Byebye Big Bum Phase 2!

Ok, so 1300 cals yesterday (I DID NOT eat any of the other food!! Nor did I have anything once I got home before bed - this was a major achievement as to be on the train and at home and not eat from 6.30-10pm....unheard of for me!).


So, deficit of 2500-1300 = 1200 cals = weekly deficit so far of 4130


Weighed in at 201 this morning - PHEW. Going to keep on going!


Decided not to tell Z when I am next in his city - I'll just turn up at his offices to meet with some of his colleagues for work matters and see how he responds. About time he made some effort rather than me being too available.

Another ok day - a few too many snacks (an extra 300-400 cals that I didn't need) today but countered by having a bowl of chicken soup and one slice of bread for dinner (230 cals).


So overall, 1400 cals for the day, a deficit of 1100 cals, so a weekly deficit total so far of 5230 cals! Nearly at the 7000 cals / 2 lbs mark!


Meant to phone Mr X today as he's back from hols and we haven't spoken for a while...but forgot as I was busy!! How

the worm has turned! I just need the same distance and perspective about Mr Z!

Down to 199.6 this morning. This is WORKING!


I know I may well fluctuate up and down within a 3lb kind of range, but getting weigh ins like that just motivates me to keep on the right track. Although I am going out to a restuarant tonight that is 9 "tasting" courses with wines so that's just going to be a write off!!! Trying to be very sensible for the rest of the day though!

ANot sure it's still going to be the case!! But it was good momentarily! The weekend was indulgent due to the big meal on Saturday - no idea how many calories were in 8 courses of very small delicate novelle cuisine with half a glass of wine matching each one. Only saving grace is that I was way too full to eat more than two mouthfuls of the chocolate dessert.

Sunday was better - around 1500 cals and Monday was 1800 cals but walked for an hour and a half so probably minus 200-300 cals.

I need to get back into the rhythm of doing some exercise - biking to work or running. I want to but when it comes down to it, I always just feel really tired.
 
AJJJAY!!! Please stop doing this to me! I can't take the tension any more! Almost snogs, flirting, long phone conversations.. Please put me out of my misery and shag one of them lol. Its like the romance in terry pratchetts "going postal"... They never snogged, and god, it killed me. KILLED ME!!! As I have no love life of my own, I need to live through yours.

Ruth - you are so funny!! I should have just gone for it on that night out with Y..if it was ever going to happen, it would have been then! I've not contacted him for 2 weeks (and not heard from him either :( ) but will probably be back in his office before long. I'm a sucker for that sort of story as well - Remains of the Day had me stomping around for days! I will do my best to have an eventful enough love life that you can live through!!! I do get other offers you know...I'm not some completely daft desperate bint! Just X and Y have a particular twinkle in their eye that catches my eye - maybe just because I can't get what I want...and I don't want other guys who are too easily on offer?!?! Catch 22 I think...I want what I am not sure I can have but there's still enough of a possibility that its fun wanting it!


Just found out that not only am I presenting at Mr X's departmental event, I'm going to be there for the whole residential thing for a couple of days. Wish I'd lost more weight. PAH. Got a month left to blitz it. I want to look extra good when I turn up on my motorbike!


The last week has had its ups and downs. Working on a maintenance calorie count of 2300 per day:


Mon - 1700 (-600)

Tues - 1600 (-700)

Weds - 2200 (-100) - had to take my uncle and aunt out for dinner and they chose chinese...sigh...I didn't eat much all day though

Thurs - 1500 (-800)

Fri - 1900 (-400) - indian takeaway but I went for a tandoori grilled dish, just fell down on the naan bread

Sat - 900 (-1400) - ate more but went for a huge long walk for most of the day and burnt 400 cals at least

Sun - 1500 (-800)

Mon - 1300 (-1000)

Total deficit for week = 5,800 calories so should be 1-2lbs lighter at the least.


Today - 1200 calories (-1100)


At the weekend (wrong time of the month) I was back to 202lbs, so assuming some of that water retention etc... disappears, and with the calories this week, I should be back to 199. I'd like to set a target of 190 by the time I go to this event.


Friday 14 - 199lbs

Friday 21 - 196lbs

Friday 28 - 193lbs

Friday 5 - 190lbs


I'd feel pretty good if I can achieve that!


The other thing which is a bit weird - I picked up these slimming patches in Wilkinsons (iodine things) and have been wearing them for the last 2 days. I'm not sure I believe it, but I've felt distinctly unhungry. Not sure why - maybe its just the thought that they might work is making the difference. They only cost £2 for 2 weeks supply so I'm keeping up with fooling myself!
 
Hmm 203 on the scales this morning. Something is not right.


Weds was another good calories day - 1128


So why no weight loss?


Keep on going!! It's got to kick in at some point!

Scales showed 199 this morning (PHEW) so getting back on track.

Friday 14 - 199lbs (ACHIEVED Sat 15th)

Friday 21 - 196lbs

Friday 28 - 193lbs

Friday 5 - 190lbs


Got some lower back pain though which has been niggling when I try and do some situps and static core exercises. Feeling a lot more positive though that I am on the cusp of some weight shifting. I usually have a 2 week time delay on weight loss...so its about time it should start kicking in. I have stopped feeling hungry most of the time though - I seem to have adapted quite nicely to a lower calorie lifestyle.
 
I'm a bit ill at the moment - big apologies for not reading diaries and posting elsewhere - will catch up this evening as I want to know how everyone else is getting on!

OK so this week so far:



Tues - 1200 cals (1100 deficit)

Weds - 1150 cals (1150)

Thurs - 1500 cals (1000)

Fri - 1450 (1050)

Sun - 1050 (1450)

Mon - 1250 (1250)


= total deficit of 8,100 cals so should be a couple of lbs down for the week.


Not eating much is quite easy at the moment as I feel sick most of the time (and have shivers/shakes/hot/cold fever/not a particularly well functioning waste disposal system...)


Better start shifting some lbs soon - I'm a bit fed up of it not making any difference in the clothing department despite sticking to a pretty good diet for the last 2 weeks. Patience I know!!!
 
AHope you are feeling better soon jjjay! Patience!! When you feel better, start more walking...exercise is always a good answer to break out of a shrt term plateau!
