Being a responsible adult! Weight loss n stuff...

Mystic- haha, I'm going ok... Bad day yesterday, awesome day today!

So yesterday ended up being pretty snacky, oops. My fault, there was junk food in the house when there shouldn't have been. Grr. Today was awesome though, went out for lunch and I was super healthy. Tomorrow I have an exercise class in the AM, work, then going out for dinner and movie tomorrow night. Yay! I'll be too busy to eat badly, haha!

Hahaha MrVee, that's a way to look at it!

So today has been good so far, at the moment I seem to be doing IIFYM with my food... Kinda eating anything I want as long as I stick to my calories and get at least 100g protein. It's honestly just laziness more than anything, but I'm sticking with it so I guess that's good enough.

Can't wait to see Guardians of the Galaxy tonight!!!
 
Movie was awesome!!!! Food yesterday was ok, just shy of a 500cal deficit. This morning I've already been to the gym (chest and arms today) and I start work soon. Really want today and tomorrow to be PERFECT for weigh in Mon.
 
Hi Cate!! I actually use Fitday- not online either, I use the program on my computer as it's so easy to just load everything on there and it's so quick.

Guys- I am here to log food!! Fo real! I grocery shopped last night and I'm planning on writing out the food plan for each following day like I used to. Got a lot of stuff coming up in the next 6 months that I want to look good for- might be going to the Whitsundays for a few days in oct for our anniversary, my parents will be visiting in either Nov or Feb (either before or after the school holidays) and I think we might be going on a cruise in Feb or March. Eee!!! So want to look awesome in a bikini!

I weighed in at 72 on Mon, ate really badly on Sunday so was expecting a lot worse. I'd like to weigh 70 by the 1st Sept.

Have my surgery next Thu, so after this week I have a week off work (so I don't have to rock up with a face full of stitches. I probably won't be able to work anyway).

Singing is going well, started learning Titanium this week.

Food plan for tomorrow

B 2 pieces protein banana bread with butter, coffee
S 2 pieces of cheese
L 2 toasted sandwiches with chicken, cheese, tomato
D Homemade mountain bread sausage roll, salad
S (post workout) Protein shake with peanut butter

Exercise 50min walk to work, bike ride to the park and back, 1hr abs and dumbbell class

I have work for 4 hours tomorrow.
 
I did a weekly meal plan for myself on Sunday and man it really has seemed to help so far this week. The food is not really even complicated or anything, it's just that having things planned ahead of time prevents me from having to make it up as I go along, and when I do that I can often over or under eat; neither of which is good.

Congrats on the singing. I think it's an excellent thing to take up. Sometimes I think people don't do enough things like that in fear that they don't have time or money or whatever, and they cost themselves a chance to do something they enjoy and gives them confidence and a boost to self esteem.
 
Hi Lucy, You must have signed up for MFP once upon a time as there is a luzdafuzz there. Not to worry :( - I love reading what you eat & you are great at planning. You seem really happy & settled now. Singing lessons would be great fun & looking forward to holidays is always exciting! xo Cate

MrVee- I usually make a general fortnightly meal plan before I do the grocery shopping. I don't usually stick to it 100%, it's just so I know the protein/veges I need for the fortnight. I usually cook 4 meals at a time too, so on cooking day I do 4x lunches and dinners and then that's what I stick to. Have to make separate stuff for the husband though, he gets sick of the same meal more than twice. Fussy!! Lol!
I love singing, I did several years of lessons while I was younger. It's one of those things that gets me out of my comfort zone a bit (it's pretty daunting even singing in front of my teacher for me!) but it's fun too.

Cate- Haha, I'm sure I must have signed up at some stage to see if it was different from Fitday! I am really happy now, which is funny because I'm in a good place I don't seem to feel the need to lose weight as urgently. I'm trying not to get slack about it though!!

Had a nice sleep in this morning, Wade is home sick today so not sure if he is going to take me to work or I'm walking. We'll see!!! It's supposed to rain for the next 4 days but the weather is holding up right now, so hopefully I won't get rained on tonight.

Food has been good today so far, no reason to see it changing. It's always easy to stick to a meal plan when I have work as I can't just sit around and eat!

Food plan for tomorrow

S (pre workout) Protein banana bread
B Protein pancakes with strawberries and Greek yogurt
L Mountain bread sausage roll with salad
S (post walk) Larabar
S (pre walk home) Roasted chick peas
D Roast beef, broccoli, brown rice, gravy

Exercise Extra tomorrow as my husband doesn't have the day off as usual... which means I have to walk to work and back. So... 10mins ride to the park and back, 1hr exercise class, then 1h 40mins walking to work and back.

I haven't disappeared, I've been sick and miserable all week. It's only a cold but for some reason it completely knocked me on my ass, I've been pretty much bedridden since Mon (I still stupidly worked Sunday) and it's been all coughing fits/ hot and cold/ serious sinus issues. I'm finally feeling a bit better now. I've been eating TERRIBLY since Sat, I think I was starting to feel sick then and decided I needed to eat all the food... and kept to that theme since even yesterday. Bit weird though, decided to be a bit more responsible today and even though collectively I'd eaten around 5000cals over maintenance... I'm only 100g more than I was last weigh in. I don't know, yesterday was a pretty bad day too so I don't know if I'm still holding fluid? So strange.

Anyway, todays food will still be whatever is in the fridge as I REALLY want to be way better by tomorrow. I moved Tuesdays PT session to Fri morning (so pt Thu-Sat. Yuck) and I don't want to snot and cough all over the DR tomorrow night (or even worse, say I have to reschedule). So! Taking it super easy again today (As in- doing nothing).

Going to catch up on some journals now!
 
This is the first time I've been sick since we've moved here June last year! It's been awesome! And of course I'm sick right as I have time off. Boo!
 
Had all those moles removed last night, bit swollen and achey now n still have a bit of a cold... so feeling pretty miserable! Still had PT this morning, I got absolutely drenched on the way there too! She took me home after though, she only lives around the corner which was nice of her. So today I'm doing absolutely nothing! And will be doing nothing for the next few days (except for PT tomorrow morning). Stitches come out Tue and should get pathology results then too.

Been eating healthy, not really wanting to eat at all right now as I didn't realise how much my nose moves when I chew and it tugs my stitches. Yuck. Still getting food in though, just lots of small bites! Was thinking of having a sneaky weigh in tomorrow morning.

Also just found out I have a compulsory meeting on Wed next week which is annoying, but I'll have Friday off next week instead which is one of my husbands days off so that'll be nice! Hmm, not much else to report.

Food today (will be pretty much the same Sat and Sun too. I ain't cookin!)

B 2 pieces toast with PB, coffee with almond milk
S Protein banana bread
L Mountain bread sausage roll
S Protein shake with almond milk
D 1/2 cup rice with stir fry veg, chicken burger patty

Exercise 15min walk to gym, 30min PT (legs)
 
I'm sorry you're not feeling so hot right now! Hope those stitches can come out quick! (though hopefully at the doctors orders, not cause you accidentally ripped em out!)
 
Take it easy while on the mend.

Relax and have a nice lazy weekend and try and put others to work. Pretend you're a Queen.
