Becky's diary.

ASo ive been shopping today. I wanted to get myself in good spirits for tomorrow, I have a job interview, and im hopeful that i'll get it. It's at mcdonalds. I dont know if i should be worried about working in the food industry, i dont think so, but we'll see how it all works out. I got 2 pairs of shoes today, not that my wardrobe isn't already overflowing with shoes but nontheless, i needed them! sorta :p One of the pairs i bought with a gift voucher i got for my birthday so ive only bought one pair really. A nice pair of short black boots (ready for winter lol) with slightly pointed ends. and some white heels (had a serious lack of white heels) and i got a couple of nice hair clips, as im growing my hair longer probably gonna be tying it up half the time or clipping some of it out of the way. Food wise, its been good today, I did a bit of walking, probably about 2 hours whilst shopping. I treated myself to a kinder bueno. I was in the queue buying some hair dye and they were next to the till on special offer, so i thought why not? Ive been walking for ages, so yeah. Really feeling like im heading in a good direction with losing weight atm. If I get this job tomorrow my mood will be getting better again, just hate not working. So fingers crossed everything goes well.

AThanks alot Irish!!!! I did get the job :) thank god. Wanna get working as soon as possible. The interview went well, even with it being entirely in Dutch, so i was pretty nervous about it. I tried on these skinny jeans i bought a while back that were too small, they're a 38 so a small 12 i think ad they do fit comfortably though just a tad too tight, couple of pounds and they'll fit perfectly. I wore them to my interview anyway with my new boots :) and did my hair all nice but it was windy as hell and it wasnt so nice when i got there haha.
Im hovering on 163.2lbs atm which is strange cus i was 162.2 a few days ago, i reckon it'll be back down by tomorrow or so. Im doing the september challenge and i wanna get to 159.9lbs by the end of it.

AI had a bit of a binge last night. Just eating for the hell of it. on top of my usual 1200 calories i had, a big chocolate milkshake, a few fries, a piece of cake, and a mcdonalds burger >.< woops. So possibly an extra 1000 or so calories, the cake was one i made myself so i know thats only 215 calories, burger possibly 500, milkshake could be about 500 aswell. Ah well. Im going to have a superb eating day today. Ive had 400 calories so far, and been for a walk. Im going to make a nice dinner: chicken and chorizo jambalaya. And probably a small snack in the evening and thats it! Might go for another walk aswell. Need to make up for yesterday.

Thats what the last post was supposed to say but its only showing up the first sentence :S

I'm pretty sure every one on here has given into their "binge" urges every once in a while.....We are human! The good GREAT thing, is that you got it out of your system and are back on track!!!!!

Keep up the great work!

AThat's brilliant! When do you start?

What are you going to do on your lunch breaks? Are you allowed free salads or just the burgers and chips and other assorted yumminess? I guess the deli granary baguettes aren't too bad.

Hi iq_rider, thanks for stopping by :) I think you're right about that one, it seems to happen once or twice a week. But so long as we get back on track afterwards not much damage is done :)

Hey Ruth! Im not sure yet, the guy who interviewed me needed this document from the government to proove that im a registered citizen here :S for some reason. So ive just given that in yesterday. I dont know that much about it yet lol. Well i believe in England, cus my sis worked at a mcdonalds there and she got free lunch/dinner etc, but ive heard that in holland they dont do that, if you want to eat mcdonalds for lunch you pay for it, havnt had chance to ask yet, forgot about it at my interview. I reckon im just taking sandwiches with me like normal :) otherwise i might have a salad sometimes, and a cheeky burger every now and again.

So as of next monday the appartment is going on the market. Still have a few repairs to do, hopefully before then. Kinda scary really! If we get an offer too soon then it's tricky as we cant leave until january, or until we have enough money saved up atleast, then we just have the cats to think about as they actually cant leave until january. And then if we dont get any offers we're completely fucked lol. Pff well, we'll see how it goes.

Had a low calorie day yesterday, it was a bit bad really, should've eaten more. But im back to 162.2 this morning, which is great news. Gonna aim for my 1200 today, and do some exercise.

Ah i hope you dont get free lunch/ dinner because you know you'll be tempted to eat a big mac and fries!! Stick to the healthy sandwhiches i say;)

Hope you enjoy your new job:) All the best girly:)xoxo

AHeya. Well, im usually good at saying no and making the right choice :p but we'll see. I have to go next wednesday to sort my contract and get my uniform and such. I ticked on the form that im a medium, i hope to god it fits me or that will suck haha. im like a 12 or 14 would that class as medium? hmm
Had a slight tiny binge last night oops!. probably about 2000 calories total, so not catastrophic. up a pound to 162.2 this morning, but its going down thats for sure :) probably gonna be doing a few hours of walking today. Going to see a friend, and her house is a good 30 minute walk from the station, we're going shopping in her town, then probs walk to her house, and then ill walk back to the staion later, so thats some good calories burned. Going to the pub tonight, friend of a friends birthday, will try to be semi-good :p
Bought some paint and other things we need to spruce the appartment up a bit, though i feel we'll be rushing a bit to get it done for monday when the estate agent woman comes to take pictures. we'll see.

AOooooh EXCITING!!!! Your house is on the market soon! Make sure you get the repairs done asap, little things can all add up and make a place look neglected and get less offers. In my last house there were so many little things wrong, broken coat hooks, shattered strip lighting in the kitchen, cracked bath panel, missing door. I got all that repaired and wondered why I had waited so long lol. Are you going to stage your place to make it look pretty for viewings? I recommend that you leave the lamps on in an evening viewing, get fresh flowers for the bedroom and front room, have a bowl of fresh fruit in the kitchen, and only have posh bathroom stuff on display. And have nice magazines and books lying about the place. And make sure your bed covers are ironed. And the place is completely cleaned and decluttered. Lol at me. I need to calm myself down. I get waaaay to excited at the thought of home staging! Oh, and repaint your front door, put flowers outside and get a superposh door mat. That is all.

