AI am going to have a good day today.. just decided xD
Im gonna eat about 1200-1300 calories. And I will do some cleaning. Just feeling like a right podge atm lol. Only thinking positive thoughts today!

Im gonna make this tonight http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/408645/quick-sausage-stew quite excited to see how it tastes. Ive never had chick peas before. Im not even sure ive bought chick peas, couldnt translate the dutch word but it looks like them lol.

I havn't recieved any new info on when my crosstrainer will come, hmph. Hopefully i'll get the email tomorrow.

I hardly got any sleep last night, was very restless. The huge storm didn't help!

Funnily enough im a little bit looking forward to the colder weather... warm coats and scarves, snuggling inside when its cold outside. But naturally i will be moaning when theres no more warm days left.
 
AYesterday was decent. I had only 1200 calories! but i was hungry quite often hmph. I made that sausage stew for dinner, and it really wasn't bad. Kinda nice actually, but im not too sure about chick peas or about the orange zest i put in. Don't think ill make it again. Tonight I'm going to make http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1133648/pork-and-noodle-stirfry but couldn't find any mint at the supermarket, forgot about the carrots aswell, ah well..hopefully it turns out alright.
Gonna try for another low calorie day. Going to visit a friend tonight, i think ill be alright to turn down goodies and such, just dropping off a present don't think we'll stay for too long.
Anyway im starved, gonna get some brekkie now =)
 
AMy crosstrainer is here YAYYY!!! Just been putting it together these last 2 hours, im so pleased :) Now im having a bit of a cleaning spree...its going to live in the spare room when im not using it ( has wheels so i can go infront of the telly if i want ^^) but the spare room was still kinda messy, so ive just rearranged some stuff, sorted some things to take to the dump. Not that much really, it just seemed alot when it was all unorganized.

Had only 1050 calories yesterday shock horror! was at a friends all evening so didnt eat anything, if i was at home probably would have had something, got home and had a sandwich and then went to bed. Gonna make sure i eat enough today, and get a goood workout in on my new crosstrainer :D - im very happy to have one lol

Right well, Going to clean my appartment before i do my workout, and should probably get some lunch, putting it together was hard work!
 
AIsn't it great, you burn calories just putting the exercise equipment together!

Great job on the calories, but remember, it's good to hit 1200 a day at least. I know, even I'm low, it can't be helped sometimes :(.
 
AYeh that was certainly a good thing :) been active all morning. I usually get more than 1200 calories, it was just a one off Loch!! thanks for stopping by my dairy :)

Now I'm very curious..as to how many calories i burn whilst using my new crosstrainer, gonna look around for a good calculator. The little screen on my crosstrainer says i burned 450 calories in 20 minutes, which i really dont think that can be accurate, at the gym on the crosstrainer for 20 minutes i would've burned about 250? something like that which seems more realistic :S hmmm
I had read that some people had trouble with this machine with the peddaling backwards, i tried it and it completely jammed up :S hm but other than that, it works quite fine. Gonna have to tighten some of the screws often, but i dont mind that much.
 
AI love that your motivation is sky high. And that you woke up in the morning and decided that "today is gonna be a good day" and stuck to it. I always used to say to myself "tomorrow will be a fabulous day", but the trouble is come the morning I always forget my intentions of the previous day. I am going to say it to myself in the mornings now I think.

2 and a half hours to put together a cross trainers is craziness, I thought they came ready assembled :)
 
AHeya Rainbow =) Well we all have our good days and our bad days right? The thing with me is (most of the time) im either with something 100% or im only giving it half of my effort and if im not giving it my all i tend to slip and fall alot... then i have as many bad days as good. But as of tuesday i think it was, i just decided RIGHT! good eating from today, and im aiming for 1200 or a bit more for the time being, and because im completely focused on it I can do it reasonably easy, something will trip me up at some point, but not that I have my crosstrainer Im fairly confident that I can stick with it and actually make some progress for once. The last few weeks ive lost a few pounds and gained them straight back several times. So I have to make some real progress now! 20 pounds to go!

