Being a responsible adult! Weight loss n stuff...

Yesterday wasn't a perfect day, got pretty snacky when I got home from work. Still managed a half decent weigh in, was 68.5kgs. Probably would've been better if I hadn't carb and sodium loaded right before bed! Just had breakfast, have PT at 9.15 (leg day), the rest of today all my plans are to keep bulk watching Entourage with my husband. Lazy day!!!

Food plan for today

B 150g light Greek yogurt, 1/3 cup raspberries, 1/2 cup muesli
Pre workout 4 Brazil nuts
Post workout Protein shake
S Banana, 40g nuts
L Mountain bread pizza with chicken
S 2 hardboiled eggs, 1 carrot
D 130g chicken breast, 2 cups veg, gravy

Exercise PT session legs)

Leg workout went for almost an hour again! Yikes. I think tomorrow will be about the same. Changed my Thu morning session to Fri, he said that one will only be half an hour because the HIIT might kill me. Haha. Means my week will be a little more relaxed, I think I'm still going to try to do body balance tomorrow after my PT session, then Pilates on Wed and if I have enough time on Thu I might head there straight from work to try to get to boxing, otherwise just body balance that evening too... then PT Fri morning. Wade has Fri off so I don't need to walk that day.

Ended up making a smoked salmon mountain bread pie thing for lunch, was so good! Made the husband pizza and other than that, have been having a very super chilled out day.

Food plan for tomorrow

B Baked blueberry oatmeal
Post workout Protein shake
S Banana, 40g almond butter
L Same smoked salmon pie as today
S 2 hardboiled eggs, carrot
D Pumpkin soup and bacon

Exercise PT, possibly body balance if I'm not too sore

Damn, wrote out a heap of stuff and then my computer crashed. Writing on my phone now as now as my computer won't connect to the net, arrgh!

The snack monster attacked last night, decided to just give in and have my cheat meal. Just had guacamole on crackers. TOM is just around the corner so that's where I'm laying blame! I'll just be good the rest of the week.

I unexpectedly got a work email last night saying I'd made commission the first quarter, yay! Was unexpected because their budgets arw ridiculously high and I didn't make any. Turns out over a certain amount you get a percentage of what a full payment would've been. Haha, I've already spent most of it... paid a couple of small bills, bought protein (which I would've got next pay anyway, now I don't need to wait) got a watch I've been lusting after, and also got a jacket. The rest I'm putting towards airfares for when we fly home at the beginning of July. (6 weeks from yesterday!! Lets hope I can be 65 point something by then!!!)

Mystic- Haha I work in a sales job. Generally we have budgets (that are mainly there for decoration really, they are completely unfair) and the way it usually works is if you make budget you get a bonus. The old system we had to make 100% to get a set amount, then they changed it to 80% would get us 80% of the set bonus amount (also if we made say 150% of the budget we'd get 150% of the bonus amount etc) but they have seemingly changed it again in that last meeting I was on holidays for, as I was paid 2 months commission at more than my set amount for barely making 70%. No idea what the commission structure is now but I'm not complaining!! I don't rely on commission anyway, I have a really high hourly wage for a permanent job so getting sales doesn't stress me out as much as the people that actually work directly for the store, as they get minimum wage per hour and then rely on earning commission to bring up their earnings (mind you, minimum wage in Aus is WAY more than minimum in the US).

I had a day where I ate ALL THE FOOD yesterday, not entirely sure why (I'm going to blame TOM). Moving on, getting right back on with it today. I'm just accepting that these days happen every now and then, they are likely to happen when I'm at my goal weight too. Not into beating myself up or feeling guilty anymore!!

Ash has the day off so I get to spend some time with him! We actually have no plans though so I was thinking of ducking out to do pilates at 10.30am, we'll see.

Oooh my new watch came today, I LOVE IT!!! So very cool. So did my jacket. I love waking up to parcels!! CHRISTMAS EVERY DAY!

