Burlesque Babe

Did ok today. Could have done a little better but I don't think I'm way off hopefully. Stomach isn't terribly happy with what I ate. Still getting over feeling crappy.

Thank you. I ate pretty well today. Had pepperoni sticks for lunch (don't like them, ew, not the right flavour I guess), was a pretty long day at work, then went and rode Elis and didn't make it back home till 8. By the time I had my dinner made it was about 8:45pm. That's pretty late when you had 4 mini pepperoni sticks at 12 and that's all you ate before that! For supper I had a cream cheese chicken recipe, mashed potatoes, and a balsamic vinegar spinach salad. Didn't finish all my taters. Had a bit of cravings afterwards but I didn't give in (partially cause I didn't have what I was craving in my house!)

BTW I think I have decided that I am going to start posting my weigh ins everyday. My official weigh in will still be fridays, but since I weigh in everyday anyways hopefully posting it will keep me more aware and on track and honest.

Your dinner sounds delicious!

We will definitely be planning another horseback riding trip this summer. Gone twice now and I love it! Maybe one day we will even do the day long or overnight trips! But not sure I'm quite ready for that yet...

Don't have a problem with every day weigh ins as long as you treat it as the background noise it generally is. In the last week my weigh-ins have differed by 4.5 pounds and there's been no real rhyme or reason as to why.

I like to weigh every day because it gives me an idea if I really am sitting still or if something is happening. Sometimes weighing weekly you get wrong #'s because you are retaining water or something, where if you weigh daily you can toss a few out the window as odd ball days.

Weight today 160.6

Oh I've virtually always weighed everyday during my weight loss. I understand the up and down numbers, I just meant that I would post my weigh ins on my page instead of only posting them on Fridays. Fridays will still be my 'official' weigh in day though.

Quite happy with how I did today. Had an exceedingly large salad for lunch as my Spinach was 'best before' yesterday and I had quite a bit left. I then had a chicken casserole for supper. I still have a few cans left of Cream Soda that I am allowing myself to have one a day of till they are gone but I still think my calories were quite good for today.
I had a pretty long day at work. Had a very large golden that was practically a work out in itself just trying to get it into the tub and onto my table. Not that he was too big for me to handle, but he had it in full reverse! Worked pretty non stop for 8 and a half hours except for a 10 min lunch, I was very happy that I had one dog not show up or I would have been rushing for over 9 hours to finish. I didn't think it would be so bad but that golden took so much more time than a 'regular' golden.
Tomorrow I have leftover casserole for lunch, not sure about supper, depends a bit on when I get home as I will be riding tomorrow. If I'm home too late I try to go for the quickest supper options.

Weight today 161.

Pretty long day today. Had 7 dogs booked for the day, then had someone call desperately wanting to get in because their dog rolled in something and stunk. So I ended up with 8. My day actually went ok though, but I got but a bit off schedule as someone came in to inquire about the grooming position we have open.
My groomer quit as she didn't want to work Saturdays anymore and I needed a Saturday groomer. Last time a groomer quit it took 4 months to find one, and it ended up being the same groomer that had left (she had moved with her BF for his job then they moved back early), but I had been stuck working 6 days a week all those months. She quit 'officially' on Monday and I currently have 3 people interested in the job. Crazy! Wow! Kijiji works apparently! So happy it doesn't look like I will be working 6 days a week for too much longer!
I then had to go to another barn as I had a show jacket for sale and someone wanted to buy it, so that took time out of my day, but also gave me $350! Then headed to my barn to ride. Had quite a good ride on my horse. Didn't get home till just before 8. Luckily I had a cooked but frozen salmon in the freezer so I took that out, nuked it in the microwave, mixed it with some light mayo and made salmon sandwiches for supper. Yum.
For lunch I had leftover chicken casserole.

It's probably small consolation, but being busy usually helps some with avoiding any snacking or other temptations like that. Good job on the food choices; salmon is yummy stuff and really good for you.

