Guess what guys I rode that dang bike 17.53 miles today. I was literally drenched with sweat. I rode it for over an hour. When I started in Oct i could only ride for 5 minutes. Mt exercise zen is way cool right now but I gotta get a little more focused on my eating ....Im nibblin again. Gotta cut that crap out. I will weigh in in the morning (forgot to this morning)
 
I don't really need to say it cause you know I think you rock but I am going to say it, AWESOME FUCKING JOB!!!!!
17miles!! That's huge but as long as you are still enjoying it because I know all too well what happens when you stop enjoying exercise!!

Lost 1 lb
I kinda saw that one coming...need to eat better and stop letting small deviations work into my diet.
Heres some new goals that will get me that 2lb I need to reach 60lb of loss.
1. I will eat no more than 1800 cal. all week...No exceptions Sun-Sat
2. I will ride my bike 7 days in a row
3. I will ride 220 miles in the month of May.
Thats my new story and Im stickin to it!

Ate 1800 cal yesterday. So far today I am at 800 which is saying something because I went to a fancy awards lunch today because my Elm school was named a title 1 distinguished school . It was at a fancy Italian restaraunt in Dallas. I really limited my portions and only ate 1 bite of the dessert! I have a school board meeting tonight and of course there will be food (the real world is not kind to us on a diet) but I still have a thousand calories to play with. I am a rock!!! I am an island of self control!!!
 
You're right, mate, the world is not kind to us on a diet!!But we are not on a diet, this is a lifestyle change! But self control is the key!! Best of luck!

Kori - Thanks for dropping in...this site is way cool. It has helped me so much. In fact it may have been the real difference between fading out at 20lb or so like I had done about 10 times in the past.
Every day now I am having multiple comments about my weight loss and seeing lots of little things
Little thing of the day- I am wearing a shirt today that I havent been able to wear in 5 years (sad that Im excited about wearing something that old) It is a size XL. All my other shirts are XXL and 6 months ago I would not have been able to button it. Its like I am reunited with an old friend. Now if I can just get back into those little white preppy tennis shorts from 1987....ohhhh maybe not!

anyways, you would be proud... i rode my stationary bike 6.5 miles today and ran for 30 minutes at speed 6.1:svengo:
 
WoW Brawny, it's always an extra bonus that comes with working out and feeling/being stronger than what you were, and fitting into those clothes that you've kept for so long, because sub-consciously you always knew you'd make it back to them one day. That's how I feel anyways. ;) Very Rewarding, good for you!!

Thanks for helping me think about short term goals, sometimes I forget about them. ;)

I also had this pair of camo pants that I wore with a pair of red Air Jordans and a pink polo shirt with the collar turned up (I can almost hear duran duran playing just thinking of it)
