BikiniBound's Diary

Any of you can feel free to rub my belly anytime. :D And Amy, you can rub other things too if ya want. :drool5:

You guys are the best. Well, Stacy, I was gonna send out some invites to my baby shower to many of you, but I figured it would be pretty unlikely that many, if any of you could make it since we're scattered all over the place and busy.

I don't have time right now to write more, but now I'm wondering what to do about that..lol.

I do like it rubbed, when I haven't spent nine months puking my brains out BECAUSE of the little munchkin in my belly. Hah! Pregnancy sucked ass for me, BIG TIME.

Amen sista!!! My first one was great my second one sucked some major ass, I was barfing all throu it and even on the delivery table!!!

Haven't been around much b/c my laptop is f'd up. Freezes up on me about every 5-10 min and the only thing I can do to unfreeze it is to shut it off and turn back on. I tried running my norton anti-virus scan, but it says everything's fine. clearly it is not. :cuss: I'm here on my office computer now b/c I had some work to do.

Today is my parents' 40th wedding anniversary. :cheers2: I made a cheese cake with splenda and non-fat cream cheese to make it healthier. David and I drove down to where my mom is and the four of us had a mini party with the cheese cake, card, and I got them a pink calla lily. It's really sad that is how they had to spend such a milestone anniversary, but there really wasn't much else they could do. Mom is in no condition to do much of anything. We couldn't even wheel her down to the lounge area where there's more room b/c her oxygen cord isn't long enough, and the portable tank was empty. :(

It's getting harder to be preggers..lol. Today after taking my granny to lunch, we both got in the car at the same time and there was a lot of grunting and groaning from both of us..lmao. She said I sounded like an old lady, and I told her I felt like one. :D Just getting up from some seated positions is becoming quite a chore now that I'm 8 months. I took a walk around the neighborhood today b/c the weather was so nice--yes, 32 degree weather is nice to me at this point. :D I had only walked about 5 min when it became a bit painful from all the pressure near my cervix. I walked 12 minutes then went home and rode my exercise bike for 20 min--that doesn't hurt. :)

Yes, I remember walking like a turtle (or an 80 year old) I was moving so slowly by 8 months. At that point I looked like I was about to burst any second. Turned out a lot of my belly was FLAB booh hooh. I thought it was a gigantic baby but she was a normal sized 7 and something lbs. I have forgotten her exact birth weight now! bad Congrats to your parents on their anniversary, that is just sweet that they've been together so long. I hope she's getting better.

Good for you for riding the bike, I dont think I exercise that close to my due date, although my aunt was telling me abt being 8 months preggo and playing mini golf!HEH i dont remeber that.I remeber playin badminton with the kids and using two rackets so I could pick up the birdie without having to bend over, LOL.

I think your doing great, it is almost over.Hopefully the lil one will arrive on time:)Being over due sucks. Both my girls were very over due!

Good midwife appt today. Blood pressure was 117 over 75, baby is head down! :hurray: This explains the pressure I'm feeling when I walk for any length of time. Also baby is "floating" as she put it--meaning head is down, but not way down..lol. At least, that's what I think she meant. Heart beat was good, and I'm measuring on schedule. We had a fun chat about midwife things. I've read a couple of books lately, and she has read one of them and heard the other author speak at conferences. She also recommended a book that I have on hold waiting for me to pick up at the library. I thought that was funny.

I went over to an old friend's house today unexpectedly to try and make peace. this is the "skinny bitch" friend some of you older members might remember. Until today we hadn't spoken since Aug of 2007. Well, I think things are better. We had a nice chat.

The bike is much easier for me than walking b/c I don't feel that pressure from the baby's head. I haven't been to the gym in two weeks, though. I need to get my ass over there, but it's hard when I'm so busy. Was going to go today, but never made it. :ack2:

WOW!!!
I can't believe that you are soooo close to your due date. Just seems like yesterday that we were visiting and walking all over the town. LOL
Looking forward to the little bean getting here and visiting you again.
Great job on keeping up with the exercise. You Rock!!! :biggrinjester:

Howdy KIM!!! That baby is ready to go!!! Do a few jumps off your coffee table to see if it shakes things loose!!! :D Great mental image... really!! Looks like things are going well... wow time has flown!! Probably not for you though. Get that laptop fixed... I miss talking sports and sex... oh, and weight loss too!! ;) :) :)

I cant believe you are 35 weeks you are so close another thing I cant believe walking, biking lol CONGRATS I became handicap when I hit 4 -5 months lol when your down to those final weeks you R more anxious cant sleep and the trips to the bathroom blah!!! Well I wish ya luck and yayyyyy i am excited for ya

Dawn--I know--it's really flown by these last two months. There's no way I could walk that much now...lol.

Josh--I don't want the baby coming yet...lol I am soo not ready for it--plus it needs to bake a while longer yet. :)

The computer is fixed. I uninstalled my Norton Anti-virus and voila, works better than it's worked in months. Now I have to re-install it. :cuss: I hope it still works okay. If not, I'll be switching to someone else.

As I have no tv atm, I'm not much good for discussing sports as I haven't been watching any. :(

Tammy--I hear ya on the trips to the bathroom!! The other day I went 3 times in 30 minutes. At night I wake up every hour or two to pee and/or switch sides to sleep on. I'm really starting to feel 8 months preggers. Just getting off the sofa takes major effort!

No sports??? Are ya having Red Wing withdrawl??? Better get the hubby on that STAT!!! :D Good to see ya doing good, and keep cooking the turkey if you insist!!! :D :) :)

Hey Kimberly,

Sounds like your moving right along. I can't believe your already 8months along. It seems like just yesterday you were telling us you were pregnant. Glad to hear the appt went well and everything looks like its in good order and stuff.

Sorry to hear about the circumstances your mom and dad had to celebrate their anniversary under. On the bright side 40 years is quite a milestone and they are still married :) Good on them!

Take Care, and enjoy that 32 degree weather ;)

-Sam

Okayyyyy, got some news for you.

I'm pregnant!

NOt planned at all and we didn't even know it was possible since 1) I only have one ovary and 2) the doc said we were lucky to get pregnant with our first child.

The doc will have to monitor my thyroid levels closely during the pregnancy and we're gonna keep our fingers crossed that this pregnancy won't be as awful as the last.

I'm gonna keep running until my belly is too big and will then be walking regularly as well as weight training regularly. Last time I was vomiting nonstop so I got REALLY out of shape. THIS TIME I will stay in shape even if I have to take a barf bag on my runs with me. LO!