Ive done 40 minutes on my crosstrainer today, one 20 minute session and 2 sets of 10 minutes. My Iphone app says thats about 450 calories, that seems reasonly accurate compared to what i used to burn at the gym. But yeh could be wrong so i feel its risky relying on it :S

So ive consumed 1200 calories, and burned 450. So i still have to eat 450 calories right.. xD

Got a bit of pain in my leg from working out.. feels like growing pains, i reckon i get that all the time ( only in my left leg, right leg grows in my sleep lol) although ive stopped growing by now i think xD so its possibly not growing pains hmm.

Anyway i took some pics earlier just in my workout clothes, thought id put them up

AI gained 0.6lbs today!! hmph. Well Im trying not to be discouraged. Ive been incredibly good these last few days with 1200 calories, and starting working out again yesterday, my muscles do ache a bit, could have something to do with it and also my period just started to i bet thats it aswell!! so nothing to worry about i think. Gotta stay positive!!

My boyfriend is working all day today and he worked all day yesterday, so i dont bother cooking much for myself otherwise the shopping costs too much. I was going to make fish pie topped with mash but yeh, he's working until 10 tonight which is a bit late. Oh well, it can wait until next week. Speaking of which, gotta look up some more recipes to make for next week. I like cooking at the moment :)

I tried to measure my height yesterday, because i've never really known for sure how tall i am. I was measured at school at 5'7, but i was 15 then so i figured i might be a tiny bit taller than that. But anyway i measured myself against a wall and drew with a pencil behind my head and then measured that xD supposidly im 5'6 and a half...which is like not even possible!! lol im reasonably tall anyway. Dont think i measured it accuratly.

Ive done 20 minutes on the crosstrainer already this morning, so i've got an extra 225 calories today. Gonna eat all healthy things though ofc! Not much food left mind you. Shopping day tomorrow.

ASOOO Same weight today as yesterday, my tummy hurts and is all bloated from my period ugh. I better drop some pounds soon! I've done 30 minutes on the crosstrainer this morning. Slowly working my way up to longer workouts, I would sometimes do upto 70 minutes on a crosstrainer, but im just getting used to it again.

I like that recipes site ^^ lots of nice things to make on there. My boyfriend is enjoying my cooking, or so he says :p we laugh every week as we get to the checkout and see how many vegetables we've bought, its just crazy. He asked me at the shop, if he can get some redbull to take to work, im trying to make him eat healthy so i moaned at him, that its so expensive and full of sugar, and i walked off to get something, and he came back to me with a few cans of shop brand sugar free energy drink, im actually getting it through to him it seems! woop. we're both gonna be healthy ^^ and we walk right past the sweets and the chocolate, I was looking at cakes and things and he pulled me along saying we're not getting any of it lol.

So another quiet day today, was invited to a party but im not going, its a friend of a friend really and i dont want to be tempted to eat and drink too much. Though we're gonna go to a festival tomorrow. and we're gonna cycle there! I wasn't sure i'd go then my boyfriend suggested we go by bike, which is a very good idea! 7.5km each way so we can afford to have a few drinks :)
 
AJust a quick note to say that i've lost 1.6lbs!!! Wooop this working out is paying off :) very pleased.

Get someone else to measure you, you have to balance a book on your head and see where it touches the wall. I doubt you've shrunk an inch!

