I'm so sorry I haven't been on lately. I've been really busy, and then I went on vacation. I promise I will update on the journals.

And I will update the challenge. I think I already missed this week's challenge (haven't checked it yet) because I don't know what it is and its already Tuesday!

I'm so sorry guys.

Still not feeling the hottest of hott. And I'm gaining a bit of weight!!! My diet has been HORRIBLE!!! I'm doing my best!

Well, you might be better on this weeks' bonus than you think. It's eatng 2-3 servings of fruit or veggies a day--which isn't a lot. Hope you feel better soon--keep me updated. ;) :hug2::hug2:
 
Sounds like you need to find your center and "start" fresh again!! Just wash everything out of your mind and consider today or tomorrow your NEW start date, and go crazy from there. It's okay to have a set back, as long as you don't wait to long to get back on that wagon again and start going forward. Focus on finding some motivation and really do this for YOU!! It's all about you, and you have to really want it. GO FOR IT MY FRIEND, we are here for you if you need us!!:jump::) GOOD LUCK!

Hi Brandy! No worries! You will come back. I think we all have had a hard time at one time or another!!! Just take it day by day and I am sure you will come back. Hope you had a nice vacation!
 
Thank you everybody for stopping by. I really need some helpful word right now.
I am kicking my butt into gear. Its really hard because I am working 2 part time jobs, going to school full time, finding time for family, and trying to find time for homework. But I've realized that I really need to take time to come on this forum to keep everything straight in my mind...as well as keep my motivated. So whenever a have a free moment that I am not running around trying to get things done... I will pop by here.

Plan for today:

Breakfast: 10:00 am- A salad with lettuce, carrots, orange peppers, onions, green beans, a bit of spicy steak, just a few garlic and butter croutons, and a small amount of honey dijon dressing. YUMMY.

Lunch: 3:45pm- Grilled Cheese sandwich

Dinner: Not sure when- a salad with SOME sort of meat.


Exercise: 50 mins of Yoga, 2 sets of 50lbs on the weight bench, and 35 sit ups on my ab lounge. Then bowling with the family.

IF I have time between homework, cleaning, and my already scheduled exercise... I might play a little bit of DDR. I'll try to fit it in.

I don't think I'm going to make my goal for this challenge. But I forgive myself. I just have to keep trying.

I'll be back on later today to keep up my motivation.I LOVE YOU GUYS so much for doing all you have for me.
 
whoa you sound so busy! I'm impressed you are taking time to take care of yourself. You deserve it. Don't stress over not meeting your challenge goal... I seriously am doubting I will make mine either, but who knows, we could surprise ourselves! The important thing is that each day we recommit to doing what we need to do to make ourselves happy & healthy. Hopefully all the hard work will pay off for you in making it easier to do all that you do.

Morning girl! I think your on the right track, and good for you to keep coming back on here to help with motivation, that's what we are here for. I thought your entire day yesterday was set very good!! You did yoga for quite a while and that is so good for the body and soul! And all your food sounds great and very balanced. Keep on going, don't stop, you WILL succeed, it just takes a LOT of time and a LOT of patience. GO GET EM~~~

My birthday went well. I ignored my diet though. afhhaah. I was looking forward to it. Even though I went way over my calorie limits... I made sure to EAT THOSE VEGGIES!!!

Yesterday I got lots of exercise in while playing with my little sister. Running around for almost 2 hours!! But I went over my calories AGAIN.. because i always celebrate my birthday 2ce... once at my mom's... once at my dad's.

Today is great. I started out my day doing a new yoga video, which is very much more intense then my other one. (its like the next step up) Seeing as Danny bought me a yoga and palates videos. And I got a nice new mat as well! He is so caring. Danny has gotten a new job as a waiter!! I'm so happy for him. After 6 months... extra money would be nice! He is going on the atkins diet when he gets a little extra money. And then we are going to buy a bit of our own food to help our diets along the way. My yoga was so awesome this morning! I feel great. I didn't get around to the palates though.

I don't know what my food is going to be today. I will plan it out when I go upstairs and see what we have in the house.

I'll write more when I have my day a little more organized... seeing as thats my challenge this week!

OH NO!!!:eek2: I missed your birthday, DRATS!!! I wasn't online that day. SO HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!! and I'm so sorry I missed it. drats! Thanks for the cake KIM! Its the only cake I'll be looking at for a while!

So for lunch.. I made Steak and Potatoes. Yummm. I needed a lot of protein for energy. And I really wanted the potato! Does that count for a vegetable?

