Being a responsible adult! Weight loss n stuff...

I'm feeling really good today!!! Slept in till just before 8am, only had the one coffee then went and did my workout, followed by a massage... then a really awesome bacon and egg wrap for lunch. I also had a decaf coffee with that one! Kind of feeling floaty in the head again, not really light-headed or dizzy, just vague? I wonder if I'm a bit low on iron after TOM and from exercising a lot more. I'm eating plenty of meat, if I still feel like this at the end of the week I might go and ask for a blood test and see if I'm low on something. Could even be something as simple as electrolytes being low or something, no idea!

Workout was pretty epic this morning, and massage was amaaaazing. My leg is so much better. I told her if it plays up a heap this week I'll be getting another one same time next week.

Also some boots I ordered arrived, so now I can have warm feet haha. Just in an all round good mood!

B GF roll with 1 egg and 1 slice shortcut bacon
Pre workout 4 Brazil nuts
Post workout Choc protein pudding
L 2 turkey sausages, sweet potato and cauli mash, broccoli
S Carrot with 40g hummus
D Cheat meal- homemade pizza
S Post workout protein shake

Exercise PT (upper body), possibly doing a hula class tomorrow night
 
Decided I wanted my cheat meal today, so I did it!! Made a massive pizza, only ended up eating half... then I had a Quest bar and a tbsp of PB. Haha, probably the tamest 'cheat' I've had in a long while and I'm still stuffed 6 hours later. Days like these I just wonder how the hell I sometimes went a whole week eating twice the amount in one day!

Anyhoo... perfect day 2! Tomorrow is going to end up being pretty different now though, my lunch will be a chicken and salad wrap and my dinner will be the pumpkin soup and sausages. Also, Wade can't go to hula anymore because of his back so I might stick around and do pilates after PT if I'm not too sore.
 
Damn. BIG workout today. Going to be sore! My butt is killing me from yesterday too.

I think I'm going to head to the dr soon, not liking the trippy head feeling. It didn't affect my workout but going from lying on a bench doing skull crushers, then standing to do biceps gave me a bit of a head rush. Not pleasant. Could really be anything, I'll get him to check my BP (which was fine a few months ago, something like 110/75) and my ears, and if that's all good iron/b12/etc. Haven't had a blood test in over a year anyway and I've been training pretty hard, good idea to get it all checked anyway. Wonder if my recent anxiety issue is related too.

Food has been spot on, my protein pudding was awesome! Also still sticking to the one caffeinated coffee still, just had a decaf after my pudding. Leg and hip are way better today after massage, not looking forward to the trek to the dr though (even though it's only 10-15mins).

Ohhhh totally forgot to mention in my above post, I did a 70kg lat pulldown today! Which is more than I weigh, and I busted out 6 reps! I guess that means I should be trying chin ups? Just weird being able to pull more than I weigh!!

Thanks ladies, I'm actually really keen to start trying chin ups now! I didn't even realise how heavy it was until I'd finished and the PT told me. I was like whaaaaaaaaaat haha.

Didn't end up going to the Dr today, kind of couldn't be bothered after I did a bit more food prep stuff. I feel ok again, will just see how I go. Ash is home tomorrow so I have a lift to the Dr if I want to go either in the morning or evening.

What I really popped in to say was... Perfect day 3 down!!!!
 
I solved the dizziness issue on my own. I think it was lack of electrolytes, so last night I made myself veg in 500ml chicken stock and drank it all and I'm fine. So I'm going to jump on iherb and grab some of those super low cal nuun electrolyte mixes because I don't really want to be having stock all the time! I'd say I'm just sweating a lot more and drinking a lot more so I'm losing them and watering them down lol.

Anyhoo... Not going to the Dr! I'll go to body balance at 10.30am then work 1-5.

Perfect day 4 today, yewwwwwwwwwwwww!!! On a roll!!! Went to the physio after work for my hip/knee, had a fair bit of stretching and stuff done and I go back on Tue. She thinks I have a bit of hip instability which is causing all my issues. Didn't get home till late though and by then I was STARVING, so glad my dinner was already prepped and ready to go!!! Prepped lunches for Sat and Sun too as I cooked a massive amount of chicken today.

Tomorrow I have PT at 9am, work 11-3, movie at 7.30. So stuff to do but also time in between so should be a good day!! Food is all ready to go so no excuses!
 