Official Weigh in: 160.4
Down 0.8 from last week

It does definitely help a bit, except for when it makes you really tired and you want to veg to compensate. Though lately I have been so tired I am sometimes too tired to get up from where I am to go make any food!
Today I had a small serving of chick casserole for lunch. (apparently my 4 even sections I cut it into were not so even after all). I got off work a touch early, just early enough to go home for about 45 mins before my riding lesson. I made myself a tuna sandwich on a pita since lunch was pretty small and I knew I would be home pretty late, still it wasn't really needed and added to my cals for the day. I then made myself 2 mini pizzas (just a pita, pizza sauce and pineapples). So today was a little higher cals because of havin that extra meal but I don't think it was too terribly bad.
I really want to get to working out and almost convinced myself to do it when I was home before my lesson, but just couldn't. I jsut have zero energy when I get home. Next week is gonna be insane and I'm going to be even more than exhausted when I get home everyday. Then I just have a week or 2 till I go to my horse show.

Ended up eating an apple yet. I was looking for stuff to bring for lunch tomorrow and wasn't sure if my apples were still good. I also wanted to see if it tasted good as my last apple was a disappointment. So I took one little bite to see, and it was good, theeeen I just kept eating haha. I did eventually find something to bring for lunch.

Today's weight 160.6

Had 2 English muffins with peanut butter for lunch. For supper I had Mexican lasagna and Caesar salad. I also had half a can of coke. Feeling a bit hungry right now. I declined dessert (at my moms for supper) as we are going out to dinner tomorrow which will be quite high calorie and we will have dessert.
Worked a fairly full day. Had a groomer come do a test groom for me and it's amazing how poorly people get trained (she went to a grooming school and they tend to not do a good job) but then also that they can get work grooming that way. She would take a fair bit of training to get up to standard. Not necessarily a bad thing if she's got a good attitude and will take and use what I teach but it will be a long while till I can leave her on her own which means more 6 day work weeks for me. Have another far more experienced groomer interested but having troubles connecting scheduled to get her to do a trial groom.
Also had a fun ride outside in the snow on my horse. I've never really done that before and the snow was quite deep in places.

I finished today off with one more english muffin with peanut butter. Probably close to as many cals as any desert would have been but I made sure to wait and see if I was still hungry. I still don't think I would have gone over my cals with what I had. The lasagna is not that high in cals. Didn't have too much caesar salad, half a coke. Can't see that adding up to more than 1000, less than 500 for my lunch, and about 250 for what I just had so probably around or a little less than 1800.

Today's Weight 158.8

Always happy to see that big jump down in weight. Though it will all be 'ruined' with going out for supper today. Just water weight gain, it was still nice to see the lower number while it lasted, and I will hopefully lose all that water weight before my next official weigh in!

Thanks, but oof. I kinda went 'go big or go home' at my dinner out today. Lots of nacho chips, enchiladas, deep fried ice cream. I did stick with water so I didn't get additional calories from having coke or something. I should have been more mindful what I ate earlier in the day too. I woke up at a bit before 12, and wanted to eat right away so I had 2 english muffins with peanut butter (and it's so hard to spread PB on them that you end up using a good tablespoon on each half), then I wanted to try a recipe my mom gave me to freeze and have during the week (as my week is gonna be crazy) and of course once that was made I could resist having some. But I'm just gonna not mind what the scale says tomorrow, and eat normally (properly) again.

And even though I was completely and utterly full after supper I had 3 more english muffins with PB. My mind said 'well, if this is gonna be your 'cheat day' might as well just do it' which is NOT a good thing. If I'm already full and have eaten poorly during the day, there is absolutely NO reason that I should be shoving MORE food in my mouth. I'm slightly sick feeling from all the 'gross' food today. And when I give in once, it's SO hard to get back on track. Grr.

I know how you feel. I ate horribly all weekend and went out for dinner on Saturday as well as lunch on Sunday. Then last night though I wasn't really hungry I still ate late because I was waiting for laundry and watching TV and felt like snacking. Horrible!

But today is a new day! We can both get back on track :)

Today's Weight: 160.6. Not as high as I expected, so that's kinda good.
Yup, back on track today.
Had a piece of mexican lasagna for lunch. For supper I had mashed potato puffs, and a sorta chicken parmesiana for supper. Might have a snack yet as I ate quite early, but gonna only have one if I am hungry.
