Knocked out another perfect day. Work was dead and very boring, but all good...not expecting to sell a heap of fridges and freezers just before Christmas anyway, and I've already made budget for the month.

Just had a crazy thunderstorm, it didn't go for long but the thunder sounded like constant gunshots! The thunderstorms are pretty constant at the moment. Hopefully the weather will be clear by the time I walk to work tomorrow morning.

I don't have much time in the morning tomorrow so thought I'd write the food plan now.

Food for tomorrow

Pre workout Water with lemon, 4 Brazil nuts

B 1/2 cup fruit free muesli with 1/4 cup almond milk, 1/3 cup raspberries, 1 tsp chia seeds, 60g coconut milk yogurt
S Mountain bread pizza with 1 pc mountain bread, 130g chicken breast, tomato paste, spinach, fresh tomato, 3x light laughing cow cheese wedges
L (at work) Smoothie with 150ml unsweetened coconut milk (carton not can), handful of ice + 100ml water, 1/2 cup blueberries, 2 tbsp. coconut milk yogurt, 30g unflavoured whey protein, 1 tsp chia seeds, 1 tsp honey
S CHEAT MEAL- 2 scoops of ice-cream from Baskin Robbins (yay, so excited)

Oh man, I had the worst day ever today. I've been worried about my cat still the last couple of days, and this morning she looked positively miserable so I called the vet and had her booked in for 5pm. I was eating my morning snack at around 9.30 when she suddenly vomited everywhere, so I called the vet back and they said to bring her in right then (I start work at 11 and usually start walking at 9.45). Thought I could still make it, but it took me 30mins to catch her (and my arms are completely shredded from trying to get her in the carrier too) then I called a taxi which went to the wrong address, so that took an extra 20mins. Dropped her at the vet and it was nearly 10.30, couldn't get hold of my colleague to come and grab me so I walked about 15mins and managed to get another rep to respond to me on FB, she came and got me. I was about 20mins late but I'd called ahead and stayed an extra 20mins after so all good.

Cat had a claw that had stabbed into her paw pad and had gotten infected, at the other vet they obviously hadn't been looking at her paws they thought it was an internal issue... so this might be why she has been so sick. So she had surgery on it today and they took more xrays and blood tests in case. Stressful! This vet was awesome though, he's done it all so cheaply for me. Legend. So I didn't have to borrow money this time and hopefully she is all good now, picking her up at 5pm. If I needed a cheat meal any day it was today!!!! Had a scoop of Chocolate peanut butter and a scoop of Almond fudge from Baskin Robbins, was soooooooo good. Bonus is that it was a hot day so I enjoyed it even more, haha. Husband has work off this weekend so he can watch Luna as well, she should hopefully be ok after this though.

Gym this morning was good, did chest and arms and I think I'm going to be crazy sore tomorrow!!! Despite all the crazy today I've still stuck 100% to plan. Next cheat is Christmas lunch, yikes! Can't believe it's less than a week away now!!!!!!
 
Tough day Lucy! You did well to get through it, reasonably unscathed. Our little dog had a claw inbedded in one of her paws about 6 weeks ago & we managed to fix it ourselves. I'm such a sook, but she was in pain, so we did it, luckily before it got infected. Christmas seems to have snuck up on us this year. EEK!
 
Thanks Cate, Luna is waaay better today so it must've been the issue all along. She's actually up and walking around and being more normal than she has in a couple of weeks, I'm stoked!

Woke up super early this morning because she decided she wanted to sleep on my chest. I kept kind of dozing off and every time I woke up she was a bit closer to my neck until at about 6.30ish I woke up with her being a cat scarf, silly thing. I had to slide her off me so I could get up! Anyway, might be a bit tired later because of that. At least I know she's forgiven me for catching her yesterday.

In the process of figuring out next fortnights menu already, nutritionist wants me to start avoiding tinned tomatoes, starchier veges, pre-made sauces, and wants me to use more than one veg when I have veg sticks with dip. So planning what to cook my meat in and some sides etc. Haha, I actually have fun planning my meals.

Anyhoo, todays food... No workout today and I have a lift to work. I work 11-4.

