Bellaryna's Journey

Okay, two things...

That ticker you have now is the funniest ticker I've seen, it's great!

Can I ever relate on the lack of sleep thing. Wow, sleep deprivation does a number on your system doesn't it? :willy_nilly: Much like working 12 hour days etc.

You oughta have a ticker counting hours with you running towards a pillow:D

Oops! Did I type $2.17..lol. I meant $3.17 per gallon. I guess that was wishful thinking on my part...lol. $2.94 there??? See, I told ya Indiana is cheaper than Michigan.
Yeah but not by much and I am sure not for long now that everything is stabilizing.

I really hope you are getting some sleep as I'm typing this. You NEED it. :)
Sorry to say I never did take that nap. Shameful I know. *grin*

Congrats on eating so well so consistantly. And I hear ya on not seeing the salads on the menu. I "missed" them at Burger King yesterday myself. ;)

Thanks for the kudos on the eating well.
Funny how the healthy stuff seems to just blend in. ;)

I LOVE that ticker!
Fits right in with my saying how it's like the food is calling out to me. Or in this case chasing me down.
At least if it really was chasing me I would burn cals running away! LOL :biggrinjester:
Love the ticker idea about the pillow. ZZZzzzzzz

Never did take that nap yesterday like I said I would. Naughty I know. There was just too much that needed done. And by the time I laid down to take it MIL called wanting me to come over and do something for her.
Didn't eat anywhere near the cals I should have yesterday. Came in at a whopping 1195.
We had pizza from Papa John's for supper but I couldn't bring myself to eat more than one slice. After I plugged it into My Daily Plate and saw the cal count as well as how much it would have jacked up my sodium there was no way I was going to have more than one. The cals/sodium for one slice were 300/750 respectfully. I did have 2 plain breadsticks though. I would have easily had another slice if it wouldn't have been for the sodium. I tried to get the fam to go with a less calorific pizza but they all just about rioted on me. So I threw in the towel, figuring it wasn't worth having them angry at me for "ruining" their pizza experiance. Pfft!
So since yesterday was so slim on the cals today I can have 1784 if I so choose. Bringing me to that 1650 averaged over 7 days.
So far the average (6 days) for all my totals cals, cholesterol, fat ect., ect. have been right with-in the ranges (see the bottom) I want. All except for protein. That is thru the roof. Which is fine by me. If it helps me to not feel like bingeing I am all for it.
Weighed in this morning with a new/old low. I don't know how to call it since I did actually get to 184 back in April. So is it a "new" low or just lower? Who knows?
Anyhow I came in at 200.2lbs. Soooooo close to "One"derland again. Again with the lack of sleep, I wonder if I could have had a whole night (today was 4am YMCA day), would the number be lower. I guess I just need to get to bed and catch some ZZZzzzz's to find out that answer.
Dh and I sat down last night and revamped the budget. Since starting the Financial Peace University back in the spring we have paid off all our credit cards (cut 'em up too!) and refinanced the car at a slightly lower rate.
So we were trying to figure what else could we do to trim up the budget. After much thought and angst we decided that in the best interest of our family it would do well for us to cut the satellite down to the basic basic package and to stop the internet here at home as well as the land line. This will save us about $100 a month.
I'll still be able to get on the internet except now I will have to go to the library. No biggy there. It will probably be the best for me in the long run health wise too, since I end up cruising the net when I could be doing other things. Say like exercising! LOL The library has a time limit of an hour, so when the time is up you are automatically kicked off. No more wastful time spent cruisin' when I should be doing.
I think the person who will be hit the hardest will be my step-son. If he is not plugged in to something it would seem that he can't function.
Well anyway I just wanted to let you all know what was going on. I am not sure when that will take effect, so if suddenly it seems that I am gone you will know what is up.
Apparently these companies can move pretty fast when they want to shut something off or downgrade it but if you are ordering it they are in snail mode.
Ciao

Nice budgeting! Good show! :hurray:

You ARE so close to Onderland---wow I forgot you were down to the 180s a while back. With your dedication there's not doubt you'll be back there :) Keep on trucking! Cute ticker :rotflmao:

You're doing great on keeping your calories in line and getting back to one-derland. Now, just do the same with your sleeping schedule on the weekends!

