Hi Katie, (I recently added you to my friends list on myspace) I hope you don't think I'm a stalker or anything
but I see a lot of myself in you in terms of the before pictures. I'm 5'4 and 160 and I would like to be down to 130 by summer, but don't know if that's possible. After two kids, I'm just in a major rut. I live 2 minutes from my local gym...I have a membership, but can't seem to get there. I have used every excuse in the book...
Now that I've seen your transformation I have a whole new level of motivation. I am making a commitment right here right now....I am going to the gym starting Monday! I will go 5 to 6 days a week...no more excuses!
I will have my hubby take a picture (yikes!) so I can use it as my "Before" pic and will post my results soon!

....BUT you know, YESTERDAY, while I was running, I did it again, 9 miles, and I was thinking about your comment " IF I keep up running them 9 miles, I'll be there in no time"...and I realized..."YOU ARE RIGHT"...and I didn't feel tired, and HONESTLY,...I FELT a PASSION....I just kept RUNNING and RUNNING...and then I was DONE...9 DOWN!
And at first, it was kind of like a DREAM running it the first time, but NOW, that I've done it twice, I realized that like YOU SAID it is a PASSION you feel inside! I realized to myself, that NOW that I have gotten THIS far, how could I EVER go back to NOT RUNNING! ....ON the INSIDE....LOL...I"M AN AN "ATHLETE" I said it and IT WORKS...I TELL MYSELF THAT I am POWERED BY "GOD"...and IT WORKS more....THANKS to YOUR "INSPIRING WORDS,KT" ...I"VE told myself, since I DON"T FEEL TIRED at the END of the 9 MILES...I'm gonna "DO IT"...JUST LIKE NIKE..LOL
& I'm GONNA set a GOAL of FRIDAY, SAT, and SUNDAY to run 9 Miles and the rest of the DAYS to run 5 miles a day! You are SOOO right, about HOW GREAT your BODY feels, "UNTAPPED ENERGY"! THANKS for LISTENING, SWEETS! HaPPY SAINT PATTY's DAY! (Sushi BAR TONIGHT WITH FRIENDS, SO SASHIMI it is FOR ME & GREEN BEER...LOL CAN"T HELP iT, Those DAMN ROLLs..LOL..BOTH of THEM!
