Thanks. Riding burns a bit, but not like a 60 min run would, or intense things like 30DS. My body is very used to riding as well, though I'm changing things up a bit with my new instructor not enough to be sore of anything.
Today was another good day. Finished off my lasagna for lunch, and had my same supper as yesterday cause I enjoyed it so much. Had a cream soda at a friend's place but that should easily fit within my cals. Rode but no other exercise.
This weekend has a few things happening.
A: Tomorrow morning I ride my horse for the last time at the barn he's currently at, then pack up all my things, load them, and trailer him to his new barn.
B: POSSIBLY going to an open house tomorrow. I really would like to get a new (large breed) puppy someday in the relatively near future. I want to get one before my mini poodle gets too old, as a large breed puppy and small breed elderly dog aren't often a good mix. However I live in a 'one small-medium sized dog allowed' condo with no yard.
C: Friend's party, where I'm sure there will be lots of temptation. I don't plan on not having anything, but trying to be a bit smarter about it. Taking a small handful of chips, then passing the bag on/not sitting near it at all times, one pop, that kind of thing. I will probably not eat till after I get back from moving my horse around 1:30 or 2. Something hopefully not too much in calories, then have something very filling before going, maybe tomato soup, that always makes me feel very full.
D: Pizza at my mom's house on Sunday. Again it will probably be the first thing I eat, around 12:30, I can only ride at 4 tomorrow so will get back home around 5:30ish, then make a light supper. Maybe snacking on carrots in the evening if needed. I probably won't be overly careful with the pizza, just try to take breaks between bites to be able to tell easier if I'm getting full, but I don't mind one meal being a little high cal in the week, even if it puts me closer to maintenance calories for that day.