Whah...I don't like it that you're not going to be on here as much. :(

Gas is now $3.05 here--you're still cheaper. I've always found Northern Indiana to be cheaper than here.

Congrats on being soo close to onederland again.

We'll have to get together soon--maybe next week? Before all the leaves fall off the trees. It's so beautiful here right now. Granny and I are going on our annual color tour on Thursday--it'll be nice that gas has gone down a lot..lol.

Weighed in at an even 200 on Wednesday morning. I swear that scale is just messing with me! LOL :biggrinjester:
Going down in .2 increments is painstaking! :toetap05:
Anywho, ended up eating some things I shouldn't have yesterday and today. Way too much sodium both days. Ended up at 202.4 this morning. And since I know I did not eat in excess of 7000 cals yesterday I am not concerned. I know it is the sodium. And again a short night of sleep due to the 4am YMCA job.
Was doing well yesterday until dh brought home a slice of my fav kind of pizza. Made a cake for the fam and before the night was done had 2 pieces at 410 cals a pop!
Did get to Kelly's class last night, though I didn't push it like I have in the past. The shoulder's are just grinding and popping waaaay to much. But at least I was doing more than just sitting home on my butt. LOL
And for some reason I had this incrediable craving today for a double cheeseburger. So went ahead and got one with fries/no salt. Figured I could calorie shift things to allow myself the burger.
Though I am not counting the exercise yesterday towards burned off cals like they do on The Daily Plate. I added up today's and yesterday's "before" cals did the subtracting from the total I should have for the week and divided by the remaining days. I came up with 1535 cals a day.
That's about 115 cals lower than normal. But I guess that is the price I will have to pay for indulging. *oh well*
I know I could count the exercise but Kelly's class is so non-traditional that I really don't know what to caterogize it under. I always just say it is an aerobics class. Though we are not bouncing around nearly that much. Now if I get on the ellipitical then I will use those numbers since it is a no brainer on that one.
So like I said.........1535 for now.
Well I gotta go. We got company coming over tonight and I need to get the house spotless!
Catch ya'll later~

Howdy sweetie! :waving:

I hear ya on cut-backs!!!

I'm looking for a 2nd job at this time for Sat-Sunday..(waitress)

I'll miss hearing from ya as often!
You gotta do what ya gotta do though, we all do.. :hug2:

*Hang in there and enjoy your company tonight!* :)

<3 Ya!

Stacy

It would be nice if your H was a bit more supportive of your weight loss efforts. Sounds like he enjoys sabotaging them rather often.

But regardless, congrats on being on the verge of onederland.

Gas update..lol. Got it for $2.83 per gallon today--with a 10 cent per gallon off coupon..lol

Guess what, I just changed my ticker before I even popped in here! Great minds I tell ya!

Well thanks for finally returning my movie to me. Now we'll see how long it takes me to get your pictures back! ;)

~*Have A Happy Monday Dawn.*~ :hug2:

- Miss Ya! -

I'm gettin' ready for work and wanted ta pop by to check in. ;)

I hope things are lookin' up and gettin' better for ya.

I do sometimes wonder if he is not doing just that. But not intentionally. It is much easier to not face a weight problem (which he has as well) if it is not so obvious that you are remaining the same while someone close to you is changing.

As for the gas update I am 4 days since your post but got it today for $2.65/gallon. So we still gotcha beat. *grin* Had the attendant tell me today that she was told to expect the price to drop at least another .30 cents this week.
Sounds like we need to get together soon.

Let's hope not at long as it took me to get you your movie! :smilielol5:
And yes Great Minds think alike!

