hey,blueberry your name made me hungry!!!lol hey I am proud of you we weigh the same amount and that makes me feell good that i have someone that I can do this with. I find it very hard when i am at home to eat right i cannot find the strenght to exercise but,it will get better keep up the good work!!!
 
Hey hun I added you on yahoo messenger maybe we can chat there some times do you happen to have msn??? , You will get into it I hated working out too I can't walk to well cause of my knee and ankle I messed up in my car crash/falling down stars too lol... but I can go for small walks.. and I can swim and swimming is just as good once you get into it you will start to love it so much... for my diet I went to weight watchers ( not anymore ) but I do fallow there point plan so I hope by the time it's X-Mass I'm back to 240-250 where I was in high school and then I wanna get down to 140-150 where I was in like grade 2-3 OMG EWW LOL get back to me hun
 
Can I do it by Aug 2008?

Hello everyone well today I was thinking I'm hopping by X-Mass I can be around 250-260 and then by next Aug not this one comming up but the one after it so that would be 16 months from now that I would be at my weight of 140 do you think I can do it??? I weight 321 now I hope so :) I have lost 22lbs in 8 weeks but I hope I can keep doing that thank you everyone for being so great :)
 
I also swim as my exercise (might start doing some cycling as well from next week on). I don't know how long your pool is but I do between 40 and 60 laps on my gym's pool which is 33 m in length so I do between 1.3 and 1.8 km (which is between a mile and a mile an a half more or less).
I am small compared to you and I tell you I am the slowest swimmer in ther, I can only swim 1 style (and 2 on my back) and since I am very short sighted and don't use glasses in the pool I look like a mole carving it's way through the water.
But I love it! I hope you get what you expect from your swimming!

lol that was cute what you said I know how you feel cause I feel the same way my sight sucks as well lol wow your doing well with your laps too GOOD JOB... Mine is at the Gym as well I really don't know how big the pool is really I know they have swim meets there but nothen like the ones you see on TV for like swimmers and stuff??? I really dont know maybe I should ask lol but I would say around the same as you.. How long does it take you to do like 40 laps?? it takes me almost one hour to do 50 lol I'm a slow one and some times more cause my boyfriend stops me lol and wants to talk ASS LOL but I still keep my feet moving... I can also only swim one way and I'm short 5'3 I know some people are shorter BUT omg my arms everything are so short my friends think it's cute LOL but GRR to them lol the hole mole in the pool thing??? You ever run into a wall LOL OH MAN I have LOL YES for me
 
If you will actually be able to do it... I dont know... But in an healthy way of speach, yes is possible. OMS says that it's healthy to lose 5kg per month.. which means around 11 pounds per month. That's what you proposed to lose...
But it is very dificult to handle... Take it step by step, be careful with your heart, you should be supervised.
 
Thank you ever so much :) i'm happy with it and today i came to my parents and I packed a lunch insted of eating the stuff my mom always has like cookies and stuff damn her lol so im not eating them today GO ME lol
 
I think you can do it. At least i hope so, cause my goals are almost identical.

I have lost 48lbs so far in 4 months. Mind you, i lost a lot at first and then it plateaued big time, and i am currently averaging about 2-3lbs per week. I have really been working out hard, but i am naturally athletic, so i have also been loving it.

I'm pretty new here too, and have foudn that this forum is great for general questions, and support.

I am going to PU some boxing training equiptment i purchased second hand tomorrow. cant wait!

What program are you following? Whats your workouts like?

Dosent it feel great to just get out there and get moving?
 
Today after 8 weeks I have lost now 24 lbs... I love it... I swim 30-50 laps and sit in the sauna for about 30 min 6 times a week but most the time 7 times a week... I have went along with the weight watchers plan and it does work it helps out... and that's how I have based my goal on 2-3 lbs a week :) looks like your doing great good job so where you from??
 
Wow, how funny, i am also doing the WW plan. Ive been loving it.

I have been doing a combo of walking, jogging, gym and weight lifting (minimal for now) but am really excited to start boxing training. Not that i am going to book a fight or anything, i just know you can get a great cardio workout. Also going to join the community pool when it opens next month. excited for both boxing and swimming, cause i hate jogging and most cardio.

You are off to a good start. Just continue the pace and the effort. Who knows how far you will have come by X-mas or August 08. Keep us posted on your progress. Keep up the good work!

But I have some things to ask I'm weighing in at 319 sucks bad but I have been going along with weight watchers plans but I wanna know what you all think this is the calories i had today... I had 1697 cals is that alot for someone my size? what is a good amount for someone my self?

The Cal was 1697
Fat all together was 72 (ewww) but I had good food :( this was all day long really)

PS... I ALSO DID IT... 6 times today FOR THE 1st time in my life LOL
Can someone please tell me if this is around the cal count that someone my size should have??? thank you ever so much everyone