B 1 pc homemade rye-less rye bread (I made this from a packet mix, the brand is Well & Good- it's really yummy!) with 2 eggs scrambled with Italian herbs, 2 tbsp. dairy milk and cooked in 1/2 tsp coconut oil
S Cauli-rice mushroom risotto (Recipe: I don't use the truffle oil) 70g broad beans
L Green smoothie with 1/3 banana, 250ml coconut water, 2 cups baby spinach, ice, choc protein powder, 1 tbsp. raw cacao, 1 tbsp. chia seeds
S 2 Orgran corn crispbread, 1/3 avocado
D 1 slice homemade chicken meatloaf, topped with 1/2 tbsp. tomato paste and a sprinkle of parmesan. Homemade cream of cauliflower soup (This recipe: I used salt reduced stock and light cream cheese instead of cream)
 
Stuck to my food today. Work was pretty quiet, ended the day by spending an hour at the casino with Wade and winning $50. My cat is doing a bit better, she's been walking around and being a bit more social and she ate all her food last night and tonight, so I'm hoping she'll just keep getting better now.

One of my knees has been bothering me a bit, I think it's my work shoes. Might have to use my 50 I won to get something with a bit more support as I'm working extra days this week!

Had a good day today, thought I'd pop in and write though as I'm tired and it's making me a bit cravey. Work went well, I work tomorrow and Tue as well then days off. Yay!

A couple of scratches Luna gave me the other day are infected and sore despite cleaning them with very stingy stuff when i dropped her at the vet, really annoying.

Anyhoo... gym tomorrow 6.30am (legs), work 10-4, nutrition appt at 5pm (my 1 month check in). That's my day done!

Damn, would really like to say that writing last night stopped me from eating badly but I still managed to fall into a box of chocolates in a big way. Yikes. Don't even have chocolate in the house most of the time but they were a gift we were going to re-gift to Wade. I know I'll still lose weight this week, just frustrating that i let a weak moment get to me. Actually I'm still pretty proud that Thu I've been doing this for 4 weeks and only ate off plan twice (no chance I'm deviating again this week!)

If I manage to lose half a kg I'll be super happy!
 
Straight back into it today!!! Had my meeting with the nutritionist, she's really happy with me so far. Overloaded me with heaps of info, especially on coping with stress and emotional eating. Also a shitload of recipes. She also helped me with a list of goals for the next 4 weeks, here they are:

I have gym tomorrow morning at 7.30am (back and shoulders), then I have to quickly duck into the shop as early as possible before all the craziness starts. Just have to grab a couple of last minute gifts for Wade and I'm all done! Then I won't be leaving the house for a bit, haha. I am going out for dinner and then looking at Christmas lights tomorrow night with Wade and a friend of his, husband will be at work till pretty late again so will just be the 3 of us.

D I get to have 130g red meat and 2 cups veg, I'll adapt that to wherever we go or just eat beforehand.
 
Errr so stuffed up a bit today. Tiredness gets me more than stress or other emotions do with eating... And had a horrible nights sleep. Took me forever to get to sleep to start off with as Wade was staying with a friend and Ash had to work late (QLD stores were open till midnight last night) and I was jumping at little noises for whatever reason, pretty unusual for me. Then husband woke me up when he came in at 2am, crashing into things etc. We ended up having general conversation about his day, then it took forever for me to sleep again. Then for whatever reason we woke up at 5am, he fell back asleep but I couldn't. Then I had a crappy workout at the gym because I was so tired, then quickly had brekki and raced to the shop before having a coffee... got home at around 10am, the ice-cream I had made tasted like crap (didn't put enough cacao in it) and instead of trying to fix it I grabbed my tub of Co yo (prob around 200g), topped it up with muesli (around 3/4 cup I think) and ate that, then had my husbands last 4 muesli bars and a coffee. Honestly I was gearing up to leave the house and have chocolate but as soon as I had my coffee I just wasn't hungry anymore, and I've felt rank all day. Haven't eaten anything else, don't think I will.

So the crazy carb binge might throw out my weigh in tomorrow but I don't even care today because I had an awesome non-scale victory... I bought a dress a couple of months ago that would absolutely not zip over my boobs- I just got it up and it fits perfectly. So outfit for tomorrow, YAY!

I do have a food plan for tomorrow. Nutritionist said that she allows full free food days on Christmas day and birthdays, but honestly I have goals I want to reach in certain amounts of time so I'm going to try my best to stick to my usual eating plan and just include next weeks cheat meal.

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!

I gave myself the best present ever... below 70kgs for the first time this year this morning! I have no idea how but my scales reckon I had a 900g loss this morning, which means I lost a total of 3.8kgs this month. Wowzer! I hopped on the scales and they initially said 71.4, but there's NO way I gained this month... hopped on again and it said 69.5, didn't think that was right either. Hopped on another 10 times and they all said 69.7, even when I moved the scales around. So guess that's it! Sorting out some progress photos right now which I might post later.