Glad your healthy eating is rubbing off on your bf, I think its a lot easier to do when your oh is eating well :)

My boyfriend doesnt eat half as healthy as me, he should do because hes diabetic, but he makes good choices sometimes. Better than nothing i guess.
We went to the cinema yesterday. I took some grapes with me (my bf laughed at that lol) i just drank diet coke there and had a packet of crisps (250). I worked out before hand so i had some calories to spare :) proper good workout, i was sweating like a beast afterwards haha. Managed to stay on for 50 mins this time.
Ive lose another 1.2lbs today, so 2.8lbs in the last 2 days omg!! :)
 
AToday's been kinda bad. Just feeling emotionally low and unable to pick myself up all day. My weight was up 0.6 this morning, even though i didnt go over my calories yesterday, well i ate alot of food but i exericsed enough to counteract that. So i havn't really done anything today, read a bit, played on my laptop a bit, cleaned a bit, cooked dinner, and lay in bed all evening. Then I managed to get my sorry ass out of bed and did 55 mins on the crosstrainer. I really need to get a job again. Ah well, something will turn up, it always does. Gonna try and stop moaping, i guess everyone has a bad day every now and again.

Dinner tonight was kinda lame, i marinated chicken drumsticks and made roasted carrots with it but it didnt taste that nice, my boyfriend said they could've done with staying in the oven a bit longer.
Tomorrow im making a good old british toad in the hole!!! havnt had it in a while, i tried to make it about a year ago and it was really nice, but following a different recipe this time.

Anyway im beneath my calories so far, ill probably eat something else...
Tomorrow's a new day. Gonna cook a nice dinner, and seeing my friends afterwards to meet their new little 2 month old kitten!
 
AHmm... well I've probably put on about a stone in the past week :) You will completely dissapear at this rate lol, I thought weight loss was supposed to slow down towards the end of your weight loss journey :D

Please nag your bf to eat better. He could go blind, get kidney failure, have nerve damage and all sorts if he doesn't control his blood sugar properly.

Grapes are the perfect cinema snack. I'll definitely copy you next time I go!

Hope your feeling better soon. You still managed to get some productive stuff done, but it can sometimes feel like you are going to explode with boredom when you haven't got work/learning to break up your time. Is it harder to find a job as you are not fluent in Dutch?

AHmm well, If you're a reallly good motivational dieter/exerciser and your weight loss journey is one consistent thing, then perhaps it does slow down after a while :p but like most people, there are good times and bad times, bumps in the weight loss road, like me, and when i get back to having good days again the weight loss continues xD but yeh half of the time im half-assing it and then i realise i have to put more effort in if i want more results.

I should really read up about diabetes, i dont know that much about it. He used to drink several litres of coke and beer a week, which is probably why he got it..along with the buckets of kfc chicken and kebabs he always got. But now Ive got him to stop the drinking, he drinks diet pop, sometimes water, beer once or twice on the weekend, and i think thats too much but i cant discourage him. I try and tell him if he wants to "relax" with a few beers on the weekend then thats fine, but make sure it is a few beers, ( to him thats atleast 6 , and thats 330ml cans) but yeh, i make vegetables every dinner time, and i make his lunch now (hate having to mother him, but otherwise he'd get all kinds of crap for lunch) so i give him a banana with some sandwiches to take (he doesnt eat white bread anymore) but basically its a HUGE HUGE improvement from when i first moved here, and his sugar doctor agrees. But i still wish he'd do more to be healthy, he hasnt used the crosstrainer once yet, and hes not fat but he can afford to drop a few kg's. Sorry i have alot to say when my bf's involved :p and the fact that he's autistic is probably making it more difficult along the way, he annoys me so bad sometimes lol. How he conveniantly forgets to do things yeh right. Sometimes im not sure if its the autism or just lazyness!

Anyway...
Im down another pound or so to 162.6lbs / 73.75KG / 11.6 stone =)
So let me think, how much have i lost so far... almost 20 kg's i started at 93kg. and ive lost about 2.5kg the last 7/8 days. Niiice.
So I have to pop to the shop today to get a few things for dinner, i might take a pic if it turns out nicely! I love yorkshire pudding so with toad in the hole you cant go wrong :)
 
AToday was good i think, i thoughtid have a rest day. I did about 20 minutes walking to the shop and back. I made the toad in the hole and it was tasty but the outside crust was too hard and got stuck to the sides.. And the bit underneath was too soggy but it was nice nontheless. I had eaten around 1150 calories after dinner and then at my friends i had a cup of tea with sugar and a brownie, so a little over target, but not too bad overall.
 