Howdy Everyone!!!
How sad! My internet isn't even shut off yet and I wasn't able to get on in like 5 days. You all must have thought that I was gone for sure. LOL
Just been soooo busy.
The cal counting went out the window this week. At first I couldn't figure what was the difference between this week and the last one. Then I hit on what I think the major difference was.
I ran outta my meds last week on Tues/Wed and just today took the bottle to the pharmancy. I know, I know. Feel free to kick my butt. I just kept forgetting to take it in. The one day that I took everyone else's scripts in I forgot mine and just never made it back to the store.
So this week has been pretty much a wash. Up until Sat I was still weighing in at 200.2, but after yesterday's eating frenzy and today's bingy type eating I am afraid to weigh myself tomorrow.
I at least know that it won't be all true weight. There will be some sodium weight in there.
Soooo let's see what has gone on while I was gone.
Hmmm.
Went to work like I usually do. Didn't get home on Saturday until 4:30am. Dh let me sleep until 11. When I got up I stated that I thought it would be nice for us to all go outside and spend time together as a family. So we headed off to the local (or as local as it gets for us) State Park to do some walking/hiking. Chain O' Lakes State Park to be exact.
Though before we got out of town we stopped and grabbed lunch. At the Chinese Buffet. *Cringe :blush5:*
I didn't make a :piggy: of myself. And truth be told it tasted like crap. Even dh agreed it wasn't very good tasting. I hadn't been to a Chinese buffett in at least a year and a half. And if I never ever go back to one I won't be upset.
We did end up walking/hiking for like 1-1 1/2 hours. And surprisingly enough Sunday was the day that I got the 200.2 number.
I am beginning to think that I have an aversion to going below that 200 mark.
Everytime I get "just about there" I have a diversion.
Of course not taking my meds didn't help last week.
I plan to run out the door here in about 5 minutes to go get said meds.
I NEED THEM! LOL
I keep having really bad allergy attacks that are preventing me from making to my PowerCore class.
I am highly allergic to soybean dust and it seems that this year there was a bumper crop of farmers with beans in the fields. Hopefully once they all get their beans in I will quit having all these attacks.
Can't even begin to imagine how bad it would be to actually live out in the country next to them actually harvesting.
Well I know this will seem a weird place to end my update but if I am going to make it to the store in time to get the meds than I really need to get going.
I'll check back in soon.
Ciao :seeya:

You're probably right about your H. He wouldn't be the first spouse to do that. :D Might be worth talking to him about it b/c he might not even realize he's doing it. Then use the body is a temple unto the Lord line on him. Nothing he can say about that, 'cause it's true. ;) He needs to set an example to his family and congregation..blah blah blah..lol..oh yes, I'm full of wit and wisdom..:smilielol5:

$2.65! I saw it here today for $2.78 so you're still ahead of us. I guess the lady at my gym was right a few weeks ago when she said she heard it was going to get down to $2.50. :hurray: At least that's one good thing about this economic turmoil. :)

HOpe you got your meds. :p You are still on the verge of onederland, so if you stick to the plan the next few days, I see the scale behaving itself. :)

Got any time to meet up this week?

Got any time to meet up this week?

Snap! I am full booked up this week. Gotta work on T/TH and take mom to an appt on Wed. And of course back to the salt mine on Friday.
What about next Wed?
Wed's are my best days. I could see if someone wanted to trade a shift for next Tues if that would work as well.

Just got back from Wallyworld.
I swear they should just give me a revolving debit card. You know when I get paid they could just load the card and then I could go "unload" it! LOL
I feel like I am always there.
Barely got my meds. Didn't realize that I was out of checks so was lucky that I had some cash in my pocket. I usually don't carry any cash. To easy to "eat" it. Making that if I have it on me I am likely to spend it on fast food.

Kimberly, Thank You for the encouragement on the weight/scale. I know that I will get there. I did once before and it wasn't that long ago. So I know I can do it. I just need to get myself back to a good place.
I really miss all your challenges that we use to do. Perhaps you could get one going again for the holidays? Please. *giggling*
I know among all the other things you got going on you certainly don't have time to run a challenge.

Well Dh is hollering from the other room that Hero's is on, so I gotta run again! LOL
Chat at everyone tomorrow.