Think I actually did pretty well today, you know, considering Christmas. Had breakfast and morning meal as planned, after cheat meal lunch though I couldn't eat anything the rest of the day. More because of how spread out it was though than the amount I think! Had a salad with a few tiny cubes of avocado and a couple cubes of fetta at approx. 12.30, then at 1:30 our table got to go to the buffet and I loaded up only one plate... Had a small amount of chicken breast, 3 small and thin slices of roast pork, 3 medium slices of turkey with gravy, 4 huge king prawns, mixed roasted veg and mixed Mediterranean veg. It was a HUGE plate. Then had dessert at 2.30, I had less than half of an individual pavlova and a really small triangle piece of almond meal orange cake. I was honestly super full then when I had dessert but had to have it, haha! Also had a glass of diet coke and a huge amount of water.

Meal prepping for my next few work days right now, 3 long days then 4 days off. Yay! (for my days off anyway, not looking forward to Boxing day crazies tomorrow!!!!)

Had a nice day today anyway, I got a soda stream machine, my fav (very expensive) perfume, a really nice set of body stuff, a $150 gift voucher to my fav clothing store (which I spent already cuz they were having a freakin crazy online sale today!! Bought all stuff in an AU size 10 since I'm usually a 10 when I hit 67kgs... which I should absolutely be in 4 weeks) Got 5 dresses, 2 blazers and a really cute pair of shoes. Oh, also got a pink pair of slippers with boobs on them... haha, thanks Wade! Weather was beautiful for being outside on a boat too!!!

Another perfect day today. Yikes, work was so busy yesterday! Was so tired when I finally got home, ended up going to sleep at 9pm.

Today was super quiet, had to walk to work this morning (and it rained the whole time, urgh!) The last few hours absolutely dragged on! At least after tomorrow I have 4 days off, yay!

B Last night I baked a French toast type thing- piece of rye-less rye torn into little pieces, placed in a small baking dish, topped with a blended mix of 2 eggs, 1/4 cup carton coconut milk, 30g light cream cheese, 1 tbsp. natvia, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp vanilla essence. Baked for 20mins and left in the fridge overnight- WAS SO GOOD!

Congratulations Lucy on your well-earned Christmas present! :D Below 70kg on Christmas day after the carb binge? I would take that! I'm back to logging my food in the new year & getting back on track 100%. There is no other way for me I know. I feel horrible if I eat the 'wrong' things. Hey Cate!!! Going to try to get to your diary this morning, I haven't had the chance to drop in on other people this week.

Yesterday food went as planned, however it was absolutely bucketing down in the morning so my wonderful co-worker offered me a lift so I didn't walk. Another very quiet and boring day at work, arrrrrrrhgh. 4 days off now though, yay! I went to the movies after work last night and watched Big Hero 6 which was really funny, had a coke zero while I was there. I was actually super keen to get junk food- the cinema queue was HUGE and we only decided to get more food after we had already got our tickets so I went down to the supermarket below the cinema... and of course yesterday was Sunday, so it had already closed. Boo! Haha, I was forced to stay healthy. Good thing I guess.

Ooh and when we got home last night, Luna had vomited! I thought we were done with this :willy_nilly: She had vomited again this morning too, so back to the vet she goes today for the third time in as many weeks. Poor little thing. And my poor bank account. And my poor future scratched arms from when I have to force her in the carrier later. Just the stress I wanted to start my days off on.

Also had a weight loss comment from one of the salespeople at work yesterday! So I've shrunk noticeably.

Arrgh. Fell in a bit of a heap yesterday. Vet couldn't find anything wrong with Luna, she didn't have a temp, wasn't dehydrated, wasn't constipated, no infection... So they sent us home with cat food for IBS. She hasn't vomited again, but she also hasn't eaten much or done much more than sleep.

Had a massive junk food afternoon, arrrrrrgh. Up till lunch all was to plan, then afternoon tea turned into 200g co yo with cherries and muesli, then 8 vita weats with 8 light laughing cow cheeses, then a trip to the supermarket and WAY too much chocolate. Yikes. On track again today, been using all the extra energy to clean the house (which is now sparkling by the way). Going to make sure tomorrow is also perfect and then fingers crossed any excess water is gone before weigh in on Thu!

Tomorrow is my massive cook up for the fortnight! Grocery shopping will happen probably around 6pm-ish tonight. Here is what I'm cooking for the fortnight to freeze:

Chickpea burgers (minus the breadcrumbs. Will use psyllium husk or something to hold them together):

Tamari and garlic chicken (with breast not thigh):
Slow cooker Mexican shredded beef:
Slow cooker beef with tamari and garlic
Roasted root vegetable medley:
Turkey and spinach lasagne (with several alterations, made with mountain bread without all the extra cheese):
Aaaand a clean chocolate recipe to have on fruit and nut days- made from coconut, cashew, cacao, honey and vanilla.
 