PT this morning was canceled, he offered to do a session either 6am tomorrow or 7am Sunday but I decided to take the rest. Haha I actually have plans this weekend, didn't want to get up early. Hey, I did something 4 days this week and I'm still pretty sore. I might possibly get up and go to body pump tomorrow, we'll see (it's not too early, it's 8.30-9.30). I've been invited to the casino tomorrow night for birthday drinks with a heap of people from work, thought I should put in an appearance even if I'm only there for a couple of hours. I've already decided I wouldn't be drinking, it'll just be plain soda water with lemon or diet coke.

Sooo... food for today changes slightly. I haven't quite decided what to have yet but I think I'll bake a chicken/spinach/cheese/tomato/egg white omelette for morning tea (and skipping the protein shake). Everything else is the same!

I have to mention, Cate made a big point a while ago in my diary about my husband possibly feeling insecure... that absolutely (and unexpectedly) came up yesterday! On Wed night he said he would be home late from work on Thu as he wanted to go to the gym after work, and I kind of went 'Really?' not being a smartass, more in surprise as if he ever went to the gym it was first thing in the morning. ANYWAY... he texted me as he was leaving work yesterday, saying he wasn't going to the gym after all, so I just said OK... next SECOND (like he must've started typing the text right after the first one was sent) I got a text asking me if I thought he needed to go to the gym and 'Did I think he was a fatty?' We texted for a bit but had a proper conversation when we got home, it was less that he was worried that I thought he was fat and more that he was worried I thought he was lazy. More because I go to the gym almost daily, and on his days off he likes to do nothing. I was honest with him, his weight is fine but he should try to stay healthy (his dad had a heart attack a few months ago) and it's completely up to him what he does on his days off. I told him my gym habits are more of a hobby and shouldn't reflect on him at all, I do it for my own reasons. Same with how I like baking, I wouldn't expect him to suddenly start making things in the kitchen because I enjoy it. I was honestly completely caught off guard though, had no idea he was feeling that way.

S 130g marinated chicken breast, caulitots, 1 cup mixed veg, gravy
L Smoothie
S 2 hard boiled eggs
D 130g roast beef, 2 cups broccoli/green beans, gravy

Exercise Might get up for body pump, hmmmm. If I do I'll be having food as above but adding in a protein shake after my workout and a 1/2 cup sweet potato to my dinner.
 
Glad you were able to talk things through with your husband. I'm sure he feels better getting it off his chest and hopefully it helps him deal with those feelings.
 
Perfect day 5 today!! Yay!! Just got back from Jurassic World too, loved it. Husband fell asleep, haha. Poor guy, long day today!
 
Morning all. I did consider going to body pump but decided against it, my hip/knee were ok yesterday but I wasn't going to push my luck, I still have a 5 hour work shift to get through today!

Don't think my day will be very exciting but going to the cas for a couple hours tonight so that should be fun! I haven't actually hung out with anyone from work yet outside of work.

Thanks Mystic!! Perfect day 6 now!!! Just washed and styled my hair for tonight. My knee has been feeling kinda stabby this arvo so will have to take some painkillers before I go out. Grrr. Not drinking tonight, I have a casino voucher so will have a little gamble and that's it.

Going to make sure tomorrow is perfect and then weigh in Mon!
 
Urgh. So last night ended up being a much bigger one than planned, oh man. Didn't get home till 2.30am, and only left because my knee started hurting after dancing for a couple of hours. Ended up having 2 ciders, 1.5 glasses of wine and a shot of tequila. Then washed it down with McDonalds on the drive home- a McFlurry, large fries and a cheeseburger. Yikes.

Today has been much better food wise, I'm so tired though! Tomorrows weigh in will be totally screwy now, nothing throws it more than alcohol. Only need to lose 200g to be on target this week and I'm sure I would have easily lost at least that without the water weight so whatever the scale says tomorrow I'm not going to read too much into it! Starting fresh tomorrow.

Damn. 68.5kg today, knew it wouldn't be good!! Reminder to myself- alcohol is NEVER WORTH IT. Seriously, it's like I have to do this to myself every 6 months to confirm it! Throws my weight out, all my minor pains become crippling, the tiredness is awful... not to mention how I want to eat everything after a few drinks. Anyway, I know I still would have managed to lose weight last week so I'm just getting on with it! The goal for next Monday is 66.5kgs.

I let myself sleep in as late as I needed today and missed the class I was going to go to, debating going to a later one (there's a body pump class at 10.30). Might do that!