I did lots of exercise today! I did the 30 minutes of Yoga this morning. But I already mentioned that. Then I did 15 minutes of pilates. There is a lot more. But I only did the first section. (it is broken up into different levels.) I want to stay with the first level until I feel comfortable with it. Just those few minutes gave me a bit of a sweat! If was a good feeling though. I also did 2 sets of 12 reps with 50 lbs on the weight bench, and my 40 sit ups. I need to go figure out how to do the leg lifts that I found out were on my weight bench. I never knew what that was for. hahahhaa. I am so stupid sometimes.

So today went GREAT!!! I can't do this much EVERY day seeing as some are busier then others. But maybe this great feeling will start a trench with my exercise routine.

More food for today: a small salad before I go to work, and then 6 chicken wings for dinner when I get home. I only drank 2 water bottles so far... So I need to get on that! I have to leave for work in 1.5 hours... So I better hurry!
 
Potatoes are fine, depending on two things, HOW YOU COOK THEM, and what you PUT ON THEM?? I always bake mine and top it with "salsa" mmm it's so good that way, and less calories! But if you make them mashed and add milk and butter, YIKES! That's a lot of calories. But, I'm sure you were really good and only baked them right? LOL LOL Your doing good, keep it up!
 
Today is going well. I woke up and cooked myself a bagel and cream cheese, and ate breakfast with Danny while watching Transformers. Then Danny went outside and fertilized the lawn, while I did my yoga. So yes... 30 minutes are GREAT yoga, and then I used the weight bench. I feel so great right now! I really like doing yoga. Not only because it is such great exercise, but also because it calms me, and I get UN-Stressed. It puts me in an all-round great mood.

For Lunch I am going to have a cheese quesadilla, (I never know how to spell that. Anyone know?)

Then I have work at 2pm. Danny is going to his eye-doctor's appointment. SO, I work at the Bakery from 2-6, and then I was supposed to be at Starbucks from 5:00 to 9:30- but I obviously can't be in 2 places at once. So I will go to Starbucks straight from they bakery. OH WELL. Next week I don't have any bakery hours because it is family owned,and the family is going to Disney, but I won't be short of work. I have 30 hours at Starbucks. YEP. Only 1 day off. I need the money, so I think I will be happy with that.

Well, I need to go eat lunch so I can take my shower and leave for work soon.

OH MAN, you work at two of my most favorite places, STARBUCKS, love the Mocha Frap and now the YUMMY pumpkin spice, :eek2: Can we say FABULOUS coffee, and yes, luckily I only get to Starbucks maybe twice a month. LOL And the bakery, honey there is nothing like FRESH BAKED BREAD, and that is one of my weaknesses, if I must add. OHHHHHHH I don't know how you do it!! Good for you getting in your yoga, AWESOME JOB!! Keep it up!!! HUGS :hug2:

Thank you for stopping by Kim. Its hard working at both places. I luckily know about the healthier of Starbucks drinks. Like your mocha frap can be made with low fat coffee base.

Today will be a good day. Yesterday was pretty good too. I ate an onion bagel for breakfast. And then it was time for my exercises. I decided to do my pilates first- knowing that I really didn't want to do that as much as yoga. I wanted to get it out of the way. I only did the first 15 minutes of the video (the basic mat) but I think next week I will start doing the basic/intermediate mat. And for some reason I wasn't concentrated while I was doing yoga. My breathing was all off, and I just wasn't into it as much as I usually am. It still felt great, and I've noticed myself getting more flexible. I can almost touch my toes!! I feel accomplished still, but for some reason my mind kept wandering while I was doing the yoga. There is just so much in the room that I need to clean up. My room has been clean for 5 days now! (lol) and I have to put away a basket of clothes before I just let it sit there forever. ANd my bed wasn't made. So maybe I should get that stuff out of the way before I do my yoga from now on.

For lunch I am going to find some sort of meat, and then I have a WHOLE bunch of broccoli and summer squash that I want to eat. Not sure what is for dinner. BUT I am trying to talk my boyfriend into bowling again tonight. :)
I still have to use the weight bench and the leg lifting thingy. I will do that in a few minutes before my shower. and then my exercise will be completed for the day. (that is to say that I am super busy the rest of the day. If I have time... I will do more!)

Well... I better get to it. I have school soon. I will update more when I get home!

It sounds like you have a really good food and exercises day planned. GREAT WORK!! this is the type of schedule that will sure to get you down in pounds. I love the fresh broccoli and squash idea, YEAH!! MMM Love my veggies!! Have fun bowling tonight if you get the chance!:)