Food plan for today

B Wasn't hungry AT ALL when I woke up, just had a Quest bar
S 2 hardboiled eggs, 1 carrot
Post workout (only if I go to pilates) protein shake
L Chicken and salad mountain bread wrap
S My 1 minute apple pie- 130g tinned apple, mixed with 1 drop liquid stevia and 1/2 tsp cinnamon, topped with 40g nut butter and microwaved for 40secs. Try it, it's freakin amazeballs.
D Pumpkin soup and bacon

Exercise Possibly pilates, possibly nothing... I'm living dangerously.

Well that's good about the money then!
That's great that you are getting right back on it after having a less than ideal eating day! Push on!

Morning all!

Didn't get to the gym yesterday but food was good. Today I'm walking to work, then going to body balance tonight.

Going to smash out 4 perfect days now!

Todays food

B Baked raspberry oatmeal
S Quick apple pie
L 130g salmon, 1/2 cup sweet potato, green beans and broccoli with 2 tbsp light cream cheese
S 2 hard boiled eggs
D Mountain bread wrap with 2 eggs, cream cheese, tomato
Post workout Protein shake

Exercise 50min walk, 1hr body balance class

Perfect day down, 3 to go! Ended up leaving work 1.5hrs early today, my hip was screwed. Wade hurt his back yesterday too so we decided to go to the chiropractor, traffic was awful so it took forever. Decided to get dinner while we were out, I went to a carvery and got roast beef and steamed veg (no gravy) and by the time we got home I'd missed the gym class. Oh well!

Tomorrow I have a HIIT PT session at 8am, also don't have to walk to work tomorrow as Wade has the day off.

Food plan for tomorrow

B 1/2 cup muesli, 150g yogurt, 1/3 cup frozen raspberries
Post workout Protein shake
S 130g Salmon, 1/2 cup sweet potato, 2 cups veg
L Smoothie
S 2 hardboiled eggs
D Thai chicken curry with shirataki noodles and stir fry veg mix

Exercise 30min HIIT PT session

Had my HIIT session this morning... after the first 15mins I felt SO sick, had a pretty long break... got through the rest of the workout but had the worst stomach cramps ever, me in my head thinking WTF is going home, I know I'm fitter than this...! And get home to find out TOM has started. Had the worst pain all day! Kinda amplifies the hip issue, though my hip is more of a muscle pain now from being adjusted yesterday. Walking to work tomorrow might be an issue, will have to see how I go.

Food today has been perfect again, I changed my dinner though. Having a chicken noodle soup (with the shirataki noodles) and added some bacon in there too. Also turned my morning snack today into a seafood quiche type thing that I had with sweet potato, just did that so I could cook and have it tomorrow and the next day too.

2 more perfect days to go!!

Food plan for tomorrow

B Baked raspberry oatmeal
S Seafood quiche
L Smoothie
S Protein bar
D Chicken and bacon noodle soup

Exercise If my body works I'll be walking to work. Don't really have an alternative sorted if it's not, might have to call a coworker to come and get me!

Whoops, few days absent. Last week was really terrible, ended with me going to the movies on Sunday and eating a truckload of popcorn. Weighed in at 69.3kgs the next day which surprised me, thought it'd be a lot worse! Aiming for 68kg next Monday, I know TOM and all the popcorn influenced my weigh in this week so it should be fairly easy if I stay on track.

Arrrgh my stupid freakin hips/knees are playing up again, not so bad as a few years ago when I couldn't walk but I'm terrified of ever getting to that stage again! Did a PT session this morning which was really good, it was a leg session and the PT has actually had a milder version of the same issues so we were really careful. It doesn't bother me so much while exercising, it's very much if I'm on my feet for a while or walking to work (which is very quickly becoming impossible!) My left IT band is pulling pretty bad now, I know that's my fault for putting off the chiropractor for so long (my right hip was terrible last week, much better now but the IT band thing is stickin around). Unsure if it's causing my left hamstring to over-activate (or it's my hamstring causing my IT band issues) but it's making walking really difficult after about 20mins. Also doing things like step-ups this morning- no issue with my right leg, but after a couple on my left my glute switches off and my hamstring goes freakin nuts.

I might've mentioned it before but my gym has a masseuse that works there, I have a free 30min session with her that I'm using this arvo. Going to get her to strip my IT band, it's pretty necessary at this point (my physio used to do it, I know people qualified in remedial/deep tissue massage can do it too, also this chick does dry needling so she should be able to release it for me). Further sessions with her are covered by my health insurance so I should be able to get a session fortnightly without it costing me much at all.

