I agree, the last place we stayed in Eureka Springs was a Cottage B&B so it wasn't actually attached to the house, and IF you wanted to join them in the morning for breakfast on the MAIN deck you can, but if not, they brought breakfast out to your deck. And I think they did wine/cheese too once and again if you wish to come into the MAIN house and socialize great, and if not, they just came into your place when you are out and put it in your mini bar it was really great!! I only saw the owners twice, once when I paid and they showed us to our cottage, and then the 2nd day, when I wanted her to show me one of the bigger cottages, she answered questions about local places to eat, and then she was off, as she said, she is really so busy during the day preparing rooms, food and so on, it's hard for her to get real down time. I like to socialize too, but I don't want the pressure of feeling like I have to, and I never do or at least I haven't yet at any of the ones we have stayed in so far.
