock!!
