I was told last year that I shouldn't be having caffeine due to some issues with-in my head (go ahead bring on the jokes! LOL)

:biggrinjester: I can't come up with a single one! I'm drinking tea right now--Oohlong. It's delicious, I use agave nectar to sweeten it up :D

Um, my weight is crazy in the am, too--sometimes it drops after I get up and move around. Could be your body using up stored glycogen and that outweighed your b-fast, I dunno. Have you read this?

I had never heard of Glycogen. The article was very informative. Sure would explain why sometimes I weigh less before bed than I did in the morning. Which of course always gurantees a low in the morning! LOL
 
You know though I weigh myself everyday I don't allow myself to get my undies in a bunch over the number that I see.
I really use the scale more as a tool.
I know things are going well or not so well by how my clothes fit or don't fit. And by how I am feeling.
I love this forum 'cuz of people like you. You have way more knowledge in some things than I do. And you care enough to share that knowledge.

Real Quick~
Weighed the same this morning as yesterday.
201.2
Sleep schedule was all jacked up though so not sure how accurate the total could be.
Ended up working 12 1/2 hours straight. And being in the freezer that long left me nearly freezer burnt! LOL
I was sooooo cold when I got home. Haven't been that cold in a long time.
Slept from 4:30am to 11am.
Well gotta go.
Oldest ds is having his girlfriend over for lunch so we can get to "know" her.
She seems like a sweet girl. But we'll see. hahaha

Few things annoy me more than screaming children in stores and restaurants..lol. I promise right now on a stack of Bibles that I will never reward my screaming brat with a candy bar (or anything else) for bad behavior. I think I will tell them before we start that if they are good they'll get X treat. If they are not good, they'll get some serious consequences when we get home (or to the car). :D I will try not to take them to the store with me at all if I can avoid it. :willy_nilly:

Keep plugging away and that scale will go below 200. :) Does Arby's have salads?? :biggrinjester:

Gas is $2.17 per gallon here now. :svengo:

$2.17 that's great! I keep telling dh if we wait one more week, maybe it will be back to a Dollar! :smilielol5: It was $2.94 here earlier today.

I think not taking kiddos to the store is a good thing, but sometimes it can't be avoided. Just use natural consequences, and never ever give in!!! LOL

Just be careful what you do in your car. Some lady got caught on tape spanking her dd out in the parking lot. Of course she was taking it to far and it turns out she was beating her for all the wrong reasons. CNN.com - Mother says she's 'mortified' by videotaped beating - Sep. 22, 2002 I personally vote for the "wait until we get home" method. Then they have to squirm a bit. Even if all you do is put them in their room. The sweating it out is sometimes worse than the actual punishment.
I am sure Arby's has salads...........just couldn't find them. *wink, wink*

Man I can tell that my wacky sleep schedule has everything messed up this weekend. Had another late night with even less sleep. Going to church this morning. So got up 2 1/2 hours earlier than I did yesterday. Did go to bed 1/2 an hour sooner. But lets not split hairs here. Four in the morning is still four in the morning. No matter how you slice it.
Weight was 202 even.
I am still doing really well with the eating. Best I have done in a long time. I have put my food on My Daily Plate for the last 4 days straight, today will be the 5th day. I am shooting for 1650 a day. Knowing that some days are higher than others and some days lower I am now calculating that I need to stay at 1531 to round out a perfect week.
But I am far from perfect so we'll see where it gets me.
The Girlfriend was or at least seemed to be a nice girl. It would appear that she has some issues with her dad. Not sure what they are but got the general idea that she doesn't really care for him. Bad attitude. She said something to the effect "Yeah Dad gets up every morning and says to himself What can I do today to make P**** mad". (not gonna put her real name since she's not my kid) Not sure if there are trust issues on the part of the dad. Or of he is just a control freak. But he has her on a pretty tight leash. Hopefully it is just he is overprotective and not that she has done something in the past that warrents such behavior on his part. Would really suck if my step-son got himself tangled up with someone who had loads of issues to start with.
Well I gotta get ready for church so will chat at everyone later.

You's have to forgive me any typos I may make. I haven't had very much sleep in the last 3 days.
Got home 1/2 an hour earlier every night, but lets face it when it is 4 in the morning and you got to get up at 7 that half hour really doesn't mean jack!!! LOL
So I am really exahusted. *must get sleep*
The only reason I am currently able to stay awake while I am tying this is due to the fact that I have some seriously kicking music on, LOUDLY! hahaha
Weighed myself this morning with a wegiht of 201.4lbs.
Since I know for a fact that I always weigh better when I have at least 6-7 hours of sleep I have to wonder if it wouldn't have been better. Since I only got 3 hours!
Really all weekend all I got was 13.5 hours in 3 days. Sheesh! It's a wondre I haven't just passed out. :smilielol5:
I have kept my cals intact to the 1650 for almost a week now. With the claorie shifting some days were higher some days were lower.
But when it averages out it comes in right where I wanted it.
My shoulders have been bothering me again, so I have not gone to Kelly's class in 2 weeks. I am hoping to get back to it tonight.
Though the doc has orderd me to get x-ray;s due to the fact that they make some seriously gross noises when I rotate them. Hurts like crap when I do rotate them. All the popping and such.
I don't know what he expects to find out from the x-rays since I am pretty sure their not broken! LOL *shrugging........carefully!* LOL :biggrinjester:
If I don't do Kelly's class I am going to definately get to the Y and jump on the Arc Trainer. What good is it for me to watchthe cals like a hawk if I am not going to supplement with a little exercise?
Well sicne I think I am most likely rambling I am gonna head on out of here.

I can't give in to my kids b/c I've spent too many years telling other parents how to raise their kids, hahaha, :blush5: so I have to stick to my guns. :biggrinjester:

Congrats on eating so well so consistantly. And I hear ya on not seeing the salads on the menu. I "missed" them at Burger King yesterday myself. ;)

For some reason we're higher than most other places - like FL and MO - and just about any other place I've gone lately. Haven't been to MI in awhile though. ;)
