BikiniBound's Diary

Well, the squirrel has been returned to its rightful skinner. :biggrinjester: David gave his friend the squirrel back last night when he went over there for dinner. Apparently the wife made tacos, so when he came back, I asked him if he enjoyed his squirrel tacos. :smilielol5: He assured me they were made from beef, but I'm wary of eating at their house now. They might try to serve me chili con coon or some such thing. :smilielol5:

Claudia--Times aren't tight at all for his friend. He's got money enough, he's just a big hunter/outdoorsman and well, maybe slightly off his rocker...haha. But he's helped us tremendously on our condo, so I should be nice. :)

:party: Today marks the last day of the Bush era and the ushering in of some welcome change.:party:

That squirrel story is.....very interesting! HAHA!

Poor Henry :( You're doing the best thing--male cats are fine without their testicles.

I am REALLY glad to hear you're having an easy pregnancy! That poor chick :(

 THANK FUCKING GOD THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION IS OUTTY!!!!

I haven't gotten around to listening to the whole inaugural speech but I've heard bits and pieces on the radio. YAY!

Have a great night!

are u a lions fan too....

i hate to say it but i am

althought right now very discouraged

do you ever listen to 97.1 the ticket...i am obsessed..i heard they interviewed Schwartz today....but i didnt get to listen to it...probably can find it on line

Claudia--I am incredibly psyched. I cried tears of joy throughout his innauguration and speech..lol. I was especially happy when Biden took his oath because it meant Cheney was outta there.

Steve--Bon soir.

Val--It was a great speech--and not long, either. It's so nice to have a well-educated intellectual president back in the white house. The only thing that irks me is how much $$ was spent on the innauguration--like the most expensive one ever--by far I read. :cuss: Not the time for that imo. One of my co-workers made Michelle Obama's recipe for almond bars and brought them in to the office to celebrate. They were really good. :D

One more day and Henry's kitty testicles are history. He has been taking antibiotics twice a day since Friday for his infection, but he's still pissing on my rugs. Just did it again a few minutes ago. Getting pretty sick of cleaning up after him. :cuss: I really hope the neutering makes it stop. Otherwise, he will have to go back to being an outdoor cat at my parents' house b/c I cannot be cleaning up cat piss every single day--especially with a baby in the house. But I really love the little bugger, so I hope he gets his act together. :(

I'm a fan (if that's possible atm!), but not a diehard. I really don't get into the NFL that much. I much prefer college football. :)

The baby was really moving around tonight. I could see my belly moving this way and that. It was pretty weird! Judging from where the movement was, I think it's moved into a head down position. :hurray: It was breech at the last ultrasound a month ago.

Well, it looks like a have another job..lol. Still in real estate, this is in addition to what I'm already doing. There is an agent in our company who has tons of foreclosure listings and needs help. So I am going to be helping him with billing and a few other things. He's paying me weekly by the hour so I won't get screwed like I did with the last guy. Also, this guy had about 45 closings last year, so if I do change to be paid a percentage of his commissions, I should be fine. Not thrilled about the hourly pay, but I'm hoping that if I do a good job, in a month or so I can ask for a raise--especially if he's able to do more business b/c I'm reducing his workload considerably. The nice thing about this job is that I can pretty much do all of it on my laptop from home--nice for when the baby arrives. :) So, I really hope this arrangement works out, 'cause God knows we can use the money!

Fantastic news, Kimberly! Good to know that things are lining up well. It seems like just yesterday we were making wise cracks about the best ways to get knocked up. I'm glad the pregnancy has been going well. Crap, by the time I get back on here again, you'll probably have already popped!

I hope Henry comes around and smartens up, too!

I wonder why?!?!?!

Yes, me too!

YAY I hope the baby is not breach! Good luck on the new job, working from home sounds great!

LOL re: the baby. :)

When I was around 8 mo. Cory sat up and my tummy looked like the Alien movie! Scared hubby and I big time! :smilielol5:

It lasted about 20 seconds and felt longer..lol..

It was crazy! I called the nurse hotline in a panic...LMBO! :D

(I was so young and that just tripped me out..)

I hope everything works out for ya as well with the job. :hug2:

Have a great Sunday/Monday doll.

My mom nearly went into a diabetic coma and died yesterday. If my dad hadn't stayed home with her, she would've. Her blood sugar was 50. Today they took her to the ER where they are admitting her. She's still very weak and she's put back on all that water weight again. :banghead: I imagine she'll be in the hospital for several days while they get that water weight off.

Good news is that Henry hasn't peed anywhere (except his litter box) since he was neutered, so hopefully that did the trick. *keeps fingers crossed*

More good news is that D's getting in lots of hours at work so that means more $$ for us. Also, my RE has also been good. I should have a closing in the next week or so, plus we got an offer on a listing that should go through, and I've got some buyers who will probably be putting in an offer on a house they want sometime this week. And the other job I mentioned is so-so. I'm not sure if it's gonna work out or not. We'll see.

Sorry I haven't been in many diaries lately--just been busy and pre-occupied. Hugs to all of you. :hug2:

Sorry to hear abt your mom:hug2:

Good Grief... :(

So sorry to hear about your mom doll.
Hope she gets better real soon. :hug2:
