Thanks Sarah - I usually want to run before I can walk hahaha! I've been so good over the last 4 months at completely resting my foot that I went out intending to run 4 or 5 km and was feeling fine so I just kept on going. I got the injury by jumping off a yacht onto a dock to try and moor up as quickly as possible - forgot I wasn't wearing shoes and the skipper shouted an order so I just did it without thinking! Landed full impact on the ball of my right foot which crumpled and since then wearing high heels/barefoot/driving/walking had been very painful.
Before then I was running 5k maybe 2-3 times a week and a longer 7-10k at the weekend - I felt great! It made the weight drop off and mentally just let the worries from the week trickled through my mind and sort themselves out. I've really really missed it.
What do you think re the calories - how much would you say an hour of running or 7km of walking would burn off? A fair few hills up and down.
Went for a big long walk with my mum today - 7.2 km in 2 hours which is coming out at about the same calories as the running over 1 hour (700 cals - again, sounds quite high?). Small twinge in my toe but nothing bad yet.

(and how it will startle all those people at the October Event!-- I can see you striding in to give your presentation, taking off your helmet and shaking down this glorious mane of auburn hair, as you make your way to the podium, while all the financiers gasp and whisper! brilliant!)
I'm back now--and back up to 217lbs. Not good. Glad to see you are back and rocking out an awesome diet and workout plan! Can't wait to see what happens next in the Z saga! xx