Almost done with all the cooking, just have the 2 different types of beef in my slow cookers and finishing up the chickpea burgers. Too easy! Currently drinking the NICEST tea ever, it's Pukka three cinnamon if anyone is interested. Very sweet and rich!

Rocking out today, had PT this morning (last sesh of the year!) then started cooking almost immediately. Had to go to the shop quickly and grab some Co yo and extra tomatoes this morning so extra little bit of walking in there too. SO much cooking, and SO many dishes. Glad it's almost done!! It's worth putting all the extra effort in for one day every fortnight.

Woke up feeling puffy and really didn't want to step on the scales AT ALL... however I still managed a loss of 300g, better than nothing. I'm sure if I weighed in tomorrow the rest of the puffiness from my bad day on Mon would be gone, but I won't. Going to use it as a reminder to eat healthier! Might mean I have an awesome drop next week too, haha. I should be in the 68s by then!!

MASSIVE thunderstorm last night, I woke up a few times the thunder was so loud. What a way to bring in the new year, I love storms!!

Seeing as it's the 1st, thought I should put my goals for the year out there. Because why not? I plan on ticking them all off one by one too!

Weight and fitness goals

- Weigh 60kgs by end of April (will get there following nutrition plan, doing PT, doing bootcamp)
- Be flexible enough to put my head on my knees (going to start yoga once bootcamp finishes in April)
- Be able to deadlift 136kgs/200lbs (will get there with PT)
- Be able to squat more than 70kgs (will get there with PT)
- Be able to run more than 5kms in under 30mins (going to start running after bootcamp finishes in April)

Money goals

- Save $5000 by the end of the year (worked out a budget in relation to my current job/wage)
- Get full time work somewhere (above goal will change if my money is increased)
- Be completely debt free by the end of the year (currently paying parents back for vet bills, have a credit card I'm paying off)

Just other stuff I need to do

- Get my wisdom teeth out and get my teeth whitened
- Get braces
- Get mole on my back removed (again. They shaved it off and it's started growing back)
- Figure out what the hell I want to do, if I want to study or think about having babies. Find the meaning of life. :cool:

As for short-term goals, I'd LOVE to make this a perfect fortnight. Slash as many KGs as I can before my sister gets here!!! My next goal is still to be 67kgs by the 22nd Jan, would love if I could beat that! Also this fortnight: cutting out my 2nd cup of coffee I usually have in the afternoon at work (I've ordered some more different herbal teas to bring to work, make my life a bit more exciting) and just being more creative with food in general. Starting with tomorrow, I've mixed up my veg protein meal and made a pizza base out of beans. Go me! No idea what it'll be like, did my usual no recipe thing and threw a bunch of stuff in a blender. It looks good texture wise and smelled awesome, so might have a winner there!!!

D Pizza on a bean base made of 125g 4 bean mix, 1 tbsp. psyllium husk, 2 egg whites, 2 tbsp. mozzarella, assorted herbs (looks and feels like a pizza base, surprisingly. Very sturdy and a little crispy even) topped with tomato paste, spinach, capsicum, onion, 40g light ricotta, 2 tbsp. parmesan)

Exercise Walk to work tomorrow
 
I realised last night that between only going to the gym Mon-Wed this week and then going Tue-Thu next week there's almost an entire weeks gap of nothing, so I'm going to go to the gym on Sat/Sun. Was going to go this morning but I'm walking to work today, and afterward I'm walking to the shopping centre so I can get my nails done. Not high intensity at all but over the weekend I have a lift to work and back and will be doing nothing both days so thought it was the best way to sort that.

I think work will be quiet, I won't have much in the way of spare time today though so thought I'd pop in and post and lay down tomorrows food. Yesterday was a perfect day, 6 more to go this week till weigh in! (Except for cheat meal, but that's planned. Tue is Ash's bday, we are going out for fish n chips Mon night).

Food plan for tomorrow

Pre workout Water with lemon, 4 Brazil nuts
Post workout Protein shake
B French toast with 1 pc ryeless rye, 2 eggs, 2 tbsp. ricotta, stevia, cinnamon, vanilla
S 125g tin mixed beans sautéed with spinach, tomato, corn, capsicum, served in lettuce with parmesan and light Greek yogurt
L Green smoothie
S 2 crackers, 1/3 avocado
D Turmeric chicken over pumpkin and green beans

Exercise Going to gym for 30-45mins, legs/glutes

Working 11-4.
