Sorry to report I almost gained back what I lost last week. 282.0

We went camping with some friends of ours church group....Played, hyked, kyacked...and ate. Oh my gosh those people cooked good. That coupled with a crummy week put me at a gain.

Now I am off to watch my son run in the cross country meet. I will hit yalls threads later. Hope yall did better than me last week

Hey, it happens. Good eats are evil, aren't they? The good news is that it'll be easy to lose, and think of the amazing percentage drop at the next weigh-in!

Well I hope you enjoyed yourself anyway. Really, that's a little more important in the grand scheme of things.

I also had a bad weekend. Cheated on Friday with a meal out at Cora's, then on saturday I had chips, pizza, chocolate, lobster tart things, and pop!! But I did make up for it by waking up at 2:45 pm on sunday, so only got in a small piece of toast with PB and half a home made pizza (for some reason I could not eat anymore of if than that!) So I was down just slightly this morning, I am sure mostly cause my stomach was quite empty!!

No worries dude because due to a lack of results and increase in the earth's gravity last weekend has been cancelled.

We all now proceed with great results and a return of regular gravity....

Yup - all bad weekends are to be considered "trash" and not valid. .....lol.

Life is normaling out a bit...I think I can swing a loss this week. I go to the Dr on Nov 2 and I want to drop 3 or 4 by then. Thats gonna take lazer like focus.

We better get going guys...The holiday food demons are lurking just a few weeks away!

My son qualified for regionals in cross country. He was 12th out of 85. Thats really good because he is kind of a giant in the cross country area. He is 6'2" and 170. the dudes that win at cross country are like 5' 9" and 115.

He gets a road trip to Houston. He plays a football game Friday night then we drive them 5 hours and he runs at 10 the next morning. The football game will be for the district championship and he wont come off the field...at least he is young. Makes me tired just typing it.

At his size, age and activity level I estimate your son is burning about 10 million calories a day. Must be hard to watch him eat. :)

Congrats on his athletic success anyway.

hmm....Nov.2nd eh?...that'll be 3lbs. in just over 1 week???....will mean lots of sweat & some hunger....but U can do it !! :smash: Go TIGER !!! rrraawwrrrr !!

Happy Friday!!

Finally....Cool weather in Texas.....45 this morning!!!

Makes me crave BBQ ...OOPs I didnt say that.

BBQ bean sprouts. BBQ celery. BBQ protein shake. All would work.

Even when you're on an "everything in moderation" plan like me, the problem with BBQ is that it always tastes a lot like 'more'. One of the few areas where I have to display some willpower and wrap up the rest and leave it in the fridge 'til lunch. It may be worse for you since with the young velociraptors in your house, it would be unlikely to make it to lunch the next day.

Happy Fall weather Brawny! Hope you had some good BBQ...the lean pork or beef isn't too bad you know..it's the sauce that gets us! It's cool over here in China too...but not going for BBQ here!

Good choices to you!

279.0 this morning

Lost 4.6 in Oct. I am okay with that but I bet what I worked for a month to get off I could gain back with one out of control weekend. (not that I am gonna let that happen)

New goal.....274 by Thanksgiving. That would be a 15 year low for me (actually 275 would be it).

Also to fight my BBQ needs (Texas boy here) I got these veggie BBQ rib patties to try. They are made by the people who make one of the best veggie burger patties. Probably will be grossly dissappointed because we take our BBQ seriously down here but its worth a try.

And Maryanne- I noticed a cultural difference.....down here salmon is grilling but not BBQ...Ha Ha

Well the arrow is pointing in the right direction and so that's good. Losing more would be nice, but a pound a week is very respectable anyway.

A pound a week is nothing to sneeze at - if we all could lose a pound each week - would eventually be no fat folks left ...lol :hat:

~ and thx for clearing up the difference between BBQ and grilling ( up here - we just call anything we cook outside barbequeing.... good to know it is "different" down in Tx. )
