haha yeah you eat a lot of potatoes!
I went to a school in ashford for 3 weeks, visited oxford, Cambridge, brightons and london. I had tons of fun

cleaning the fridge is therapeutic you find things you don't eat and it isn't pretty haha but necessary

I don't like needles but they are so small you hardly notice them. I am way more scared of big hospital needles for blood tests and such. gaaargh scary stuff!
yes I am feeling better now. one step at the time. you sweets?

I don't know if I am adding enough calories in my diet
what I do know is that I am not starving or struggling with it at all.
but I might be wrong and I do need a bit more?
every day varies a bit, today's meal plan:

breakfast
two natural fat burners, l carinitin and artichoke extract.
a small bowl of smart start cereal with skinned milk
a cup of green tea with splenda
2 glasses of water

exercise
40 min on the elliptical bike

snack
an apple

my strong meal *at 2 pm
two natural fat burners, l carinitin and artichoke extract.
a chicken breast with raw broccoli with low fat cheese

snack
raw carrots with lemon and chili powder

dinner
l carinitin and artichoke extract.
maybe a slim fast

exercise
30 min of yoga on a balance ball
and stretching

dinner is tough because I simply dunno what to eat. I am hoping that by substituting just nights with a slimfast shake will be enough. I know skipping meals isn't the way to go and I am forcing myself to a bowl of cereal or eggs for breakfast. before it was maybe a cup of coffee as I am not hungry during the mornings.

I feel like forcing myself to eat LOL but I know that actual eating helps during the weight loss process. these are just healthy changes and introducing a lot of fresh veggies and fruits will do the charm. the fat burners and artichoke extract are just a small aid, like green tea.
do you think green tea works? it is yummy though!

that is awesome!
we should exchange e mails and e mail each other every time we are on the verge of temptation haha : D measurements too? wow

I've been craving a subway sandwich too! just yesterday I thought about it!
I so want one but I might have one after my first 5 kg goal so I have extra motivation. that is so funny we have so much in common.

my height is 1.58 cm.

and omg... i just saw... uve lost a lot of inches and weight in the past few weeks... while i seem to be gaining?!?!?! HALP!!! :(

I know how you feel actually I lost the first 6 kg like a year ago. but then I got stuck and didn't work anymore. sometimes cms and kg are deceiving, you just focus on staying healthy and exercising regularly and it will pay off. even if it is just one kilo per week it will be worth it!
I didn't lose one single gram in my first two weeks dieting again. the body has to adapt to your new lifestyle so it takes like a month before you see a lot of results but hang in there!

I got hungry today!
I have to remind myself to bring snacks to school.
thankfully I didn't succumb to fries or a hamburger but it was hard waiting to get home to eat. I didn't have a slimfast but a chicken sandwich and water. I know it is late for carbs but I am about to do my workout w00!
my stationary bike is winking at me.

I have to get the exercise habit going on. I am eating healthy I just need that keep it up with my routines, I know it is an important part of losing weight. but I feel great that comes first!

tomorrow I have to go grocery shopping. I plan to have spinach and I want to add healthy soups but heck I don't have the time to do them! raw or steamed veggies are the way to go. it is funny how I am a student - and I have the diet of a grown up haha, no precooked noodles or beers in this home!

im seeing results but i think i effed up my ticker thing.

seeing the results is the important part.
ticker can be tampered with :p haha

I decided to add the 6 kilos I lost a little while back. it keeps me motivated because I didn't gain them back so they were legit!

I decided to join the calorie count page and see how much I am really eating during the day. I can't believe I am hardly getting passed the 1000 cal. count and I feel like I eat so much! for instance my meal plan for tomorrow :

breakfast>

cup of Milk, Nonfat, Fluid - Without Added Vitamin A (Fat Free Or Skim)
and smart start cereal

Main Meal>
cup of Broccoli - Cooked, Boiled, Drained, Without Salt
Tuna, Light, Canned In Water - Without Salt, Drained Solids
1 slice of Bread, Mixed-grain - (Whole-grain, 7-grain)
2 cups of Spinach - Raw
1 Pear - Raw

Snacks
an apple or cashew nuts
dinner> Rich Chocolate Royale - Optima Shake

Total Calories Consumed 872 what! that is not near my 1500

sure that thing can't be entirely right and I still need to add the small things like a bit of light mayo on the tuna or chipotle, and a sweet and salty nature's valley bar that has 170 cals. and like 13 grams of sugar. that is too much for one granola bar so I am def. staying away for a while.
but well counting the bar my today's intake is just a little over 1000. and I didn't starve at all I actually struggled to finish my raw broccoli.