Yeah, I think a medium is about a 12/14 so you should be alright!

How did today go? x

Hey Ruth. It is kinda exciting yeh :p we've been painting the hallway all afternoon, didnt know how long it takes, im knackered, been busy doing stuff since 10 this morning, mostly painting. We're busy with repairs aswell, broke wall tile in the kitchen fixed, broke tile in the bathroom fixed, door crack filled in, Finished painting the hallway now, gonna tape up the kitchen ready for tomorrow morning. Think thats all we'll have time to paint, but it will all be done when people come round. We do plan on putting flowers around, and the fruitbowl thing is a good idea! Usually the fruit is just on the shelf or in the fridge. We live in an appartment building so i dont think we'll put flowers outside :p doormat is a nice idea. Not sure if we're allowed to paint our door :S everyone has a navy blue door lol. Magazines and books is a good idea we did that already under the living room coffee table, theres so much clutter on my bathroom cabinet should probably put most of it away! I never thought of ironing the bed covers, dont do much ironing tbh :p I think the estate agent lady will be pleased by the changes weve already made in 2 weeks anyway. Will be taking the PC out of the living room cus the wires clutter up the place. Those are some good tips ruth thanks :)

Yesterday was fun with my friend, we went round the shops about and walked back to her place. Had pancakes for dinner (lol) and watched a movie. Then went home and my boyfriend felt to tired to go out so we just stayed in and had a few drinks, and got pizza lol. But tbf i walked about 4 hours yesterday, and i only now have had chance to sit down today so im not worried about it, its the weekend afterall and i reckon im burning some good calories around the appartment. I must look hilarious tbh, for painting im wearing, pink/red/yellow/white striped flip flops, some old work trousers, a bright blue top with butterflies on and a disgusting green coloured woolly hat lol with many specks of paint on my ofc.

We've got friends coming round tomorrow for dinner, which is nice. Im looking forward to it. We're doing gourmetten. I just hope the place is clean and ready by the time they come tomorrow evening lol.

Oh look at you and Ruth having the chats about decorating houses!!:) It sounds so exciting, i wish i could join in and give my input but nada, im 21 and still live at home where mammy takes care of me:):)

I hope you enjoyed the pizza Becky, you defo deserved it after all that hard work!!:)

I hope you have a lovely time tomorrow with your friends at dinner. Let me know how it goes:)xxx

AHaha, I wore a shower cap when I was painting my ceilings lol. With a tatty old nighty.

Glad your getting it done- officially on the market today eeeeek!

Wire clutter is a good one as well. I have a glass computer desk and when I had a normal pc there were wires everywhere, it looked so messy. Now I've got a pc without a tower and with a wireless mouse and keyboard it looks so much better. I think you can get some sort of tube to make your wires look neater (you stick them all in) I've been meaning to get one for my front room for ages now.

Just looked up gourmetten, and what a great way to do dinner. Everyone can have what they like, and only they are to blame if their dinner gets cold :)

ASooo it was pretty clean in here for when the estate agent came this morning. Managed to paint the hallway and the kitchen. The spare room is more messy than ever, so she wants to get a picture of that whenever its ready :S I hope we get round to it soon, its soo terrible, think we're just gonna hire a skip, and 3/4's of the stuff can go in it and be thrown away, a few things we might try and sell. Feeling very stressed about it really. And about my job. I get stressed so easily. They want some document from me at mcdonalds to proove im registered here blahblah and i went to ask for it at the town council and i have to wait til friday before i can get it, so my appointment to sign my contract is postponed until i bring them this, and the manager said he had put me on the schedule and everything so felt a bit bad about it. So i ate whatever i wanted this weekend, but was busy atleast 8 hours each day on my feet painting and cleaning. Im totaly in the wars now after this long hard weekend lol. My ankle has randomly swollen up, like huge, it looks like an ankle of an old lady lol. The pain has gona mostly its just stiff and swollen. My boyfriend keeps telling me to keep it elevated but i get annoyed of that quickly, and how am i supposed to be on my laptop and put my leg up hmph. I have a numb fingertip aswell....weird yeh. I kept calling it painter's finger rofl, thought it was quite funny xD and now after sleeping with the balcony door open my cold symptons have gotten worse. Hmph "feels sorry for self" lol
Had my friends round for dinner last night (pretty much the only friends i have xD) it went nicely, i think everyone had a good time :)
Tomorrow back on the diet wagon! dont know about exercise with my ankle, but maybe some light walking or so.

AHiya, really hope that your feeling better and have got your contract and spare room sorted. So sorry I haven't been checking up on you! I feel really bad :(

Let me know how you are xxx

ABECKYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm.... You start working with calorific food, and now you've disappeared from here... Hope you've just been really busy. Get your arse back on here missus x

AHeya Ruth, thanks for caring, that's really nice that you checked up on me. I had a very busy non diet weekend. We visited a friend in Amsterdam, and went to a club Saturday. I started work yesterday, did a 6 hour shift and 8 hours today, my legs are screaming in pain lol, just not used to being on my feet so much. I do like the job, I've caught on pretty quick I think, it's hard work and demanding, but I'm sure I'll get used to it :)
It's funny, I havnt had any mcdonalds food yet lol. We get free drinks (small) so I have diet coke coke, and we can have 50% off the food. Don't even feel like eating it. I just take 2 sandwiches and a banana :)
Any I'm completely knackered. I'll try and write more regularly in future.
