BikiniBound's Diary

As to my accent, it comes out the more I'm comfortable with someone or more so around New Yorkers with accents.
that's funny -i've travelled so much over the past 20 years for work that I have virtually no trace of an accent - though when I go back east - I can hear traces of my new york accent come right back - and every so often I hear that oh so grating chicago accent escape me - we really do talk like the people we're around...

Funny, Paul! Like, totally! *terribly annoying Californian accent* Nah, just kidding. I listen to way too much rap music, as some of you may have been able to discern, to sound like Valley Girl from Frank Zappa ;)

Hope you have a great day, Kimberly! Ah to be a live-in nanny in the City....course I'd have to get involved with the wine industry on the side. New York has a good reputation for wine but I've never had any from there....

Morning Good looking!! :) I like sauerkraut and sausage every now and again, but it's apparent, I pretty much like all food. I checked out tickets to fly to Miami and meet Cita, damn 420.00 BIG ONES! I was thinking ummmm, "NOT"!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was willing to possibly go for under 300, but shiat! That's just to damn much this close to the holiday's. I need to plan for my vacation coming up in a month, plus I do a gift exchange/fancy dinner thing with 5 of my best friends, my sis included in this bunch! We have got together every December for the past 4 years, we used to call it a PROGRESSIVE dinner, where we start at one persons house with appetizers, then move on to the next girls house for main course, then the next for dessert and so on.... It was a blast, however, by the end of the night we all had a tad to much to drink and decided to keep it at one house instead, it works perfect, it's so much fun and we all catch up during dinner on the past years stuff. I'm telling you GIRL TIME is a must, and that's why I wish you all lived damn closer, because we would have a hell of a time, and that would be a promise!! Well I hope your day is a good one!! And I agree with VAL, maybe a couple days of 1600-1700 might bring you down to 220's it's hard I know, but I've seen you do it, and actually I've seen you lose a LOT in one week before, so I know you have it in you. Good luck this week. Lots of love XOXOX
Kim

This avi pic is circa 1992--same as the old avi. Ah--to be 22 again!! Sigh...

Well, Cita, bring on the NY accent if we talk this weekend..lol. Especially if you're bitching about something!! Oh, I won't be coming this weekend. There were no sales from mich to fla--except to Jacksonville for $220 roundtrip. Damn. It would've been lots of fun.

Mal--I am from Michigan, which is very similar to the Chicago accent--so don't be hating on it too much. ;)

Paul--your accent is very cute--so don't worry. You sound like an educated Southerner--not a backwoods hick..lmao. The Deliverance Banjos had me cracking up, though!!

Val--I think Cita needs 2 live in nannies..lol. We'd have a blast.

Kim--I am working on it. I'm trying to be good today--but sometimes I can be such a bad, bad, naughty girl..hahahaha. 232 again this morning. I wish we all lived closer, too. I was just looking at a map yesterday and thinking how spread out most of us are. Mal's the closest to me--and that's still a good 3-4hr drive or train ride...lol.

I stil llaugh everytime i hear someone say POP.. when referrring to that bubbly beverage...

LOL--I always say pop. I never say soda...unless I mean club soda.

We have all kinds of berry farms around (a few within a couple miles) where you can pick your own strawberries, blueberries and raspberries--speaking of raspberries--:p

I got 3lbs of honey crisps for $3 last week!! I almost dropped dead from the shock.:eek: They're usually $3 a lb.:eek::eek:

Hey You! :)

So glad yer dad is doin' well!
Sounded like a great day w/GrandMa. ;)

~*Hope ya have A Goal Reachin' Wed!*~ :hug2:

*Smoochies!*

the price of them kills me - and they're my favorite apple -my local grocery stores have had them for over 3bucks a lb - and it's 2 apples per lb - the farmers market (which closes this week ) they were even more expensive..

they're an apple -really crisp, really juicey, and sweet without being cloyingly sweet -the texture of them is what I love - it just has that snap when you bite them..

i am not an apple lover - i hate macintosh and delicious apples because of the texture but these are insanely good...

:drooling: must try one of those soon!!! Love the avtar!!
I have the bad habbit to of saying POP if I asked the kids
would you like a SODA they would be like  I usually
say do want some sprite or POP yeah thats the only POP I
will let in my house with 4 kids NO CAFFINE for them hahaha!
I hope you have a winderful day tammy:hug2:
No rush on the costume I am just so curious and love to see
what peeps are wearing, this is the 1st time I have put 1 on since
I was like 11 or 12 lol.

Okay I say "SODA" and my H laughs at me everytime I do. OH WELL, that's what I say. Do you say Sneaker or Tennis shoe? I say Sneakers. LOL LOL Oh and I LOVE GRANNY SMITH apples, those are my favorite, and I love making home made apple pies with them, my sons loves when I make those.

Let me check something really quick, i want to see if we have timeshare in Michigan, I'll be right back!

What the fuck are honey crisps???? :) *intrigued*

Get your dark mind out of the gutter (is that the pot calling the kettle black or what?? lmao)! As Mal has already explained, they are yummy apples. They're a new variety and thus expensive b/c they're not widely grown, and many of the trees aren't mature yet. They should become more reasonably priced as they become less rare and seasonal.

Looks like we have some in Bellaire, Cedar, Glen Arbor, Boyne Falls, Acme, Harbor Springs, Holland, Mancelona, Stanwood, Thompsonville and TraversCity, are you close to ANY of those locations????

Yeah, 4 kids hyped up on sugar and caffiene is the last thing you need! :)

Saying "pop" isn't a bad habit. It's just a regional term. Nothing to be ashamed of. My Aussie H calls it "soft drink." I find that interesting b/c Aussies tend to shorten every word to one or two syllables as much as they can, hence I'd think they'd love calling it "pop" as it's only one syllable. Lazy bastards...lmao. A sandwich is a sango (that's not even shortening), and a mosquito is a mozzie. <--I like that one.

I'm closest to Holland. All the others are several hours north. Well, Standwood is about 1hr north, but it's a shithole so you wouldn't want to go there! lmao. Holland is right on L. Mich and about 40min from me. So when are you coming up? lol:jump::jump:

Soon, MAYBE!! This is the place that we can book in Holland, we are looking for somewhere to go for December break. Is it nice there in December?? I know it's colder than a freezer, but is it nice?