this calorie counting thing can be exhausting. it is tough to get it right so I will mostly focus on staying healthy and nor forgetting my regular exercise.
I just hope I am not doing things wrong and with a little practice I'll get better at it.

also I've been going crazy over the whole health debate. I love love love my cereal smart start but now it isn't healthy because of the sugar. I don't eat much of it so I don't think that can hurt. it is way better than diet drinks full of aspartame anyway right?

it seems like anything can kill you nowadays. from pesticides, genetically altered stuff, artificial sweeteners, even water. that or everything will get you cancer. It is enough to make anyone lose their mind!

I believe in the end.. the thing is to do your best and feel good about it.
not care about all those killing agents around you!

haha that is amazing! :coolgleamA: so you do know how great it is not to gain those back again!
we do have shockingly similar weight loss and goals and I am glad I have you as my abroad fitness pal :D we will make this happen doesn't matter if it takes 4, 5, 6 months. the important thing is how we will keep that weight off and gain a healthy lifestyle. xoxo!

today I feel great.

I had a small bowl of smart start cereal with skimmed milk and some almonds.
I know many people don't like it because it is too sweet and believe it is unhealthy buy I love that it is whole grain and I am not adding much carbohydrates or sugars in other way. to have a bit of a boost in the morning is great! I am ready to start working on my mini sessions and see how it goes.

I'll start with:

15 minutes of stretching and yoga on my fitness ball.
those things are amazing really! it helps in your balance and crunches feel all the way back to japan boy they are tough!

then I will do around 20 minutes of cleaning around my house which is a great way of exercising a bit and doing chores!

I have some homework- photography

then around 3 pm I'll have my main meal. I am thinking of a chicken breast with the few veggies I have left xD and an apple.

then I will walk to take my bus to school- I do around 8 minutes of walking in a moderate pace that includes stairs.
I walk another 5 minutes from the bus to the school.

after class I will take the bus again and walk other 15-20 minutes while I do grocery shopping.
I want to buy spinaches! zucchini, mushrooms, whole grain bread and all the goodies.

then I will get the bus back home, have a slimfast dinner and work on my 40 minutes on my stationary bike.
a bit more stretching and I am done for the day

I realize I can't get the body I want in a day so I will focus on trying to workout each day with new approaches.

I might even do some outdoors walking tomorrow. I know this great place to do so and it is close by.

realizing this will take a while is tough but I know health comes first. I want to get a better body by august but it all depends on how my body reacts to my new lifestyle. three months is a good number to lose at least 20 pounds. what do you guys think? xoxo

the picture is from what I ate today:

chicken breast-medium- no oil added- just pepper and lemon, delicious
and a large portion of mixed veggies from HEB selected orientals, steamed in their bag. I also had a cup of green tea with a little honey and I am having some raw carrots and an apple in a couple of hours
I feel great! my body is happy

like I said I had a little cereal in the morning.

I am still a little worried about not eating ''enough'' but I am def. not starving.

and because not everything is diet and exercise...

I won a scholarship that will give me around 3500 dollars to do photography. today they finally deposited the first 1000 and I am going to buy new equipment with it! yay

taking photos makes me stay active so I love it

thank you very much hun!

keeping a positive mind is very important. of course we all fall to temptation but knowing we can get back up quickly is great. it makes us stronger

how cool that we both have creative careers! we creative people feel things a bit more intensely that is why dieting can get tougher at times. sometimes I just want to sit and cry but I remind myself that it won't get me anywhere!

if we weren't so far away I'd give you my telephone number so you could call me anytime you were feeling down. but we can do that through e-mailing or even skype :grouphug:

and thank you! I am really excited about the money because it will help me create and print pictures! I so want my new camera haha

xoxo

Hey,

everything sounds awesome and so dedicated!! I was having the same thought about taking pics of food and adding them! Congrats on the schlorship. I often worry if im eating enough, i was told if i dont eat enough my body will go into starvation mode or summat lol So hard to get in to a routine with excercise, i have a little booklet that refers to joggers memory or something like that and it gives little tips on how to make excercise a habit. I scan in and email ya it if ya like?
