Hey Bep,

What is a pluot?

Pineola....a pluot is like a hybrid fruit...a mix of plum and apricot. Mal had a fruitilicious post about them. They are really good.

A plum mixed with an apricot? I knew the government was up to no good. I'm glad I've got my tinfoil helmet to keep me safe.

goodluck

Just stopped by to say keep up the goodwork I can smell the willpower alll the way down here in KY ! Tammy

how you limit yourself with tostitos & salsa I will never know. Once I eat a few I just can't stop. Your discipline is remarkable!

Keep it up, I'm inspired!

Mmm, I've had a real taste for something salty like chips lately so I picked up some fresh salsa and Snyders multi-grain tortilla chips. I can have a dozen for 200 calories and they make a great snack.

I had been so frustrated lately because the baked tostitos were 'gone' while they are working on the new baked tostitos scoops. Well...a nearby WalMart just happened to have some in stock so I bought 3 bags. That will last me until the new scoops come out. You can have 20 chips for 110 cals....can't beat that! I just measure out how much I am going to allow for that snack and put the bag away. 20 - 30 chips and a nice pile of salsa make for a filling snack!

mmm. tostitos and salsa. you are a girl after my own heart. :) i love tostitos too. better than regular chips and the like. my only qualm with it... is that it's soooo yummy. I can't stop after 20-30 chips. They're worst than pringles in my opinion.:p

Hello!!! I too love the salsa and tostitos!!! I've found that salsa is good for lots of snacks!
Try putting it on baked potato for a quick lunch, eggs, cottage cheese, I love to make a mini chicken quesadilla with pre-cooked chicken, salsa, and a sm. wheat wrap. Just toast it up in a non-stick pan and yummy. you can also make mini nachoes by spraying a non-stick pan with cooking spray, putting in a mini corn tortilla, flipping it to crunch up both sides. Then toss on a small amount of chopped peppers and toamtoes, a sprinkling of low-fat cheddar, and top with a dollap of salsa & non-fat sour cream. cut into pieces and you have a perfect snack!! I've become hooked on homemade zuchinni salsa, I just can't go back to a jar!!! Take care and keep up the good work!

Ugh...woke up worse this morning. This head thing has settled in for a week or two stay. :p I am very suseptable to this kind of thing. I used to get 5 - 6 a year, but now I get about 2 - 3 a year. No fun :p

Anyone know how many cals NyQuil & DayQuil have in them? :p

Hang in there. It must be that time of year. My son is super sick, and totally unrelated my knee feels about like it needs surgery.

Whoopee, won't be long now before the kids start bringing home little presents from the daycare...germs.
