A
Oooooh EXCITING!!!! Your house is on the market soon! Make sure you get the repairs done asap, little things can all add up and make a place look neglected and get less offers. In my last house there were so many little things wrong, broken coat hooks, shattered strip lighting in the kitchen, cracked bath panel, missing door. I got all that repaired and wondered why I had waited so long lol. Are you going to stage your place to make it look pretty for viewings? I recommend that you leave the lamps on in an evening viewing, get fresh flowers for the bedroom and front room, have a bowl of fresh fruit in the kitchen, and only have posh bathroom stuff on display. And have nice magazines and books lying about the place. And make sure your bed covers are ironed. And the place is completely cleaned and decluttered. Lol at me. I need to calm myself down. I get waaaay to excited at the thought of home staging! Oh, and repaint your front door, put flowers outside and get a superposh door mat. That is all.
Yeah, I think a medium is about a 12/14 so you should be alright!
How did today go? x
Hey Ruth. It is kinda exciting yeh

we've been painting the hallway all afternoon, didnt know how long it takes, im knackered, been busy doing stuff since 10 this morning, mostly painting. We're busy with repairs aswell, broke wall tile in the kitchen fixed, broke tile in the bathroom fixed, door crack filled in, Finished painting the hallway now, gonna tape up the kitchen ready for tomorrow morning. Think thats all we'll have time to paint, but it will all be done when people come round. We do plan on putting flowers around, and the fruitbowl thing is a good idea! Usually the fruit is just on the shelf or in the fridge. We live in an appartment building so i dont think we'll put flowers outside

doormat is a nice idea. Not sure if we're allowed to paint our door :S everyone has a navy blue door lol. Magazines and books is a good idea we did that already under the living room coffee table, theres so much clutter on my bathroom cabinet should probably put most of it away! I never thought of ironing the bed covers, dont do much ironing tbh

I think the estate agent lady will be pleased by the changes weve already made in 2 weeks anyway. Will be taking the PC out of the living room cus the wires clutter up the place. Those are some good tips ruth thanks
Yesterday was fun with my friend, we went round the shops about and walked back to her place. Had pancakes for dinner (lol) and watched a movie. Then went home and my boyfriend felt to tired to go out so we just stayed in and had a few drinks, and got pizza lol. But tbf i walked about 4 hours yesterday, and i only now have had chance to sit down today so im not worried about it, its the weekend afterall and i reckon im burning some good calories around the appartment. I must look hilarious tbh, for painting im wearing, pink/red/yellow/white striped flip flops, some old work trousers, a bright blue top with butterflies on and a disgusting green coloured woolly hat lol with many specks of paint on my ofc.
We've got friends coming round tomorrow for dinner, which is nice. Im looking forward to it. We're doing gourmetten. I just hope the place is clean and ready by the time they come tomorrow evening lol.
