ARH MYSTIC, NO! Lol seriously, if it's happening every day maybe review your calorie intake. If it's just 100-200 calories you are adding every day then maybe allow it- maybe you aren't eating quite enough? Also it will stop the guilt trip after if you allow it every day.
 
Thanks, but in all honesty I am not eating cause I am hungry. I am eating cause I am bored and wanting to snack. When I am within 100 calories over I am not usually too fussed but snacking just to snack isn't something I want to allow, especially NOT everyday!!!
 
Ah ok, I can completely relate to that unfortunately!! Aiming to well and truly cut out all the extras again this month. We can do it!!
 
Doing ok yet today food wise. I am a still sick, sick enough to not feel like doing anything, and yet not SO sick that I feel guilty NOT doing anything. I will be going to my dance class today but I was originally planning to go riding and to the gym since I knew I had an easy day at work. Instead I came home. I baked some more of my peanut butter muffins (and actually calculated calories and they are 174, my scones are 113 so both are less than I was originally counting them for) to pass some time. I had soup for supper, though I ate it a bit early so I have to hold off on eating anything for a couple hours so I don't finish all my calories before 6!

Ate under my calories today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!! Finally! Also went to my Burlesque class. Tomorrow I will go riding AND do 30 mins cardio with 30 mins weights!
 
Thanks! Still not feeling good (worse than yesterday) so am gonna take it easy agin today (though in all honesty part of it is just me wanting to be lazy and fall back into old habits, le sigh) but gonna make sure my eating is at least up to task so after a short break in working out I can get back to it!
 
So I thought I was having a good day until just now when I decided to just make sure I was correct on my calorie count on my yogurt. I had stopped actually measuring it cause I thought I could eyeball it. Nope, definitely was over the calories I thought I was having with it. About 65 calories more per bowl than I thought and when I have 2 a day that's an extra 130 that I didn't think I was having! Still only at 1566 calories for today. Will have to start measuring again! Didn't get to the gym today or to the barn, however I only have to be at work half a hour later than normal tomorrow so maybe I can get there in the morning to the gym and definitely going to go to the barn tomorrow.
 
So unfortunately I seem to be getting worse not better :( so I didn't make it to the gym this morning and I won't be going riding. Grr. For some reason I have gone back to weighing every day. For the past few days my weight has been up, but thankfully today it was back down again. Definitely not gonna make my mini goal but maybe make it the next week.
 
I can't weigh every day, if I see a bad number on the scales that can carry out to how I eat for the rest of the day. I think it also makes me push harder for results!!

I think exercise is the one thing I'm consistent with, it's part of my routine. Even if I'm eating really terribly I'm still exercising which hopefully minimises the damage. If you can't make it to the gym why not do something at home?? Really easy to get legs/ glutes/ core done without any equipment... try something like this next time you can't get out of the house. It should take around half an hour:

Warm up 5 minutes

Circuit 1, 3x through
15 body weight squats (or 12-15 lunges each leg if squats are too easy)
10 side squats each leg (20 altogether)-
1 minute wall sit-

Circuit 2, 3x through
12-15 donkey kicks each leg-
12-15 fire hydrants each leg-
15 Hip raises (or if too easy, do single legs- 12-15 each leg)-

Circuit 3, 3x through
12-15 Reverse crunches-
1 minute plank (or as long as you can)

Stretch.
 
Thanks, though my gym is in my building so it's just as easy as doing it in my apartment, I just haven't made it cause I am feeling unwell and don't want to make myself worse by working out right now. Though I was a bit too lazy last week with the gym which didn't help!!
 
Oh wow, that's convenient lol!! Sorry you still aren't feeling well, if you're into natural products try some olive leaf extract. I love that stuff- tastes a bit funky but kills anything you have pretty quickly! Definitely best to rest if you're unwell though, if you have an infection of some kind exercise can increase the likelihood of it spreading or getting worse.
 
Under my calories today again!!!! Wahoo!!!!! Tried a new chicken recipe which was good. Tomorrow I am gonna go to the gym and at least do weights AND ride my horse no matter what I feel like.
 
Doing great today!! Went and rode my horse. He was great. Came home and went straight to the gym! Did 30 mins elliptical (was planning to do the treadmill but they were all taken), then did a full upper body weight workout. It was a good workout except the guy next to me on the elliptical kept farting (ew) and someone put their used gum into the water bottle holder and got on my keys! (ew!) Not happy bout that. I think I can up my weights on some things though. It's 8:30 and I still have about 500 calories left. Gotta eat them relatively quick as my official weigh in is tomorrow and I want to make sure it's out of my system before I weigh in!
 
Thanks, I am not quite 100% but good enough! Crossing my fingers that I don't feel bad tomorrow from it.
So I thought I would get to my 1500 calories today but BOY am I FULL!! It's 9pm so I think I am just gonna call it a day at stay at 1243 calories today. Happier with my eating these last few days. Staying in my calories and having a LOT less cravings and boredom eating.
 
:( So I weighed in today and was exactly the same weight as last week. Sigh. Definitely not even close to my mini goal weight. First one I have missed and it was definitely all my fault. I slacked off. Stats are

Starting Weight: 168lb (Original Weight from a few years ago, my heaviest)

Current Weight: 147.8lb

Mini Goal: 155lb by October 27th *MADE MINI GOAL Oct 19th*

Mini Goal: 150 lb by November 15th *MADE MINI GOAL Nov 9th*

New Mini Goal: 145 By Dec 7th *Didn't make it*

Final Goal: 128lb
 
Been a while since I caught up with your thread so I'm late to offer congrats on hitting the 140s and passing the halfway mark to your goal.

Take this week as a recovering from a cold and a mental kick in the caboose to get back on track and before you know it you'll be dropping past the mini goal in no time flat.