AHellooo diary. Thought i'd better post here again. I'm doing alright. I had a good weekend. I had a friend round and we had mojito's, fucking tasty drink mmmmmm. And I made blueberry/raspberry and white chocolate muffins, very nice, made 8 instead of 6 so they're smaller and therefore lower in calories, which im eating as part of a balanced diet ofc :p hehe. I did go slightly of the rails at the weekend, but i dont believe i did enough to really damage my progress. But yeh we'll see. I weighed 165lbs this morning so im up a bit, but im confident it'll go back down in a day or 2. Had the most amazing weather this weekend, love it. now its cooled down again. My boyfriend's mom had cut some job vacancies out of the paper for me, 3 of them seem very promising so ive applied, finger's crossed :) gotta get out of this rut of staying at home all the time. Yesterday we ate chili for dinner made with chorizo, kidney beans, chickpeas, and spicy tomato sauce, on a jacket potato with creme fraisch, it was reeeeaalllly tasty, we both enjoyed it. Funnily enough the recipe which stated to serve 2 generously, actually was enough for about 4 servings, so ive frozen the rest for another time :D
My boyfriend actually went on the crosstrainer yesterday, for the first time, which was surprising, just for 20 minutes but nontheless, he's definitely moving slowly in the right direction :)
Anyway im ready to have a good week and lose a few more pounds! I hope so!
 
AI think all men need to be mothered by their oh's to a certain extent.... If left to their own devices most of em would be living off pot noodles and takeaways lol. I'm glad that what he is eating has radically improved. The reason why I was so worried about it is because my mum didn't control her diabetes properly, and she has kidney disease, and nerve damage because of it. I first noticed her drinking a boiling hot drink without feeling it burn, and then, when she was cooking dinner one day her overweight bare belly touched the hob. She didn't feel a thing... what alerted her to the fact her tummy was burning was the smell. Its horrible. It was an awful burn. And it can make you go blind as well. That sort of damage can't be reversed, not controlling your diabetes can't be reversed. So I hope that he can stop being so "carefree" about his food, and leaving it all to you to organise, and take the reigns in his own hands to get healthy. I can't beleive that he used to drink sugary drinks! That is the worst for Diabetes!

I like your attitude that the past two days have just been a treat, and you will be back on track tomorrow. We all deserve rest days every now and then :)

AThanks for your input Ruth. I just try to make him eat as healthy as possible, its all i can do really! He actually made his own lunch today and took it to work, he took a banana too and i didnt have to tell him too xD
I realise Im not writing so often on here atm. But there's not much to say, I hate not having a job gahhhhhhhh!
I've applied to 5 this week, all i could find, and 2 of them have said sorry but no, and the other 3 i doubt im gonna hear anything back from them, its so annoying. Ive just seen that they have vacancies in Mcdonalds :/ think ill just go for it, just need a job for 3/4 months to save some money for moving. I applied there last year an they were gonna take me on but then i got a better offer so, i dont see why they wouldn't employ me.
Im back down to 163.2 lbs atm, so thats pretty alright, just hope i dont fuck up again this weekend. The fact that im bored all the time and getting a bit depressed doesn't help! Some days i just feel like eating everything and i say what the hell.
Anyway, trying to not let myself slip down into that spiral.
 
AGetting up at 5 o clock and eating a 3rd of my daily calories is not the best idea hmmm! lol I couldn't get back to sleep. So i had some cereal with yoghurt and a piece of chocolate brownie cake ive just made. Now gotta try and make up for it as best as i can. Though I know I cant catch up now unless i workout for like an hour, and quite frankly, i cba xD lol it's a saturday so i wont be too hard on myself, i was really good yesterday, and my weight is down this morning. Gonna have a fairly low calorie dinner and try not to have anything else unless im really hungry later on. We'll see. Im making moroccan fish with cous cous tonight.
