BikiniBound's Diary

Update on the condo--no word from the bank that owns it yet--he thinks it'll be another day or two. In the meantime, he is expecting to get another offer in today. :cuss: This means I'll have to up my bid. :(

Hey wanted to drop in to say howdy and sorry for not being around much!
I have so much on my plate right now it's unreal lol.I hope you continue
kicking ass and I will be back on the wagon to I have had a break for a week now and really dont want to get out of hand and gain alot back and use pregnant as an exuse because I read that if I get to 175 that means a healthy pregnancy anything OVER that I am doomed lol.Have a gr8 week Tammy

I can believe you've got a lot on your plate!! I think that 175 is a great weight to avoid exceeding. Just try to eat well most of the time, and not worry so much about calories. I'm sure this will be your healthiest pregnancy now that you're so much lighter. I think it'll really help with how you feel, and also greatly reduce the risk of having any complications like gestational diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. Well done! You are smart not to use pregnancy as an excuse to pig out. You'll be much happier after the baby is born if you gain between 15-25lbs during pregnancy.

Bah! That stinks. Hopefully it won't be too high.

I have not heard from him again--so I'm hoping that means he didn't get another offer yet. *keeping fingers crossed*

Exercise this week:
5/12—29 min walk/jog, 2.2 miles, weight: 223, calories: 1,483
5/13—43 min walk, 3 miles, weight: 223, calories: 1,669

Pretty pleased with today. I felt hungry all day, but managed to keep my calories respectable, and also got in a really good walk. I was really hoofing it. I'm not going to make it to the gym thrice this week, though. I'll have to settle for twice.

Good job Kimberley. I was so hungry by the night time that I ate a bit more than planned. This was definitely not munchy though, this was that beat someone up if I dont get something to eat type of feeling. I seem to get that on days I've lifted if I had a light eating day the day prior. Plus I'm at the end of my cycle so perhaps that's the cause?! At any rate, I ended up around 1900 calories.

Hey there - ya gas is unbelievable...however I wish I only used 52 bucks a week...I put in 40 every 3 - 4 days it is ridiculous...Hope you find out good news abt the condo soon:)

Hows the couch to 5k doing ? Could it be done on a treadmill ?

You're still under 2000, so that's good. :)

Cerella--You must rack up the miles with your job, girl. If I got busy showing houses, I could easily double my weekly gas usage. These days I try to plan things in advance to cut down on my running around where possible.

No news on the condo yet. I haven't heard about any other offers, and don't want to bug him again for fear it'll cost me..lol.

The C25K can be done on a treadmill for sure. I hate treadmills, though, so if it's raining out, I won't run. :D

Hi Kimberly

I hope that you get some positive condo news soon.

You will have every opportunity to see how scandalous our prices are when you get here next month.

Well done for getting in the good walk (with the knowledge of more to come this week). Also for keeping your calories respectable despite feeling hungry. Both you and Claudia seem to be motivated by your mini-challenge.

Take care
Love
Margaret

I'm sure I will, as I remember them being rather scandalous back in the early-mid 90s..lol. They can only have gotten worse--especially with the exchange rate as terrible as it is. You should come here for a visit--you'd think everything was cheap! :D

Okay, where's my boobie soapings? I haven't had any for a few weeks now!!!

I admit I have been really slack in that area lately. Hmm.. I think there's a pun in there somewhere. :D

I'll be over to your diary pronto to soap up them boobies, baby. :D

Just think, if I come to LR a day early, it'll be Wednesday. Hide your soap, sponges and buckets from me, or you might just get a boob "job" in person.

Thanks for the congrats..LOL! Trust me-I'm no Spartan..lmao. My willpower has been weak as can be lately. However, that was my high school's mascot. :sifone:

My original mascot was a FRICKIN sailor!!! They aren't intimidating....or even a cool mascot!!! My senior year we voted on a Pirate instead. It is a little more fierce!

Hey Kimberly,

I kind of follow basketball, especially lately. The Jazz are holding their own against the Lakers but damn that Kobe Bryant, or Kobe O'Bryant as my bros and their drunk friends call him lately. My bros and their friends are way into basketball and are huge Jazz fans. They said Kobe even tweaked his back a little, so they were kind of excited about that, lol...

Oh, yeah, mormons don't drink caffeine, or at least the really devout ones don't... Some won't drink coffee but they will still drink caffeinated soda, or eat chocolate... They pretty much try to abstain from every drug out their, unless it's prescribed or like an over the counter type of thing. They also don't believe in pre-marital sex, cursing, dressing too provocatively, homosexuality, buying things on Sunday, watching vulgar movies, etc... That is the general thing, although I do have several friends who are mormon, it kind of differs from person to person and how much they are into the church... Some are very accepting and fun to be around, and some are very judgemental and hateful people. I think that is true with many religions though.

I am starting to feel completely better, so I'm pretty stoked about that :)

Lol! Being near Lake Michigan, there are a few schools that have Sailors or Lakers as their mascots. I think most mascots aren't that intimidating. Take the Mighty Ducks for example..lol. Or the Buckeyes. Like I'm scared of a tree...:smilielol5:

Sam--Thanks for the Mormon/caffeine info! :D I'm watching the Jazz/Lakers game right now. I hope the Jazz pull off the series, as I cannot stand the Lakers. :D I'm glad you're following the basketball--it gives me someone on here to talk bball with..lol. Of course I'm hoping the Pistons win it all. :)

I'm not sure I agree with you there. I've been thinking for months that I'm getting thinner, but the reality is I'm not.

I agree that it's far more mental than physical, this losing weight business. That is for sure--probably 90% mental.

When I said I had no will power, I was referring to the last 5 months where I've been good for the most part during the week, but terrible with my eating on the weekends. And that has kept me from losing much weight since November.

However, starting Monday, I have decided to get back on the wagon and bust ass until my plane takes off for London on June 16th. And that is what I'm doing. :)

Another good day of eating and exercise. I was happy to see the scale down 2.5lbs from yesterday. I am 3lbs away from my lowest weight (ticker weight). I'm hoping to get there by Friday.

I am curious to see what happens Sunday morning when I weigh in after my walk-a-thon. Last year I was up 3lbs--even though I walked a lot. I thought it was just water weight, but it took several days for my weight to get back down to where it was before I did so much walking. I'll be walking a lot more than last year, so I wonder how it will compare.

This thought has certainly occurred to me. At the moment I appear to be chained to the land of my birth! Being in Europe it would be a very unusual experience for me to go abroad and not experience a foreign language.

Well done for bringing the weight down. You kept your calories nice and low (and nutritionally sound too) so have every chance of some further reduction tomorrow.
