Throbbing mouth from the foods I've been eating.

Here still.
Just alot of pain from kidney stone infection again.
Trying to stick to twice a day eating.
Weigh day Monday.

Foods-
1 Joey Louie cake
2 cups 4% cottage cheese
3 cups canned pea soup

Yikes a little much today.
A little stuffed feeling.

Hello! I have had a lot of dental work done, I still have to be very carful not to eat anything too hard and I cut all my food up into small bits, so I can certainly sympathize with your plight!

I saw this really energetic but she also seemed to be kind woman on my Pinterest feed, I think she has YouTube videos of workouts that can be done while sitting in a chair, her name is Cheri Shultz, maybe some of her videos (or other folks who have similar ones) would be nice for you.

Yesterday I got my sock on myself after about 10 years of not being able to. I say sock and not socks because for some reason I could only reach one foot. Not sure why. Maybe there's more body fat on my right side. Not sure if that's even possible but it seems so.
So that was neat. And maybe at some point I can get them both on myself.

Well I guess that's all the dam mouth pain I can take. Just LIQUIDS from now on and only cold ones.
Any food ideas anyone?
Mashing and pureed just isn't enuf.
It's been 15 months and I had my mouth checked a few times but I guess no one told me that the pain just never stops.
And I've approached my dietician but they just give me standard advice I can already find online.
I'm on my own.

Are you able to buy nutritional shakes, Blue? It seems wrong to me that you are not getting help from the medical profession with diet & pain management. Have you seen a doctor lately?

I do buy nutritional shakes when on sale and would be able to have 2 or 3 a day at the sale prices.
I don't have a Dr. Been on a waiting list for 6 or more years for a Dr.
My meds. had been renewed by walkin Dr calls.
I saw a Dr last month in er but only for the kidney stone pain and for less than 5 minutes after a 10 hour wait overnight in er.
I finally got a endocrinologist for the diabetes things. It's all done by phone as he is so far away it would require an overnight somewhere to sleep for an appt.
Like drive nearly 8 hours to get there then sleep then drive the 8 hours back. I'm very lucky he agreed to renew my other non diabetes meds. too.
So I'm not really left with much but to do it myself. Like deal with the pain and just drink my foods I guess so it's not so painful.
It helps alot by only drinking things. I just need to figure out what so it's not all sugar.

I have a few soups that don't require any chewing. The pea soup and lentil ones that I buy on sale. But guess what? That puts me going against all my anti salt advices. Bad for swelling and kidney stones and blood pressure. Wow. Just can't win!!
I tried making my own but never tastes any good. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I stopped wasting all the ingredients to make it out of.
I guess something always gets us one way or another.
Maybe try balancing out the sugar with the salt somehow.
But how.

I have trouble getting my head around being on a waiting list for 6 years to see a doctor. I don't think people realise how lucky we are with our medical system. I'm glad you are able to find an endocrinologist who is prepared to help out. The nutritional drinks sound like the best option. Can you buy low-salt canned soups?

Yes many people here are waiting for a Dr. Covid really made it worse as I did have a specialist who took my blood pressure every so often but lost her when covid came. But still have been waiting for a regular family Dr for many years.
There used to be lower salt soups available but I can't find them anymore. They were a store brand but many store brands are disappearing. Maybe because the stores can sell brand names for more money?
I guess the nutritional drinks are better and they can be cold.
I can't imagine having soups cold. Ew.

I have a funny feeling a cold foods/drinks diets going to be a weight gainer for me.
I guess I find out on Monday 😮
It doesn't help that the meds. make me ravenous. But I have an appt. by phone in July. Just hope I don't gain too much by then . 🤬😡

Weight-