Grocery shopping today, I think my husband is doing it though before he leaves work. He prefers it rather than coming home and going back out again to a different store, fair enough. He knows where everything in his store is too. Actually a bit worried about him, he's been having really disturbed sleep for about a month now. He told me he's having nightmares but he won't tell me what they're about (weird for him too, he doesn't really have dreams ever or at least doesn't remember them). Asked him if he wanted to see a professional of some kind to talk it out with if he didn't want to discuss it with me but he shot that down right away. He just looks like a zombie and has suddenly gained a fair amount of weight. Poor guy! Just don't know how to help him.

Food for today

B Quest bar (out of most breakfast food, need to grocery shop!)
Post workout I made PB protein ice-cream, it was amaaaaazing
L Salmon, sweet potatoes, 2 cups of veg
S 2 hardboiled eggs
D Prawn fried rice (shirataki rice) with 2 cups mixed stir fry veg and 2 egg whites

Exercise PT session (legs)

I hope you are able to get your body feeling better!
I hope your husband is able to get over what he's dealing with. That sounds difficult.

Perfect day down! Hoping to keep this up the rest of the week!

Food plan for tomorrow

B Wrap with 2 eggs and cottage cheese
Post workout PB icecream
L Salmon, sweet potato and 2 cups salad
S Protein bar
D Pumpkin soup, chicken sausages

Exercise PT (back)

Completely on track for today!!! Got roped into extra exercise- I'd finished my back workout (which went for over an hour, I'll have you know!) and the Pilates instructor that I had the other week walked in and recognised me. Asked me if I was sticking around for the Pilates class in 10mins... Haha, decided why not. Then he asked me what I wanted to do, I requested glutes and lots of hip stretching. Holy cow, it was a pretty full on session!!!

My hips/knees are actually being a lot better today, combination of doing the rehab exercises and getting that massage yesterday I think. First time in weeks they're actually not bothering me at all! I'm sure the Pilates would've helped too (the only reason I stuck around, haha!)

It was almost 12pm when I got home, so I had my morning snack and cooked lunch in between doing a few other meal preppy bits n pieces (baked oatmeal, boiled eggs, sorted husbands dinner/lunch tomorrow) then had lunch and cleaned up. So I can chill out the rest of the day now!!

Tomorrow, depending on how my knee/hips are, I might walk to work (otherwise I'll grab an Uber) but I'm planning on doing the Body balance class tomorrow night.

B Baked blueberry and cherry oatmeal
S 130g apple, 40g almond butter
L Wrap with chicken, cottage cheese and salad
S Smoothie
D Pumpkin soup, 2 chicken sausages
Post workout Wrap with 2 eggs and cottage cheese

Exercise Possibly walking to work, body balance class

Thanks Mystic, feels like I'm getting there again!

Peeked at the scales this morning as I wanted to see if the water weight was gone, I got 68.3kgs. Much happier with that, hoping really hard that I can be 67 point something by Monday!! The only thing that might throw me off a little is we are going to the movies to see Entourage tomorrow night in the premium cinema, so getting dinner while we're there... I looked at the menu and the healthiest thing I could see was steamed dumplings. I don't even know how big a serve it is, I know I can just leave some behind. Either that or I'll grab an appetiser plate, there was one with buffalo chicken served with ranch and celery. I'll ask about the food tomorrow!

Today should be easily perfect, my hip and knee are still fine so I think I'll walk to work. I should be fine for one day anyway, I don't have to walk any other day this week as husband has Fri/Sat off and Wade has Sunday. Public holiday here Monday too, going to have to ask at the gym on Fri if there's any classes on!

Food plan for tomorrow

B 1/2 cup muesli, 150g light Greek yogurt, 1/3 cup raspberries
Post workout Protein shake
S Pumpkin soup, 2 chicken sausages
L Smoothie
S 2 hard boiled eggs
D Dinner at the movies, likely one of the things I mentioned above with a decaf skinny latte

Exercise PT session
